#teeny bit of jiang yanli
jiangwanyinscatmom · 2 years
Note
Why do people like LXC? Isn’t he a bit milquetoast?
That's a big word anon, and honestly my brain is teeny and took me a bit that you were not calling him milky soppy bread...
I wouldn't say he's necessarily insipid, as that would have to mean he is very lacking in any sort of charm or warmth which he is known for. But, he is a passive kind character that doesn't push for confrontation. I don't think that's necessarily a flaw in his personality or a negative against it, but, only the way he hesitates is what does him in. Being non-confrontational is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact Wei Wuxian has a soft spot for those types himself, as he finds Lan Xichen and Jiang Yanli pleasant.
Now is this a decent way to be a leader? No, of course not, being soft and being a leader don't coincide very well, realistically and having to deal with the ugly nasty and vile parts of politics. As they say, no good politician is clean, and if they are, they have no clout in politics to change anything.
He is a good friend. A kind brother. But that doesn't MEAN he understands everything or get whatever others always want from him, or if he is competent in all his choices. But, he's kind, and respectful, if bad at really seeing the real underneath a person. Call it coping badly. But, given how he was raised to hide the ugly parts of his personal relationships, I can't fault him as a human, since it is horribly and sadly relatable.
Humans make mistakes when they do not stand up, a lot of us don't stand up for what is right when we should, or, when we are adamant that we definitely do and have. I think that's the part of Lan Xichen that gets hated the most. We hate what we see in ourselves. Harsh judge of character always comes to the self when your stupidity is thrown so blatantly in your face and it's too late to act for the better.
But, do not judge others for mistakes you can make as well, is the lesson of his character and Wei Wuxian's own observations of him.

Shapeshifting!au p.2
Animal forms were an open secret, a legendary enigma. Everyone knew the tales of the heavenly peoples, who came down to earth to share cultivation with the humans. They used their power to take on human likeness so as to be able to better teach and relate to those living in the earthly realm - even as their true likeness reflected the elements they drew strength from.
Mostly, the heavenly visitors passed on their knowledge and then re-ascended to live out thousands of years in their realm of relative peace and balance. Some though - it was said, stayed. They joined the sects their followers created, fell in love, and added to their numbers. The dragons of Gusu, the great beasts of Qinghe, the tortoises of Yunmeng, the firebirds of Qishan, the tigers of Lanling. Some, it was said, stayed to wander the earth forever, hiding in plain sight.
Legends and reality rarely crossed, however. Most folk hardly even remembered more than the five great sects and those within the cultivation world kept their strengths even more closely hidden than their weaknesses.
In private, shapeshifting was a thing to take pride in - to practice to perfection. Full shifting was rarely used out in the field, but even partial attributes could be the difference between success and failure on a nighthunt. Madame Yu made mercilessly sure Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian remembered this.
To the public, she was the Violet Spider - supposedly for her violent temper and long-reaching lightning. Those who truly knew her well understood that the hidden danger of her moniker was that the fox shifter was only one tail away from immortality.
Jiang Cheng, who took after his mother rather than his patient father, had laughed when he’d first learned of Wei Ying’s fear of dogs.
“How can you be afraid of what you are?” He’d scoffed. “You can’t be my shixiong if you’re going to be afraid of me too.”
Still bitter and sad about having to give up his spiritual companions, the young boy hadn’t listened, no matter how many times a young Wei Ying had shouted, “that’s different!” He’d sobered that night when he and Jiang Yanli had to search for their new brother, when the fox’s dull and listless fur - nothing like the glossy orange of his own nor the gray of his mother’s - did little to hide the myriad of bite and claw marks littering his small body.
Dogs hunted wild foxes, his sister reminded him.
From there on out, Jiang Cheng vowed not to let another dog near his adoptive brother - even after that coat grew shiny and black as the night night sky - even after Wei Ying earned two tails to Jiang Cheng’s one and he realized that having a brother also meant an ongoing competition he never agreed to participate in.
