"We did. I never thought I'd ever get to see her again..." Well crud that meant she could go toss that tacky helmet that was still sitting up on a hill back in the Valley. Oh well. What mattered....was they were together again. "Come on....I'm about ready to crash myself."
Her legs were tingling still from keeping up a high speed for that long. She knew here kind were endurance runners but....that was a lot for her. Add on her condition and rest was a requirement for all three siblings. She joined her brother in the elevator and pressed the button so they could head up.

this is Silver’s description from Super Smash Bros. Brawl
A hedgehog who traveled back in time to defeat the Iblis Trigger and therefore alter the future. Silver has a positive attitude and a strong sense of justice. He has telekinetic powers that allow him to control physical objects, including abilities to freeze or shock enemies, which he uses to fight for peace and justice.

Part two of this post because I feel like.
Shadow: Why did you think Silver is your brother? This doesn't make any sense!
Sonic: This is by far the most crazy thing you have ever said and you said a lot of crazy stuff.
Star: First of all: rude. Second of all: the physical resemblance is scary! He has the same chest fur as me and Papa, the quills are also similar and sometimes his personality kinda reminds me of you, Dad.
Sonic: Hang on...
Star: Also, he never talks about his parents. Even now that everything is alright in the future, he never mentions them. And dad, remember when you told me you went back to another dimension and met the Knights of the Round Table?
Sonic: Yes?
Star: Well, you told me that Silver was called Sir Galahad there, and I was reading some history books and found out that Sir Galahad was actually Sir Lancelot's son.
Sonic:.... Oh my Chaos 😨
Shadow: Wait, but this doesn't mean anything! Besides, how the hell would Silver have inherited telekinesis from us?
Star: Well, think about it. Eggman mixed your DNA with his own to create me. What if, by adding human DNA, it served to hold back your genes from causing other mutations. Silver may not have that gene, and the mutation grew in him and ended up giving him telekinetic powers.
Shadow:.... Oh shit.
Star: I'm just saying that you guys may have another kid, but no big deal *continue to eat her dinner*
*Later*
Sonic: *on the phone* Silver get your ass here, we're doing a paternity test!

SILVAZE FAMILY IS HERE!!!!! I've been thinking a lot about the concepts I wanted to explore with them and their lore and I'm finally satisfied with the result! Even though I'm not a big fan of Silvaze, I think the dynamics between them are interesting to work with. And for my AU, they're quite relevant!
Here are some fun facts about them in my Sonic Next Gen AU:
Blaze and Silver, the Empire of the Guardians.
- Silver and Blaze were together at the end of the Great Incident at the End of the World, a bigger problem that arose and began with Villains already known to them and Sonic's gang. - After Blaze became Queen of the Sun Empire, Blaze lost contact with Sonic and his friends. She could no longer return to their dimension, as she now understood the consequences her Trips there had within the Dimensions. - Her routine became more hectic than ever, although she always remained a responsible and organized Cat in her duties as Royalty. - Silver understood that Blaze was an important part of his life after all the past events, and so he made the Sacrifice of staying by her side in her Dimension. Leaving his future origin and his old team in it, who were now also in good hands and safe, in an emotional farewell. - Even though Silver decided to stay with Blaze, he remained responsible for being the Guardian of Time. Having possession of the Time Stones and ensuring that no one interferes in any event, be it past, present or future. - After time passed, as they were now married, ruling their own Empire and being guardians of powerful jewels with Blaze, Silver always wanted to start a family. But it was a distant thought, since pregnancy between different Species was risky for both the mother and the child. Blaze also didn't like the idea of being a mother very much, even though she knew that at some point, she would need someone to inherit her legacy as Queen coming from the same blood. - After some hesitation, Blaze makes the decision. She would also like to start a family with Silver, and is now more open to the idea. She mentions that he made many sacrifices for her and she was willing to do the same for him.
Chance and Cyrus, the Twins coming from the Sun.
- Chance and Cyrus are twins, born during sunset. Their names refer to Good Luck and Enlightenment. - Chance is worthy of inheriting and ruling the Sun Empire in the future, as she is the first to be born. - Although they were very close when they were younger, Cyrus feels that Chance should not inherit the Throne. Since she feels unprepared and often overestimated, this leads to the birth of a greater Envy. - Chance and Cyrus were conceived with their mother's Pyrokinetic powers. But not only these, they also inherited The Eternal Flames. Their mastery of these is equivalent to the total mastery of fire that will never go out, being lethal if it reaches its Peak. Their powers were dormant within them when they were still young, and neither of them knew about it… Until they became young Adults. - Cyrus can also teleport and create weapons through telekinetic powers. Chance has always been very reluctant about his powers over fire, having much more connection to the Flames than his brother. - Chance, despite being destined for the Throne, never felt confident about it. She talks countless times about her insecurity with her father, with the fear of disappointing everyone. Silver has always been one of her great voices to guide and calm her. While her mother, has always been the inspiration to keep doing the right thing and be determined during her journey. - Cyrus has always shown interest in the throne, but while he has not yet achieved it, he has trained to continue as the protector of Time, like his father. Although he was never able to actually go with him during his time away, he learned a lot from Silver about how time can be treacherous and affect countless events… Something he always reminds himself of.
Nova Del Sol, the Youngest Prince.
- Nova is the youngest child and also the most withdrawn of the other two siblings. Born during the night, this last pregnancy was the calmest Blaze has had, which was a positive surprise, knowing the great risks involved in having children of different species. - Unlike his two siblings, Nova never had any great connections with fire, he always had an irrational fear of large Flames. - He was always very interested in the stars and the waters. - Nova has the ability to create a Gravitational Field, despite being a child, he gained great mastery over his powers. As a baby, his abilities acted erratically and almost always as his feelings took over. - Blaze always comforts him by reading books and telling stories during his nightmares, something that happens quite often. - Silver always enjoyed playing with him, creating stories and helping him with his lessons. Although he is always surprised by his own son's reasoning ability. - There are times when Nova says, "I've seen this before," but in reality, he has brief visions of the future. He still hasn't figured out the purpose of this, perhaps it's to predict something worse coming in the future…
Extra Fun Fact: All 3 children end with "Del Sol" since they are children of mixed species. A concept I put into my Next Gen AU: Although they are not necessarily a mix of species, their names do not end with the animal they are. Which indicates that they are considered hybrid children! (The theory of Amy Rose being part Echidna is interesting to me too lol) Finally, I believe that's it! I've been planning to write and draw some scenes about them. Even though I've already shown a bit of Chance's old concept here, I feel like I ended up giving her a new vision, and besides… I ended up adapting what was already going to happen before >:) See here also my SonAmy kid: Skyler The Hedgehog! See here also my Shadow's kid: Aura The Porcupine! Thank you very much for reading, sorry for the English mistakes! <3

