não imaginava que escutaria a voz da namorada - eram duas e vinte e três da manhã e ela estava bem do seu lado dormindo, para começo de conversa -, então, não conteve um franzir de cenho ao se virar um pouco na direção dela. “eu te acordei?” foram as suas primeiras palavras, mesmo sabendo que era óbvia a resposta. jack deveria ter tentado dormir por mais de uma hora e meia antes de desistir e pegar o celular da cabeceira para adiantar algumas anotações que precisaria ter prontas para um processo no qual estava trabalhando. se não conseguiria pregar os olhos por um minuto sequer para dormir naquela noite, pelo menos queria ser produtivo. e estava com muito na cabeça, então, trabalhar o distraía - era o jeito mais fácil de ignorar o que não queria lidar em sua vida, normalmente -, e, imaginava, assim os riscos de acordá-la diminuiria por não estar se remexendo para tentar dormir.  “foi mal, achei que não tinha feito barulho.” suspirou, bloqueando o celular e estendendo a mão para tocar suavemente no rosto da namorada. “vou fazer mais umas coisas e aí eu durmo, não precisa se preocupar comigo.”

a verdade é que não conseguia realmente agir normalmente e fingir que o absurdo com o pai e a noiva - e a gravidez - não estava acontecendo e, mesmo que o susto inicial - susto ou surto, dependendo do ponto de vista - tivesse passado, era absurdo demais para poder parar de pensar naquilo toda vez que começava. a relação com o pai beirava uma complicação até bem maior que com a mãe, e isso que considerava a mãe completamente maluca - e, ultimamente, jack não queria nem conviver com ela por conta dos comentários sobre michaela. entretanto, a irritação com seu pai ainda era muito maior pelo quão hipócrita o considerava. “sério, eu só… tô com bastante coisa na cabeça.” passou o polegar pelo maxilar dela. nunca havia gostado de ter de se abrir sobre questões mais sentimentais e, mesmo com mick sendo mais fácil do que com a maioria das pessoas, ainda tinha certas travas. “você estar aqui já é suficiente. se quiser sumir com meu pai pelo resto da minha vida, vou agradecer também.” riu fraco. mas, já era perceptível que ela não iria deixá-lo simplesmente fingir que não era nada demais. tirou a mão do rosto dela e se ajeitou melhor na cama, de forma que pudesse abraçar a namorada e a puxar para mais perto. “sinceramente, não quero falar agora. não de novo. ele é hipócrita, inútil e um pai de merda, e não vai mudar a minha vida pra melhor perder algum tempo falando dele. mas valeu por me aguentar quando eu tô assim.” a ideia de poder se abrir em um relacionamento sem virar algum motivo bizarro de briga era ainda meio estranha para jack. “não precisa se preocupar comigo, eu vou superar. não vou encher o seu saco com isso agora.” fez um carinho nos cabelos dela com uma das mãos. “só me deixa ser carente um pouco e te abraçar, amanhã eu faço algo de café pra te compensar por ter te acordado.” riu fraco. “e, de novo, foi mal mesmo. você tem que acordar tão cedo quanto eu.” mesmo sabendo que ela não se importava, sentia a necessidade de deixar claro o quanto sentia muito em tê-la acordado. ter um relacionamento saudável era algo a se acostumar.

I think for this answer I'll just focus on Pietro's relationship with Rome and Romano, since they're not dynamics I focus on too much. Reminder that I'm not a historian, so if I get things wrong please be kind and respectful <3 I've also, of course, had to oversimplify some stuff haha

ROMANO -

I think Pietro likes Romano quite a bit. He’s a religious fellow who respects Pietro and the church’s authority. Romano, on the other hand, gets annoyed by his pompous, ‘holier-than-thou’ attitude, and really dislikes the way he talks about and treats Feliciano. But he won’t say anything to his face because he’s such a Good Catholic™ and he doesn’t want to risk getting on the church’s bad side. It certainly doesn't help that Pietro can be so charismatic, either. His resolve and attitude quickly turn into jelly, and he becomes quite the goodie two-shoes when around Pietro.

This does frustrate Feli, though. Romano is generally protective over him and will defend him if necessary, yet he struggles to speak up against Pietro.

ROME - 

I’m still working on my headcanons about Pietro’s childhood, so stuff is bound to change! I’m still debating what his identity as a personification is tied to, especially at such a young age. For now, his roots are tied to the very early beginnings of the Holy See (/Apostolic See). And, like I do with a lot of nation headcanons, he was likely kicking around for a bit before he started forming an ‘identity’ as a personification. So I think he’s been around for approx. 2000 years. 

(A small aside, but I think it’d be interesting if Pietro had some personal dilemmas on what exactly he represents. Is he the church? Or is he just the people living within the Vatican? When he was The Papal States he never thought much of it, seeing as he was free to be more than just a religious institution. But now he can’t help but wonder and it’s… confusing.)

Pietro wasn’t raised by Romulus, nor does he have any blood relation to him. They largely ignored each other for a while- Romulus had other, more pressing matters to occupy his time and Pietro steered clear from Romulus, keeping to himself and his practices (though he’d still face some ire/scrutiny from the Romans from time to time). But things took a drastic turn after the Great Fire of Rome, with Nero's persecution of Christians. Romulus, also greatly hurt and angered from the fire, was pulled into the frenzy, and his opinion on Pietro seemingly changed overnight. In his state of mind, Pietro was no longer just some strange kid trying to find his way in the world, but a possible threat that needed to be caught and extinguished. Pietro was eventually caught, and this is when he likely experienced his first death. 