Perhaps it was because of this that Wei Ying - recently named Wuxian, trusted Jiang Cheng with his most precious secret.
“This is all I have left of her.” The twelve-year-old gently ran his fingers along the soft edges of the feather as they sat on the roof. In the dim light of the lanterns below, Jiang Cheng could just make out the soft brown spots that patterned the tip. He knew nothing about birds, but the shape of it looked important - nothing like the fluffy down feathers ducks liked to leave behind on the surface of Lotus Pier’s numerous lakes.
“It’s beautiful.” He said, then immediately wished he hadn’t.
Wei Wuxian’s stupid lack of filter was rubbing off on him, just like mother said. His shixiong just turned to him with a wistful smile, though, apparently content enough to not take this prime opportunity to tease him for being soft.
“Thanks. She was… at least. I think.” He went quiet for a moment. Jiang Cheng sure as hell wasn’t going to try and fill the gap. He’d already embarrassed himself enough and this felt important. “It’s funny, sometimes I can’t remember what her face looked like, but every time I look into the sky my mind tells me all the ways a bird’s silhouette is different from hers.”
And what the hell was Jiang Cheng supposed to say to that? His own parents, though constantly arguing (or being yelled at and then not actually yelling back, but certainly not making things better), were still alive. He didn’t need to memorize their faces, or the shape of their words, or which tea they liked best in the morning.
Thankfully, A-Jie came out to gently chide them for climbing and staying out so late. By the time she coaxed them down from the pavilion roof, both the feather and Wei Wuxian’s strange, contemplative mood had been hidden away.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Wen Ruohan leaves him alone for two weeks.
In theory, it’s great. Wei Wuxian has all the time in the world to clean his feathers, set about finding the perfect roost in the room, shit on anything that looks vaguely important (barring the man himself), peck at his fetter in an attempt to figure out how exactly it works. He hasn’t been alone long enough to be able to see if he can change forms or not, but he sets his mind to testing just about every other limit.
Unfortunately, being ignored means that while there is an absence of violence, there is also an absence of anything even vaguely resembling help.
Bathroom breaks aren’t a problem - for the aforementioned reason. (In fact, if he can manage to shit on a person, Wen Ruohan often actually laughs. It makes it a little less satisfying, but often the victims are annoying enough in their own right to deserve it).
Food is also, technically, not a worry. It’s there...but Wen Ruohan made it very clear that in order to receive any, Wei Wuxian either has to attempt to make a mad dash to grab it directly from the man’s plate...or eat it from his hand. Like some kind of pet.
Wei Wuxian spent two months in the burial grounds eating rotting corpses and the occasional sickly rodent. He would literally rather starve than be docile to this man, and he’s got plenty of practice.
And then Xue Yang shows up, solving several of Wei Wuxian’s problems at once.
For one, he’s a talkative asshole. So for the first time since he was captured in Lotus Pier, Wei Wuxian gets a fractured picture of how the Sunshot Campaign is actually affecting the Wens. For another, he’s an irreverent little shit - and for some reason, Wen Ruohan likes him. Wei Wuxian suspects that it’s probably because he’s also useful (though he legitimately throws up a little bit when the teen talks about Wei Wuxian’s demonic cultivation like he’s a fan or something).
The idiot makes an attempt to befriend - or at least talk at Wei Wuxian from where he’s perched on a wooden bust of Wen Chao (he’s made it his mission to make it as accurate as possible to the man’s last living days) and Wei Wuxian takes great pleasure in biting the hand Xue Yang stick too close to him. Wen Ruohan outright laughs at the exchange until the delinquent sulks out muttering an impressive list of curses.
And Wei Wuxian thinks, ‘huh, I can work with that.’

I’m in the mood for a fic where…
Hullo darlings!  Here’s another one to test the limits of your recall!  I still have about 10 requests in my inbox that didn’t make it onto this post, so be patient if you don’t see your Ask here.
[My ko-fi.]