Uncanny X-Men Abridged: 1986
The X-Men, those depressing mutants that have sworn to protect a world that hates and fears them, are a cultural juggernaut with a long, tangled history. Want to unravel this tapestry? Then read the Abridged X-Men!
(X-Men 202 - 209) - by Chris Claremont and John Romita, Jr.; June Brigman; Barry Windsor-Smith, Dan Green
Before a crisis crossover takes over this title, 1986 is basically all about Rachel Grey. In previous years, I’ve never been much of a fan of her: she’s is depressing, she’s self-involved and she basically keys into the worst aspects of a Claremontian character: they angst angst angst on the inside and never spit it out. She is all trauma, all the time and she’s not even fun about it. While I understand the horrific depression that accompanies the feeling you get when you see the world descend into hell in a handbasket because people keep making the wrong choices and voting for Mutant Registration Acts and nazis, her forever frustration about not being able to do anything about it doesn’t necessarily make her an engaging character.
This year, she ramps it all up, proving my point that the Phoenix makes everyone one hundred percent more dramatic. Combine that with her dad’s flair for exaggerated angst and, well, you’ve got a doozy of a character on your hands.

Using your cosmic powers to dramatically blink on like a porch light? Baller move, Rachel. (Uncanny X-Men 203)
What’s the Buzz?
Xavier? Is alive, but whisked off into space.
Magneto? Recently became an X-Man. Decidedly not a villain.
Jean? No longer dead! Read elsewhere for more details.
So, is this a new instalment in the Phoenix Saga? Nnnyo, not really. It’s more like a sagalette. Like a reboot of an original with new actors, excepts it’s… not great. So this is like the Phoenix Saga: New Class. I apologize beforehand for the lack of jokes: this is a pretty grim year. Before we get on with it, a quick reminder of our cast:
Phoenix: Rachel Summers. X-Man. Telepath, telekinetic. Future child of Cyclops and Marvel Girl from a dark future that has since ceased to be. Depressed. Makes it everyone’s problem.
Storm: Ororo Munroe. X-Man. Currently depowered. Recently beat Cyclops in a duel for the leadership of the X-Men. Badass. We all simp for her.
Wolverine: Logan. X-Man. Healing factor, adamantium skeleton, claws. Currently has fewer plotlines than Cyclops, and he isn’t even in this book!
Colossus: Piotr Rasputin. X-Man. Turns into steel. No relation to Cyclops.
Nightcrawler: Kurt Wagner. X-Man. Fuzzy, BAMF-y, bouncy. Like all the other men, currently a little neglected in the storyline-department.
Shadowcat: Kitty Pryde. X-Man. Can turn intangible. Always and forever the junior on the team, but no longer as innocent.
Rogue. X-Man. Steals powers and memories by touching people. Can’t quite control that. Southern accented sweetheart.
Magneto: X-Man. Silver daddy, former terrorist, magnetic powers. Recently promised his long-time rival/ex-boyfriend that he would teach the Dream to young mutants.
Callisto: Morlock. Even though Storm pretends to be their leader, she’s really the leader of the sewer dwelling outcast mutants. Presumably has powers, but other than dressing like a Sex Pistol and being a badass lesbian, I have no idea what they are.
Caliban: Morlock. Childlike mind, pale, bald. Can track other mutants.
Selene: Immortal psychic vampire that can manipulate inorganic matter. Powerful, scary. Member of the Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club. Good villainess seeks good storyline.
Nimrod: Deadly mutant-hunting Sentinel from the same dark future as Rachel Grey. Deadly serious about killing all mutants on Earth, but apparently only intermittently.
Secret Wars 2
Ugh, Secret Wars II. I can’t even skip it, because this time, the Beyonder – more like the Beyawnder – is part of ongoing plots. He’s in this world. Bah!
Well, at least Rachel kicks off the narrative with a bang.

