Doppelganger | TEKE::TEKE

The idea for the music of this song was influenced by '60s Okinawan psychedelic rock music, '70s Japanese pop ballads, and our love for the beautiful arrangements of music by Serge Gainsbourg and Jean-Claude Vanier. The song wasn’t initially written for TEKE::TEKE per se, it was just an idea I had… but when I showed the skeleton of the song to Maya, she immediately felt inspired and started writing. The song’s lyrics touch on themes of duality, identity, and nostalgia.

Horse figure of the day: Frida Horses "Derma"

a little late to the horse discussion but as a horse enthusiast i think machete would so easily translate into an arabian. the pronounced, thin snout, the beady eyes. i cant decide if vasco should lean more towards a race horse breed like a thoroughbred or maybe a dressage breed like a dutch warmblood, i think either fit his vibe well

noh, meikäfani meni hänen perässään espoon teatteriin katsomaan minna craucher -musikaalia. se sijoittuu suomen historiaan 1920-30 lukujen taitteeseen ja seurailee craucherin hahmon kautta sen ajan taidetta ja politiikkaa. Miikon yksi rooleista oli Olavi Paavolainen, vasemmistolainen runoilija joka halusi tuoda uusia kansainvälisiä tuulia suomalaisen taiteen kentälle ainaisen perämehtäläisyyden sijaan.

Mistä seurasi se että Miiko lauloi suoraan minua päin syyttävän vihaisesti tämän lainin, ja vain ja ainoastaan tämän yhden lainin:

"TÄÄLLÄ ROMANTISOIDAAN TUKKIJÄTKIÄ!!"

ja jatkoi sitten laulua muihin suuntiin ikään kuin ei olisi juuri pistänyt minua oikosulkuun kun eri todellisuudet romahtivat kasaan ja fanittamani musikaalitähti syytti minua synnistä joka on reissumies/koskenlaskija fanficin kirjoittaminen

But by god I really think the Akhal Teke has the best overall proportions for a kelpie

But also imagine a kelpie the size of a shire horse or a sampson