~*~
1. Hello! I hope you or your readers can help me find a particular kind of fic: I'm looking for modern AU Wangxian stories, but what I'd really like to see are scenarios that can show the modern equivalent of the great Hanguangjun (or THE Chief Cultivator, y'know, for CQL) going all soft because if this one person and indulging him in everything even publicly. I go feral for this super important and respected person showing all his love for his dearest gremlin, without shame or restraint.

2. Hello, recently I read Crack Me Open, Pour You Out by Tenillypo where LWJ is cursed to say everything out loud. (Spoiler: in the later part the curse worsens and LWJ's inhibitions are lowered and he starts to do things like sniffing WWX and touching him without shame). Do you know any fics where LWJ has specifically for some reason lowered inhibitions? I read fics where he gets cursed to have to say thoughts out loud or need to touch, but not specifically dealing with lowered inhibitions.

The Usefulness of Bunnies as Messengers is Strictly Dependant on the Bunny in Question
My @lockdownfest fic!
Wei Wuxian was
So.
Bored.
Of this lockdown.
The first few days had been fun, with a break from school and Jiang Cheng to game with, getting groceries in mad dashes and building an elaborate fort out of cleaning supplies.
But that was three weeks ago.
Jiang Cheng's patience for Wei Wuxian had worn thinner and thinner as the walls of their apartment had gotten closer and closer, trapping them in together.
Now Jiang Cheng had locked himself in his room to get away from him.
Wei Wuxian tried to give him space. He did. He ate breakfast by himself and watched Netflix with his headphones like a socially conscious person. But as the hours passed and Jiang Cheng still didn’t want to talk to him, his resolve started to flag.
When he couldn’t stand it any longer he tiptoed up to Jiang Cheng’s door and knocked softly.
Jiang Cheng said nothing.
Wei Wuxian put his face to the crack of the door. “Jiang Cheng?” He whispered.
Still nothing.
Louder this time, “Jiang Cheng? Do you want to do something?”
There was a frustrated sigh from the other side of the door. Then, just as Wei Wuxian was about to ask again, music started blaring.
Wei Wuxian jumped back. “Hey! I just wanted to know if you wanted to hang out! I’m so bored, Jiang Cheng!”
The music got louder. Wei Wuxian pouted and collapsed dramatically against the door, hand thrown over his head, eyes closed.
He stayed there for a moment, waiting, but Jiang Cheng still didn’t come out.
He opened an eye.
The apartment was exactly the same as it had been all day.
He was about to close his eyes again when he caught a flash of white outside the kitchen window.
He ran over to see what was happening.
Out the window, there was a white bunny. It was eating the plants YanLi gave them when they moved in, it’s little nose twitching.
Trying not to disturb it, he moved closer, lowering himself to be eye level with it. The bunny turned to look at him.
For a moment, they stared at each other, then the bunny hopped off the planter.
Wei Wuxian rose up to look out the window properly and gasped.
The whole street was covered in white bunnies.
Some of them were eating the plants in decorative plant boxes, while others hopped around, looking for grass in the sidewalk cracks.
Wei Wuxian breathed out. “What the hell?”
The bunnies did not seem to be inclined to answer his question.
And then, with a laugh, he recognised them. They were the bunnies who lived in the green space by the train station, the ones who tourists loved to feed. With no one coming into the city, they must’ve gotten hungry and gone to look for food.
Poor little things. So hungry, and only sidewalk grass and decorative kale to eat. It’s no way to live.
“Do you mind if I use some of the carrots?” He called to Jiang Cheng.
The music got even louder.
Wei Wuxian grabbed a couple of carrots from the big bag they’d gotten at the store. Carefully, he chopped them into bunny-bite-sized pieces, making up new lyrics to Jiang Cheng’s music. “Little bun buns, tiny little bunnies, you’re all hungry hungry hungry little buns, but I’ve got some teeny tiny carrots for your itty bitty stomachs.’
He went to open the door, then paused. Jiang Cheng’s music was still playing. If Wei Wuxian were a bunny, he would not be inclined to stay near a place with so much noise.