Instead of leaving a note, this bitch rigs a projector to tell everyone she means to murder someone. So extra. <3 (Uncanny X-Men 202)
After their run-in with the Beyonder in the crossover, Rachel Summers has decided that this omnipotent god/manchild needs to die. (Apparently, he scrubbed the New Mutants from existence on a whim, so she’s not entirely off base here.) Since she’s currently the host of the cosmic powers of the Phoenix, she’s the woman for the job!
While Magneto uses Cerebro to track Rachel – yes, even Claremont somehow doesn’t realize that telepath =/= magnetism – Rachel confronts the Beyonder in San Francisco. He toys with her for Reasons Unknown and gives her infinite power and a choice:
Kill him;
Save the X-Men he just teleported over to the West Coast and put into mortal danger by also pulling in some lethal Sentinels from her future. For no apparent reason, he forgot to bring over Nightcrawler; no, this is never really explained.
These Sentinels are clever little bastards, by the way. A lot more clever than the toaster ovens we’re used to. Check out the beautiful way they take out Rogue:

Sure. Rogue, previously a terrorist, would definitely use the word bozo rather than artifical asshole, robotic wingnut or fuckwad. (Uncanny X-Men 202)
Rachel then makes the choice to save her teammates (through another awesome display of power), instead of killing the Beyonder. She does give him a good slap for toying with her, so there’s at least that.
It’s obvious Claremont is trying out a lot of things to shake up the status-quo and make his stories feel fresh again. He replaced Xavier with Magneto and now he’s shifting the X-Men to San Fran, where they stay to help rebuild the city. It’s a change of scenery that won’t last a long time - presumably, somewhere the idea of the upcoming Mutant Massacre got pitched and Claremont realized he needed the X-Men in NYC for that – but still, Claremont is trying. Not very successfully, sadly: while the Mutant Massacre will, actually, shake up the status-quo a lot, for now we’re very much in the narrative doldrums.
Kitty, meanwhile, has realized she can summon the Soul Sword and Illyana’s accompanying armour, but when she tries telling anyone about this, they’re all like: “New Mutants who?”

I wonder what kind of intense bond Kitty had with Illyana, ahem, roommate that she does remember Illyana whereas even her brother Colossus doesn’t. - Uncanny X-Men 203
Kitty realizes that the Beyonder means to erase the X-Men from reality as well, just like he did the New Mutants – what can they, mere humans, do against such reckless power?
This is where Phoenix points out that she:
is not a mere human;
still possesses the power that the Beyonder lent her in his twisted little game.
Rachel means casually to erase and rebuild the universe without the Beyonder in it. “You can do that?” asks Kitty (and the viewing audience). Surely it would be easier to just erase the Beyonder? In any case: she needs power to do so. Rogue, Kitty and randomly Spider-Woman give it up willingly, Magneto, Colossus and Wolverine relinquish power while sleeping and Ororo tries to talk Rachel out of it, but she still just takes it.
The Phoenix rises again and, once more, takes for the M’Kraan Crystal and touches the cosmos. (I told y’all it was Phoenix Redux.) But after touching all those countless lives of people just living, Storm gets through to her – I mean, killing the entire universe would lay heavily on anyone’s conscience – and Rachel ultimately doesn’t do it: she teleports everyone back to San Francisco.
The Beyonder appears, furious: Rachel undoing the universe was all along his plan, because then he could return to the Primal Unbeing without making his hands dirty. Rachel was his catspaw, and she failed even that. Why he doesn't just end the universe himself is beyond me (pun not intended). But before he can kill them all, Rachel returns her Phoenix powers to him, along with the insights she gleaned. And, just like her, he realizes that life is precious. Rah rah rah. He disappears, leaving the X-Men alive.
Ffs, the Beyonder is the most boring villain ever. An omnipotent teenager who just realized that he’s not the only living thing in the universe. This whole arc is just… such a nothingburger. The Beyonder turns out to be irrelevant, the New Mutants are restored to life and even Rachel’s new lease on life is extremely temporary. Absolutely the worst kind of tie-in to a Crisis Crossover. The only fortunate thing is that I don’t think I’ll have to read about the Beyonder ever again.
Nightcrawler’s Solo Adventure
Kurt is still back in New York, angsting about the Beyonder and the implications of the existence of something so terrifying and so godlike. His Catholic butt big sad, y’all. But then, he hears someone getting kidnapped by Arcade and saves her in a swashbuckling Mad Max side quest! When returning the captured girl to her apartment it is revealed she is… Judith Rassendyll, the lost Queen of Ruritania!
Yeah, we never ever see Judith again and the next time we see Nightcrawler he’s back with the X-Men, so this one off is truly madly deeply the onest off of all one offs.

Yes, just like Spider-Man, Nightcrawler recognizes the sound of Arcade kidnapping someone by the very specific sound the truck makes when it uses a… pipelike contraption to sweep someone off the sidewalk. It’s a superhero thing, you wouldn’t get it.
Wolverine’s solo adventure: Reavers & Deathstrike
Somewhere, Spiral – previously of the Freedom Force in order to hunt a fugitive man called Longshot – is modifying a bunch of guys called the Reavers and Lady Deathstrike (she’s new!) in her Body Shoppe. I always have a bit of a tonal whiplash with that, because to me, the Bodyshop is a bougie store that sells cruelty free soaps and scents. Needless to say, Spiral’s Body Shoppe is decidedly not cruelty free.

