Rhiannon - my original character for a Temeraire RP. She’s a Mauerfuchs; a Prussian dragon from Naomi Novik’s Temeraire series.

This might be the very first art I've ever drawn for Temeraire and it'll turn 10 this August o.o The design has developed a bit since then; I've drawn a Mauerfuchs again in 2017 and 2018.

Origin: Prussia Weight class: courier (b.3,ch.14,p.264), possibly sometimes approaching light-weight*

Appearance: unknown Real world inspiration: the butterfly Lasiommata megera, commonly called brown or wall brown, in German Mauerfuchs (literally “wall fox”) Egg: unknown Development: unknown

Other:  described as high-flying (b.3,ch.14,p.264), can sustain 20 knots (b.9,ch.17,p.292) which makes them fast dragons (b.9, ch.17, p.302)

Known dragons: none named
