“Let’s leave. We’re not sticking around here,” Yuu said as they began to walk through the tall grass. If they were lucky, they’d run into someone that was willing to help and not ask many questions.

“Well, well what do we have here?”

Yuu jumped, a scream bursting from their lips. Grim squirmed out of their arms and floated in mid air, his ear flames bursting brighter. Standing in front of them was a man wearing the most ornate outfit Yuu had ever seen outside of cosplay inside an anime convention. Clearly going for a steam-punk like style crossed with opera, Yuu couldn’t tear their eyes away from the birdlike mask or the feathers adorning the long cloak with ends that looked like bird wings.

“Goodness gracious!” the man exclaimed, a little too cheerful. “You’re not from this world.”

In where Yuu is summoned to a strange new dimension (by an occult) and will find their way home (and solving the mystery to why they were summoned in the first place) through the power of accidentally befriending the local organized crime fractions. (Or Yuu is accidentally the most powerful person in this world through the power of Friendship.)

Hello everyone! I am back with the next chapter to this fic. It’s really flowing and I have so many fun ideas that I am always excited to write. Though, I do apologize for putting my Fire Emblem fic on hold. I’ll get to that next!

another piece for the pile. this one took ~25 hours, ish? i regretted it as soon as i picked it lol. still CSP, still gouache brush [my beloved] and various blenders. when i got to the rain poncho i had to bribe myself with sweets to do all the texturing, it was hell on earth and that alone took 6ish hours. i am most proud of the right [his left] eye lol i think i nailed that sucker

if anyone has recommendations for the next one, speak now; i am very bored over summer break waiting for college to begin and this damn show is swallowing up my life, so might as well lol

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words on my Cal Kestis cosplay!!! It was a blast to wear around the con, and I can't wait to wear it again!

My mom graciously was the one who made my cosplay, and she did an amazing job!!! She is a very talented seamstress, and I def need to learn how to sew from her haha BD-1 I got from Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland, and my lightsaber I got from Disneyland as well.

After a bit longer than expected, new chapter!

Life is crazy but it's been decided that I should break up the planned chapter into two bits so have part one of the holiday chapter (which feels odd to be posting when it's only September and also 80 degrees where I live but shhhhh)

In the monster!kids AU, gore means something very different for the Batfamily than it does for most. Sure, meaty entrails & sprays of blood are still stomach-turning (or the closest thing to it, for those without literal stomachs) but Dick’s injuries mean that shattered porcelain and empty hollows are just as bad. Everyone’s seen Dick cracked open, surrounded by shards, with the stark, unpainted inside of his body on full display, and an expression of shock & pain thanks to their dangerous lifestyle. Some glue, a steady hand, and some recovery time is usually all it takes to fix it, but the first time anyone sees it is traumatic enough to leave a permanent mark on their psyches.

(Dick, Bruce, and Alfred specifically also have... issues with pitted stone and statues worn down beyond recognition. Tim invites Bruce to one of his parents’ exhibits at one point, but Bruce sees an ancient, broken statue and has to leave. Dick’s nightmares are filled with crumbling pumice so often, you’d think he’s trypophobic. Jason is completely oblivious to these facts and the part his death plays in them.)

Oh yeah last night I hung out with Noelle and we watched the newest episode and it genuinely killed me like badly like it was so dope but also it killed me forever. The animation was so studio triggerful this episode (naturally since it's by them but it had that look to it this time despite the movements always being very studio triggerful) but in a wonderful way.