Fuck, but I really love Windsor-Smith’s artwork. Lush (which is incidentally what the Body Shop was rebranded to) (Uncanny X-Men 205)
The Reavers are some ex-Hellfire Club-goons that Wolverine once cut up. Since then, they’ve become bionic, in an effort to become strong enough to face Wolverine. Deathstrike – neé Oyama Yuriko – also wants vengeance on Wolverine for Something Mysterious he did to her dad. She is one of Wolverine’s many foils, and she’s beautifully designed too: she shares his idea of honour, but not the humanity or morality to wield it well. Also, whereas Wolverine had his humanity forcibly stripped from him when he got his adamantium skeleton, Deathstrike gave up her humanity willingly.
Meanwhile, it’s Christmas in New York! (It’s never really explained why Logan is in NYC, so don’t worry about it!) Whilst out shopping in the snow, Katie Power (Energized from the Power Pack) gets snatched by a half-naked feral Wolverine, which arouses obvious suspicion from the police. (Fair.) There’s no quicker way to unendear me from a comic book than by introducing precocious preteen superheroes. Like, eight year olds shouldn’t be vigilantes. Still, this is a convincing narrative, mostly because Katie is a good innocent foil to Wolverine.
Anyway, Katie and Wolverine flee from Deathstrike and the Reavers, proving once again that Wolverine can’t be near young girls without forming a paternal bond with them. Finally, Wolverine goes berserk and picks off the Reavers one by one, before dueling Lady Deathstrike and defeating her. In a cute detail, Katie keeps her eyes closed during their whole battle, so as to preserve her innocence.
Solid one-shot that, like Windsor-Smith’s Storm issues before this, mostly serve to flesh out one X-Man. It also introduces Deathstrike and the Reavers, who’ll be important later.
Rachel’s breakdown
The X-Men decide to stay in San Francisco for now, with Jessica Drew (a former Spider-Woman) and, uh, a rando. It’s all so normal that Kitty even has a date! (Which brings out the mother in Storm, always a highlight.)
It’s never really explained why they don’t want to return to the Institute. Is it because Magneto rules Graymalkin Lane now, and the X-Men want to let him know that they’re not okay with that? It’s never said aloud, but…
Anyway, a postcard from Scott, Madelyne and baby Nathan is enough to send Rachel in yet another tailspin how she can’t meet her dad’s family and I’m so over her. Fuuuuuck, this is exhausting.

I mean, I guess props to Claremont for writing an annoying, drama-prone teenager convincingly, I guess. (Uncanny X-Men 206.)
AND THEN FREEDOM FORCE ATTACKS. For this raid, Freedom Force, formerly the Brotherhood of Mutants, consists out of:
Spiral. Dimension dancer, we saw her three paragraphs ago.
Pyro. Idiot Australian. Can control fire, but not create it. Thinks he’s a lot smarter than he is.
Avalanche. Idiot Greek. Creates earthquakes, but maybe gave himself his codename during a ski trip? Is about a smart as he thinks he is, which isn’t a lot.
Blob. Big, big guy, cannot be moved if he doesn’t want to. The perfect lackey.
Spider-Woman. Presumably the reason Jessica Drew isn’t Spider-Woman anymore, but I’m not invested enough to run a background check on her.
Mystique. Rogue’s foster mom, Nightcrawler’s actual mom. Calculating shapeshifter. Usually the leader.
Destiny. Rogue’s other foster mom, Nightcrawler’s actual other mom, Destiny’s paramour, though those last two covertly. Can see the future, usually. Schemer.
Mystique and Destiny aren’t actually there, which means the Brotherhood is at about 15% of their usual competence – and 14% of that is Spiral – and therefore quickly dispatched with.

Avalanche and Pyro, burning through their last braincell. (Uncanny X-Men 206)
When the police arrive, the Freedom Force reveal they're federal officers working for the USA, having been pardoned by the government. Since the X-Men have built some goodwill rebuilding the city, the cops want to see a warrant first. The Freedom Force didn’t bring one – again, these guys don’t do well without Mystique – so they are forced to let the X-Men go for now. They vow to return, however, necessitating the X-Men to flee, making their stint in San Francisco the shortest-lived status quo shake-up ever.
Prelude
The X-Men then go to live with the Morlocks for… some reason? Look, I don’t mind a little show rather than tell, but this year just feels so… disjointed. Why was Wolverine in New York? Why did none of the X-Men go pick up Nightcrawler? Why aren’t they going back to the Institute? I get that the Morlocks’ Healer is healing Wolverine after the fight with Deathstrike, but surely the mansion's med bay is a better recovery place than the fucking sewers. Some allusions on why we’re doing what we’re doing might be nice.
I think it’s mostly Claremont spinning his wheels. Highlighting the Morlocks is not a bad move, considering what will come Later This Year, but it’s all done so haphazardly, so randomly.
Anyway. Fine. There’s more Rachel Angst: despite her Life-Is-Worth-Living epiphany with the Beyonder, she’s slipping back into her depression. She senses that the X-Men don’t trust her, her volatile powers and the way she almost went Dark Phoenix. And, while that might be an accurate depiction of depression and the way you can regress while dealing with it, narratively it’s very frustrating to see Rachel keep hitting that same fucking button.