I think Pietro’s opinion now towards Rome is quite mixed. Despite not being related to Rome, and ultimately being persecuted by the man, his city wound up in Pietro’s hands (along with other large swathes of his former territories). Through this he was exposed to Rome’s cultural legacy, and grew to (begrudgingly) respect it. Rome was a great man who achieved many great things, but he also traumatized Pietro and hurt his people (and other peoples, too). He’s not entirely sure what to think.

Eu que deveria estar agradecendo, depois que tu mandou o ask eu dei uma pesquisada mais profunda e descobri que esse símbolo é até banido de uso nas placas de carros na Alemanha, de tão conhecido que é. Respondendo a pergunta:

O filme foi divertido, mas não foi tudo isso que fandom achou. Não sou muito fã de conceitos da continuidade (des)alinhada, mas consegui aproveitar bem meu tempo.

Personagem favorito... Hm. Acho que é bem perceptível que eu sou maluco pelos Constructicons então eles não contam. No momento meu personagem favorito é o Dirge! Sou obcecado pelo conceito dele. Ele tem o poder de espalhar o medo pela vibração das turbinas dele e usa isso pra criar uma persona de "cara assustador", mas no final das contas isso é só uma máscara, no fundo é ele que se perde em seu próprio medo quando as coisas saem de seu controle. Inacreditável um personagem assim na franquia e nenhuma exploração profunda dele! ( Eu gostei dele em RID, mas ele não foi um dos escolhidos pelo John Barber e dá pra ver 😢 ).

Menção honrosa para o Astrotrain, que é o maior Zé da franquia. Só tristeza.

What's your interpretation of the origin of the Celestial Breed? Are they Chinese? Japanese? Are they even related to Imperials at all, or was that a lie to hide the source of their celestial egg?

Oh interesting questions! I will have to circle back to this once I actually go through all my (many) notes, but I was actually keeping track of the Celestial/Imperial interbreeding specifically.

Just had a quick look at my notes, at those on the Japanese Celestials in particular, and my thoughts on the origin of the Celestials and their history can best be described by repeatedly hitting the question mark:

So I am really not sure about the origin, though I am tempted to say China; purely for the reason that irl (to the best of my knowledge) dragons spread from China to Japan. There's also this:

“the story of the Yellow Emperor of China, the first Celestial dragon, on whose advice the Han dynasty [202 BC – 9 AD, 25–220 AD] had been founded” (b.1, ch.8, p.204)

but it is a story that may be rooted in truth or just straight up invented. Now I could also headcanon my way into saying that they are from Bhutan since the official name Druk yul can apparently mean "the Land of the Thunder Dragon", and maybe then stolen from there or that the Celestials were bred from more feral dragons with a lesser version of Divine Wind found in the Bhutan area.

As for their relation to the Imperials: I do think that the Celestials and Imperials are quite closely related and will quote Howe for that:

“Brief observations by travellers have yielded only a handful of incomplete details; we know that the Imperial and Celestial are distinguished by the number of talons on their claws, which are 5, unlike virtually every other draconic breed, being four-fingered; similarly, their wings have 6 spines rather than the 5 common to Asian breeds. In the Orient, these breeds are popularly supposed to be highly superior in their intelligence, retaining into adulthood that remarkable facility of memory and linguistic ability which dragons ordinarily lose early in life. [...] That the Celestial is closely related to the Imperial may be inferred from the few illustrations we in the West have managed to obtain of this breed, but very little else is known of them.” (1.1)

Now of course he could be wrong, since this was written about 10 years before he met Temeraire and therefore an actual Celestial and everything he writes is based on accounts of other people. I'd agree though that they are too similar for them not the be related. I would also very much agree that the whole 'two Imperials can sometimes produce a Celestial egg' is a lie used as a cover up.

Ideally this is where I'd say hope this answers all of your questions but I am confused/torn about this myself ^^' Thank you for asking though! This was fun to think about :3

para começo de conversa, a emily ainda se imagina morando em bend. entretanto, se imagina finalmente sem precisar de uma colega de apartamento para dividir todos os custos, pois, também, espera ou ter sido devidamente promovida, ou ter arrumado o cargo de seus sonhos em outra empresa de marketing na cidade - o que a deixaria já com o dinheiro necessário para ter um apartamento bom sem passar aperto. seria o seu desejo estar em um relacionamento estável, também, embora duvide que esteja casada nessa altura, visto que sua vida amorosa está uma bosta - nas palavras dela, não minhas - e, no momento, só pode sonhar com o futuro noivado hipotético. mas, definitivamente não se imagina já com filhos.

emily é uma pessoa que tende a acreditar muito mais em ações que palavras, e isso se reflete em sua maneira de demonstrar o amor pelas pessoas em seu entorno. não vai mandar um textão de declaração para ninguém, porém, certamente vai estar se oferecendo para ir junto no tipo de programação que qualquer um consideraria uma furada - mesmo reclamando durante o processo -, levar uma comida que saiba que a pessoa gosta para ela, concordar em assistir um filme que não gosta tanto e sabe que deixa a pessoa feliz, ou se oferecer para ligar e fingir uma emergência para que volte antes de uma furada.