He grabbed Jiang Cheng's headphones from the table and opened his door, throwing them at him. “You win, but come see what I’ve found—“ Jiang Cheng cut him off with a glare, then connected his headphones and turned back to his computer.
Wei Wuxian threw up his hands and backed away.
With the apartment now silent, he closed Jiang Cheng’s door and grabbed the carrots.
He went to the front door and carefully opened it. Sitting on their welcome mat was a bunny. It looked up at him.
Wei Wuxian immediately dropped down to say hi, giving it a carrot. The bunny munched away at it with gusto.
The curtains in the house across the street moved slightly. He looked up to find his neighbour watching the bunnies with great interest.
He had an idea.
Saying goodbye to the bunny, he ran inside and grabbed a pen and paper.
hey neighbour! how are things across the street? you have enough toilet paper? any drama?
He found a ribbon and went back to the door, folding the note several times to make it as small as possible. He picked up the bunny and tied the note to it best he could with the bunny wriggling around in his hands.
Once the note was on, he showed it the carrot. The bunny strained to get it.
“Okay little bun bun, this is for you, but you have to go over there to get it.” He made sure the bunny was watching, then threw the carrot so that it hit his across-the-street neighbour’s door. As soon as he set the bunny down it hopped over to get it.
He threw another carrot, hitting the door hard enough to make a sound.
His neighbour opened the door, frowned at the bunny, and untied the note.
Wei Wuxian smiled and waved.
His neighbour turned his frown at him and disappeared inside.
Wei Wuxian sighed and leaned against the door. His neighbour was gorgeous, and it felt unbearably unfair that he had to separate from the world when people like that existed in it.
He threw himself on the couch and checked his phone. His phone told him that all the news was still happening all the time. Things are shit, it let him know.
He put it away.
There was a single knock at the door and he leapt off the couch to open it. The bunny was back, chewing on a fancy purple carrot and wearing a new ribbon decorated with little clouds.
Wei Wuxian went into paroxysms of glee, picking it up and dancing around with the bunny on the doorstep. Out of the corner of his eye, he thought he saw his neighbour watching from the window, but when he turned to look no one was there.
He gave the bunny a few more pets and put it down so he could read his note.
You should not torment the rabbits and force them to carry things for you.
Wei Wuxian laughed out loud. He wrote back, you’re doing it too. and we’re both paying it with food, so I think it’s getting a good deal. what are you doing on this lovely quarantined day?
He threw another carrot for the bunny, and it hopped over to his neighbour’s door. A few minutes later it came back.
 I am reading.
This time, when he untied the note, his neighbour is definitely watching him. Wei Wuxian winked at him.
that’s pretty clever neighbour! I am just barely surviving, my life seems meaningless without other people, my brother has forsaken me and now refuses to leave his room. You are my new shining light in this terrible darkness.
His neighbour gave him a flat look.
Dramatic.
Wei Wuxian turned the note over.
My name is Lan Wangji.
hello Lan Wangji, I am Wei Wuxian! my life is actually sorely missing drama at the moment, because I have no one to talk to except you, and so you must be my entertainment
(ps i have named the bun bun Sizhui)
Boring.
how’s this for boring — a blue whale mother’s milk is the consistency of toothpaste because of the high fat content.
also, are you quarantining with anyone? or are you on your lonesome too?
My brother is staying with my uncle for now.
At this point Sizhui had clearly had his fill of carrots and hopped off. Wei Wuxian looked around to see if anyone was watching, then darted out to catch him.
“No, no, Sizhui, you can’t be done just yet, I still have to send more messages to Lan Wangji.” He bopped Sizhui on the nose.
Sizhui sneezed.
Wei Wuxian looked past him and saw Lan Wangji standing at his window. His face was stoic, but it almost looked like he was shaking with suppressed laughter. Wei Wuxian danced around with Sizhui a little bit more. Lan Wangji’s lips were pressed together, but his eyes were laughing. He saw Wei Wuxian looking at him and schooled his expression.
Wei Wuxian thought it was the darlingest thing he’d ever seen. He went back inside.