Welcome, gentle readers, to Symbolism 1.02: The Shattered Mirror as a Metaphor for the Shattered Self (Uncanny X-Men 207)
Rachel and Wolverine keep invading each other’s nightmares and then Rachel flees, afraid of the X-Men’s dirty looks and the way they keep her at arm’s length. On the surface, she then has the bright idea to go and kill Selene, in some… misguided effort to do some good, I guess? Wolverine follows her, tipped off by her nightmares.
To her credit, Rachel actually succeeds in infiltrating the Hellfire Club and nearly murders Selene, but Wolverine stops her, claiming that heroes don’t do murder. (Again, not a wrong take for the X-Men, but Wolverine is perhaps the least qualified to have a strong opinion about this. Now if this were Storm or Kitty…)
Rachel is (again) in a dark place and is (again) losing it. She refuses to stop:

Suicide by Snikt. Damn. (Uncanny X-Men 207)
Anyway, he fails at killing Rachel and she gets away. Wolverine reports back to the X-Men, who vehemently disagree with him trying to kill Rachel. All except Storm, who “understands but does not sanction” his actions. Well, I guess that's not a discussion worth having any further, right? Then, they set out to find her.
The narrative then proves Rachel’s point, when a weakened Selene immediately slaughters a mugger and his would be victim. She then rallies the Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club to go after Rachel (Sebastian Shaw is reluctant) while somewhere else, Nimrod emerges from his weird self-imposed exile – seriously, he’s an undercover robot who lives with a family and it’s yet another weird character turn that I don’t quite fathom – to hunt down Rachel, because her power levels have been spiking. (Sure, but Selene running around doesn’t ping your radar, you weird mutant-huntin’ murder!bot?)
Meanwhile, a desperate, lethally wounded Rachel happens upon the bodies of the people Selene killed and immediately does a long distance lash-out at Wolverine. Both Storm and Rogue realize they should have treated Rachel kinder, that they should have recognized her depression. With Wolverine out, the Morlock Caliban becomes their tracked.

Caliban, we can only applaud your shirt! (uncanny X-Men 207.)
Chaos erupts when these groups meet each other. You’ve got:
The X-Men;
The Morlocks Callisto, their leader, and Caliban;
The Inner Circle: Selene, Sebastian Shaw, Tessa (Shaw’s assistant), Harry Leland, some enforcers and Von Rauhm, Selene’s Black Rook;
Nimrod, who senses twelve X-Men, which is at least five too many(!) But more on that later.
When Nimrod very easily kills the Black Rook, it has, at the very least, the quick effect of uniting everyone against him, like when a bear stirs up a hornet’s nest. In the ensuing chaos, a traumatized Rachel once again flees the scene: she fears Nimrod from the alternative future she comes from. And then she hears music and slips into a supposedly abandoned theatre...

Apparently, Rachel’s idealized self doesn’t have a lesbian haircut. Boo hiss. (Uncanny X-Men 207)
The observant reader recognizes this interdimensional Body Shoppe by now. And just like that, with a promise to take all the pain away, to leave everything that Rachel was, Spiral spins and twists and dances Rachel out of the narrative.
Man. Even the ending of her storyline is kind of a bummer. Rachel abandons her family and friends simply so she can escape all of her pain. She sees no other recourse but to scrub herself from her life. There’s very little hopeful to be gleaned from this, even though Rachel at some point returns – although by that point, she’s so different you can kind of wonder if this Rachel actually survives.
Back in the park, Nimrod takes out Rogue and Nightcrawler, and uses Sebastian Shaw’s powers – to absorb any and all kinetic impacts, shrugging off even the most powerful of punches – against him, punting him into the stratosphere. It takes the combined effort of Harry Leland’s gravitational powers, Colossus’ pure strength and Shadowcat’s electricity-frying phasing to slow Nimrod down a little, but the effort of the fight gives Harry Leland a heart attack.
The old man doesn’t go out without a fight though:

Took the words right out of my mouth, Wolverine. (Uncanny X-Men 207)
Aw, I’ve always liked Harry Leland. He always seemed a lot more grounded than most of the Hellfire Club, even despite that silly burglar mark.
I think this issue marks the first time that Tessa and Storm successfully work together. Tessa (the one in the stylish shroud) will turn out to be very important later.
Shaw’s deep impact takes out Nimrod, but just when Wolverine prepares to cut the robot to bolts, it teleports away. It’s a little dissatisfying, but that’s kind of par for the course at this point. With sirens blaring in the background, Tessa offers Storm shelter at the Hellfire Club and, strapped for other options, Storm accepts the offer.
And with Rachel gone from the story for now, and the X-Men needing to regroup, we end the recap. Next up will be the first mutant crossover, something that will become a yearly staple henceforth: the Mutant Massacre.
What to read: I’m sorry to say, but you can skip it all. Turns evil: Rachel. Sort of. Poor girl. You can tell she was one of Claremont’s favourites, considering all the abuse he put her through.

