Didn’t quite finish Scorpio Races before the end of November. It’s one of my favorite books, and I 100% picture the Water Horses as Akhal Tekes with how gazelle like their bodies are, but especially because of their hooded eyes. It would be pretty easy to imagine fangs in those mouths.

But by god I really think the Akhal Teke has the best overall proportions for a kelpie

Well Peeps today I bring you the Golden Buckskin and Cremello Akhal-Teke! Akhal-Teke; a Turkmen horse breed, from Turkmenistan Teke tribe, also known as Desert Horse is one of oldest and most beautiful breeds. Since ancient times, they have a reputation for speed and endurance, intelligence, and a distinctive metallic sheen. Shiny coat of breed led to their nickname, "Golden Horses".

History of Akhal Teke horses dates back to 5000 BC. Due to its elegance and beauty, it is referred to as "Horses of Paradise" or "Golden Horses of Persia" and "Flying Wings of Nusay."
