IDW plot where Surge ends up fighting Tails, gets finally pushed by someone's "Be my friend not my enemy" talk no jitsu because Tails is like a happier and more positive version of Kit, then she turns from charmed to calmed to horrified when Tails suffers a seizure from her electrofrying the hell out of him a few minutes ago. Cause think of it like this, even after getting him help, Sonic and Co would Know if electrocution had been the cause for Tails' condition and thus Surge would've had the blame no question, and Sonic himself would have been PISSED. Like, actually pissed cause he can excuse a lot of things, but he can't excuse that, Tails is his little buddy! Plus he warned Surge on the fr when she first joined that mess around too much and he'd get her ah. And Surge could feel legitimately sorry and hope that Tails is ok, but Kit? The little bastard that he is would be so Ecstatic because he fucking hates Tails.

He'd congratulate his bestie on zapping Tails up like a Christmas tree, but would be completely thrown for a loop if he found out that Surge was actually concerned and sorry for what she did. He'd even be Jealous if he knew they'd had a heart to heart beforehand because he'd feel like Surge was going to replace him like that water bending psycho has no confidence. Stuff like That could kick off a Kit villain arc for sure.