Poll 2, Round 3.
About Lily: (by @galacticghoste) Lily is a magic tube baby. She is a genetic copy of her kinda twin Iris only difference is she has Tails DNA.She loves the outdoors and gardening and since she magic tube baby she gain the ability to manipulate plants instead of just being able to communicate and empathize with them she not big on fighting as some of her friends but she will do it to protect those she holds dear.
About Ari: (by @pokeypoqi) Ari is the single daughter of Silver the Hedgehog and Amy Rose, she lives a pretty normal life besides some abnormal inheritances (cough cough, Silver's telekinesis) and, well... I mean, having your dad be from the future is kinda rough. Anywho, despite outbursts few and far between, Ari is a gentle spirit at her very core. She tends to be quiet and reserved, but has her mother's compassion and love for the world, and finds a lot of enjoyment in the little things. Her mastery over her telekinetic abilities is... well, acceptable; she has the basics down, really, which tends to allow it to get out of control when backed up by strong emotions, sudden imbalances, etc. Ari's a good kid, but she definitely has SOME repressed grudges against not having a very "normal" family, and being quite isolated in her earlier years. (Note: Yet to make other fankids (besides Wafer, if anyone remembers her) to go with Ari, so hopefully she will get some friends her age EVENTUALLY lol)

INFODUMP FOR THE MASSES 🫡
i’ll be calling her S for now as I can’t really find a name I resonate with for her!
long before the perception of time or planes existed, a thick darkness shrouded the entire cosmos. then, as if a star was birthed, lady light was formed by known means. light covered the land as vast as the eye can see. dark eternal, the deity associated with the darkness, is warded off by an iridescent prism. dark eternal is sealed within an obsidian locket, deeply hidden within the labyrinths of the temple.
s comes from a hedgehog village many, many years ago - established before the echidna tribe was formed. all inhabitants share a white, iridescent coat and circular and linear markings across the body and head — similar to silver’s gloves.
a priestess is to be the oracle and sole protector of the prism, dedicating humility, literature, and arts to their goddess. their culture is rich and deeply rooted into their ideals, wanting to learn more about the world they live on.
s is around the same age as Tikal, and the two were very close friends and acted as representatives for their respected people. both share ideals of peace, unity, and justice. Tikal often prayed with S at the temple.
yes, S is silver’s mother. the father passed away.
an unknown being grabs ahold of the locket — turning out to be a member of their own village — and donned the locket, releasing dark eternal once more into the world.
s, knowing the prism was to be sought for destruction, shattered it and sent the shards across the zones. one shard, a teal color, she infuses into silver which is why his specific telekinetic powers are stronger than most in his time. S engages in combat and subsequently banishes him to the unknown realm, s herself sealing away into a statue made of her with a few of the shards in hand. silver is young, only about 3-4, before being sent away, thousands of years into the future with no recollection of his origins. shattering the prism is what caused hedgehogs to now have colored coats - blue, pink, etc.
the creation / birth of shadow triggered dark eternal’s release — creating a connection between black doom and dark eternal. s is released from her stasis due to the events of Sonic 06 and timeline anomalies. she does not meet the others until the ending of 06. the sonic franchise crew phases in and out in terms of finding the shards. silver learns his origins during this time as well.
sonic and crew end up aiding S in the final fight against dark etenal, S now having all the prism pieces, ascends to a state similar to super, but with its own set of powers and strengths. s gifts silver the prism, him being the sole survivor and heir, before ascending to eternally serve lady light. silver is able to still communicate via mediation.
#out of.#her and Tikal on my brain.. briefly thought about making a dual blog for them ALSKDKEKXJ#long post /

Meet two of Lance's companions, Amaru and Ginchiyo.
Originally I was planning to use the names of Warwick and Galahad but decided to go my own way with names and designs for the fellow knights. (I wanted to have more variety and plus I'm not constrained by having to follow Arthurian stuff since this is Mobius instead the Black Knight storyline.)
ANYWAYS.
Amaru hails from the Rico Islands. He's a healer on top of being a knight, earning him the rank of paladin. He's a gentle soul who will do whatever it takes to protect his people and his home. His most famous battle was with that of Black Arms. Lance may have lead the charge but Amaru was the one to finish the battle. Leaving a bit of impression on their leader. (And a grudge)
Ginchiyo (often called Gin) hails from Tetsukawa, a society of Mobians that specialize in telekinetic powers and favor mind over strength. Gin, wanting to have both strength in mind and body, traveled to Acorn Archipelago to become a knight under the House of Acorn. He proudly fought alongside Lance and Amaru, often acting as the tactician of the group. He would later become the father of young hedgehog named Silver.
And that's all for now. Really happy with how both these boys came out. <3 More details about them in the future. Especially Amaru and his battle with Black Arms. All in due time though.
For now, hope you enjoy.

"Whatever, Chaos Control."
In a blink of an eye, both of us were in back in Amy's living room. I felt great knowing that Shadow had heard my calls for help, and it felt even greater to know that he cared about me in one way or another, whether he admitted it to himself or not.
"Shadow?"
Shadow turned to look at me from the bottom of the steps. The look he held wasn't one of anger or annoyance, but of concern.
"If you are about to ask to see her I suggest you hold your tongue. She is still resting and I'll be damned if you want me to wake her for something like this."
"Woah, calm down. I stare at her room for a couple of seconds and you think I want to talk to her at a time like this?"
"Be serious," Shadow had his teeth clenched in either anger or jealously. "Just because she trusts you and gives a damn about your life does not mean you know her as I do. Keep your distance and we will get along fine."
"Then what gives you the right to push people away for her. I feel guilty enough that I'm here, and even more guilty that I have to put her through this. You have no idea what I feel or who I am! So don't tell me what I can and cannot do!"
"At least I know what is best for her! You didn't even know her in your time!"
"That's why I am here! To make sure she lives to see the future! But you don't care about that! All you care about is that I am here and she cares about me now! Stop thinking with your jealously and start thinking with that 'oh so logical' brain of yours!"
I stormed away from him and made my way into the kitchen preparing to make myself a glass of chocolate milk. As I reached for a glass a memory began to play in my head.
--
A young Silver was running through the halls of his barren home, he giggled as he watched the toy rabbit he was playing with float in the air, covered with the mist of magic he calls his telekinetic powers. Unbeknownst to him, through Silver's laughs, his father's sobs rattled the walls of his room. Shadow was clutching the framed picture of his deceased wife, Amy Rose. The picture was taken in a field of pink wildflowers in mid-spring, right when they were at full-bloom. Amy was standing there in a red spring dress and a peach, wide brim hat. Her happiness shines through the smile she gives to the camera.
"You are more beautiful than any flower in any field." That is what Shadow had said when he took that picture.
A little over a year later, everything in that photo would cease to exist. The field would be destroyed. His Rose would die soon after. The memory of that day made Shadow cry harder into his free hand.
Silver passed by his father's room and heard the awful noise of sadness that seeped through the thin, wooden door. Usually, his father never let sadness run through him, and instead displayed an array of love and happiness whenever Silver saw him. To hear him so sad confused Silver.
"Papa?" Silver dropped the rabbit he was playing with and frowned. His little fingers tapped on the door, trying to get it open. But it was to heavy for Silver. "Papa? Papa, are you sad?"
Silver tapped on the door a little louder. The crying suddenly stopped. He heard silence then followed the shuffling of footsteps.
"Come in, Silver. Papa is alright."
Silver smiled as he excitedly opened the door.
"Papa!" Silver ran to his father and engulfed him into a big hug. Shadow wrapped his arm around his son and used the other to pet his quills on his head. "Papa, were you sad?"
Silver felt his father tense at the question, then he heard him sigh.
"Yes, my son, Papa is sad. But it's okay, Papa will be okay. Don't worry."
Silver looked up at his father and smiled brightly.
"Really?"
That smile made Shadow break inside; it was just like his precious Rose. Tears dropped down Shadow's tired face.
"My son, you look just like your mother. You have her loving heart. Her beautiful eyes. Her bright smile."
Silver looked confused as to why his father was crying. Usually, he would smile when he talked about the boy's mother, but this time was different.
"Papa?"
Shadow dried his tears and picked his son up. Silver giggled his father placed the young boy atop his shoulder.
"Mommy loved you very much my son. She will always be with us." Silver simply nodded his head. He had wished he had met his mother, and every time he heard of her, it made him feel sad. Shadow took notice of this and walked towards the door. "Hey, what did I say about being sad? Only Papa can be sad around here."
"Why?"
"Because sad boys don't get chocolate milk."
"Chocolate milk! Okay, I'll stop being sad! I want chocolate milk, Papa!"
Shadow chuckled at the bouncing boy on his shoulder as he walked towards the kitchen and towards the refrigerator. Shadow put Silver down to prepare the two glasses of chocolate milk. Meanwhile Silver watched excitedly as his father poured in the chocolate syrup into the glasses and stirred them, making them a rich brown color. Shadow passed one glass to Silver and kept the other to himself.
"Hey! I thought sad boys couldn't drink chocolate milk!"
"But I'm not sad."
"Why?"
"Because, I have you here with me. That is all I need to be happy."
"Me too! And even more that I have chocolate milk."
"Always remember, my son, remember how much your father loves you."
"I love you too papa!"
--
I smiled through the tears running down my face, and I watched them as they dropped around the glass of chocolate milk.
"Rest easy my dear parents. We have a long road ahead of us."

"I had to snag them when I saw them! They're STILL so hard to find where I'm at!" Acorn Kingdom wasn't exactly known for having a variety of exotic fruit.... "But it was SO worth it!"
She gave her brother a gentle one armed hug, Clove may be gone...but they could still have a good holiday while remembering her. "It's good to see you, Silver."
She loved her older brother dearly... didnt get to see him as often as she'd like but she treasured the times when she did.
(from crossed-worlds) (Cassia to Silver) "Hey! Brother! Look what I found!" She holds up two mango sized golden fruits. "Marula fruits! Just like the ones Clove used to somehow find for us when we were kids! I managed to get some! Thought it would bring some cheer to the holiday!"
"Cassia!" Silver hasn't seen his sister in what seems like forever! He's so excited to see see her, so much so that he's floating!
Upon seeing the fruit, a fuzzy memory of them shows and he accepts them. They are familiar... The smell of them as its closer sharpens the memory and he smiles brightly.
"Yeah! I remember, they were so rare and she still managed!" He misses her... But now is a time to be happy! "Thank you Cassia!"

Sonic World project plan: Silver & Blaze (Vol. 1)
This series is not an assured project. It is a concept that can still be changed or scrapped.
Synopsis
There has been an anachronism in the timeline. Silver goes into space to investigate. They have to fight Dark Oak and the Metarex to save the timeline. Both also run into a mysterious new fiend named Paradox.
Characters
Silver the Hedgehog - An optimistic, telekinetic hedgehog who comes from the future. He travelled into space to stop an event that will destroy the future.
Blaze the Cat - The princess of the Sol Dimension and best friend of Silver. She has pyrokinetic powers.
Dark Oak - The leader of the Metarex. He is a half-cybernetic/half-botanical alien being. He seeks to spread floronic life across the universe that will destroy all beings of flesh.
Paradox the Hedgehog - A mysterious purple hedgehog connected to Dark Oak. He wears high-tech speed shoes.
Black Narcissus - A narcissistic high-ranking member of the Metarex.
Urthia - A female high-ranking member of the Metarex with a wrathful personality.

I just had a wild dream where my brain created a whole new Sonic the Hedgehog game to explain Silver's continued existence in the games.
I wanna write it down before I forget, because I'm proud of my brain for putting so much detail into this during a dream.
So, there wasn't any name, but there were six mini stories. The first was Shadow Lancelot on his own, the second Silver and Amy Rose as a sidekick, and the third Sonic and Maria as a sidekick (yes she was alive). There were three more you had to unlock by playing the first three stories, being a version of Silver who tried to contain Mephiles within himself (kinda like Elise and Blaze did with Iblis, but Silver failed) and an Amy Rose mid roboticization sidekick, Maria and Shadow with Maria being the character you play as, and Sonic with Metal Sonic as a sidekick.
So, the only one I played in my dream was the Sonic and Maria one. From what I could gather, there's numerous timelines for the games, and due to Silver time travelling at least once in every timeline, some have the ability to hop between timelines. The Silver we keep seeing in the games is a version of Silver from a timeline that was completely destroyed except for him.
The villain of the game is a version of Silver where both Iblis and Mephiles had to be contained within a living person, and when he tried to contain him using himself in the future, it failed and he basically got possessed. His telekinetic powers have been replaced with the power to shadow bend and control these purple crystals. He's begun hopping between timelines and merging them together, as well as trying to possess more people to create a hive mind to search for a version of Iblis he can fuse with and become Solaris. This possession of people outside of the Silver he's currently in kind of works as an infection.
Your sidekick doesn't follow you into the levels. Instead, there's this small hub world with the levels. As Sonic, you can talk with Maria, and she'll follow you around the hub. In the storyline for them, Sonic is trying to find a way to stop the possession of Maria, since she's gotten "infected" with the darkness that is a sign you'll become possessed in a few weeks. However, in a voice line, it mentions that she's scared her infection might spread faster since she already has an illness. The infection seems to start in the legs, possibly as a shadow grabbing you to infect you, since there seemed to be these black and purple vines wrapping around her legs. Because of this, she walks slowly.
The actual levels were pretty normal, all being a 2D level with 3D animations. However, there would be times where the level would flash or flicker into a 2D, classic sprite look for a moment. I kinda guessed this was to show timelines merging. Most of it seemed to be based on the Space Colony Ark, because Maria can't leave it and Sonic didn't want to leave her alone and scared on the Ark. There was also a lot of secrets in the background, like being able to see characters from other stories in the background.
In the main hub, if you talked to Maria, she'll sometimes talk about her timeline. In her timeline, Shadow was the one who died, and she's been living alone on the Ark the entire time until Mephiles, disguised as Silver, showed up and infected her. Then, shortly afterwards, the timeline merged with the one your Sonic comes from. Your Sonic came along and has promised to cure her from the Darkness, which is what the infection and hive mind has been named. Sometimes she asks if Shadow is still alive in your timeline, and if she's alive, or if this or that happened. Your Sonic isn't from the main timeline, so you get to answer these questions however you want using dialogue boxes and create the story of your timeline.

Chapter 7: Ruthless, Rueful, Toothless, Truthful
Tensions run high as Silver is introduced to the sharper side of detective work - in his opinion, anyway.
As I said - more of a part two, so I had to kick this out quick. I'm gonna rest a few days after this one, but I really appreciate everyone who is reading along! ❤️❤️
#jk like i won’t literally fall apart but man am i emotionally invested in this story#obviously if it’s planned to end sadly i will be along for the ride but i can’t say i won’t cry#i just want the ninja detective and future telekinetic boy to be happy and fine#but sometimes love is cruel :(#wonderincs#espilver#silver the hedgehog#espio the chameleon#sonic fanfic#team chaotix

Sonic Headcanon Sunday #8: Silver
Just a heads up, I’m starting to lose motivation on this, so this one may or may not be the last one I do before taking a break on this for a bit. Anyways, here’s my top 10 favorite headcanons I have for my favorite time-traveler!
1. Winter is his favorite season. However, the ironic thing about that is that he’s very sensitive to cold weather, due to being used to a hotter climate in his devastated future.
2. Thanks to Espio, he’s grown somewhat fond of poetry.
3. Silver doesn’t wear actual clothing too often outside of formal events (like a lot of the other male Sonic characters tend to do), but his favorite clothing piece is cardigans.
4. He, as well as Knuckles and Shadow, had fallen victim to “updog” and “joe mama” jokes.
5. His telekinetic abilities tend to go a bit haywire when startled or in extreme emotional distress.
6. Silver absolutely loves chao and always enjoys visiting and taking care of them in chao gardens, but he’s yet to officially have a chao of his own.
7. He’s a pretty decent singer, but is extremely insecure about others hearing it, out of fear of being made fun of. His singing is for Blaze’s ears only.
8. He can speak a bit of Italian.
9. The design on his gloves are actually also part of his bare hands.
10. Due to inhaling so much smoke in his bad future, Silver is an asthmatic.
#Like I said I think I might take a bit of a break from Sonic Headcanon Sunday for now.#But if I decide to get back to it expect some Eggman headcanons!#sonic headcanons#silver the hedgehog#sonic headcanon sunday