Oh, Lan Wangji you are so cute when you laugh! (I’m not spying on you, I swear, I can just see into your kitchen from my window. It’s right there, when I look out.)
The sun had started to set when he got his response.
Did not think you were spying.
Sizhui hopped under the stoop and curled up, refusing to come back no matter how much Wei Wuxian cajoled him.
He looked across to Lan Wangji in the light in the kitchen and shrugged, mouthing tomorrow.
Lan Wangji nodded.
Inside, Wei Wuxian collapsed on the couch. “Oh Jiang Cheng, I’ve met the most amazing person today!”
Jiang Cheng was passing through with his dinner plate. “What person? We’re not allowed to go out, Wei Wuxian, did you break quarantine? I swear to god—“
“I did not!” Wei Wuxian retorted. “We met through the bunnies.”
Jiang Cheng just looked at him. “I never understand you when you talk.”
He left with his dinner.
Wei Wuxian smiled up at the ceiling, thinking of Lan Wangji and how cute he had been, trying not to laugh and the gentle way he was with Sizhui. He wanted to burst with fondness.
The next day, he woke up early (for him) and saw Sizhui sitting on the doorstep. He greeted the little bunny like a departed relative, exclaiming over him and raising him up to the sky. The bunny protested this, so Wei Wuxian sat him on the kitchen table with some carrots in apology.
He grabbed his pen. good morning Lan Wangji, how are you today? I thought of you all last night, I missed you!
He tied the note to Sizhui and tossed a carrot for him. Then he tossed a few more to make sure Lan Wangji was awake.
Lan Wangji opened the door and looked down at Sizhui with a soft smile. It killed Wei Wuxian, the gentleness of it, transforming his face from beautiful but untouchable to dazzling.
Lan Wangji looked up from Sizhui to Wei Wuxian, that same smile still around his eyes.
Wei Wuxian called out, “Did I wake you?”
“I wake up every morning at 5.”
Wei Wuxian’s jaw dropped. “Are you serious?”
The last vestiges of Lan Wangji’s smile disappeared and he nodded.
Wei Wuxian missed it immediately. “That’s good for you! I sleep in because I have not conquered my need for it, as you have!”
Lan Wangji softened slightly and went inside with Sizhui.
Wei Wuxian decided it was time for breakfast. He grabbed a yogurt from the fridge and hummed happily to himself.
Jiang Cheng came into the kitchen. “Why are you making such a racket so early, please don’t make the neighbours hate us."
“I was talking to Lan Wangji, a neighbour, so the neighbours can’t complain! It’s neighbourhood bonding!”
There was the sound of a carrot hitting the door. Wei Wuxian jumped up and found Sizhui, tucking him under his arm and pulling out the note.
Jiang Cheng just looked at him, jaw clenched. “Is that a wild rabbit?”
Wei Wuxian grinned. “Yes! This is Sizhui! Isn’t he the cutest?”
Jiang Cheng closed his eyes. “I don’t even want to know.” He took his cereal and left, slamming his bedroom door.
Wei Wuxian opened his note. You sleep as you want. I wake up at 5 because I always have.
He wrote back. you must be very disciplined! that must be so helpful during quarantine! I feel I lose more of my mind everyday. I just want to talk to people but my brother ignores me!
He waited outside to watch Lan Wangji with Sizhui. He read the note and gave Wei Wuxian a flat look, then went inside. He was back within a minute.
The next note read, You can talk to me.
He was seized with an indescribable fondness. It was a warm day and the sun had risen, shining down on Lan Wangji. Wei Wuxian watched him turn into it, a tiny hint of a smile playing at his eyes.
He sighed.
Sizhui, probably frustrated at Wei Wuxian and the way he wasn’t giving Sizhui any carrots and instead staring at Lan Wangji like a lovesick fool, abandoned Wei Wuxian’s doorstep and hopped over to Lan Wangji, sniffing at his shoe hopefully.
Surprised, Lan Wangji looked down and carefully picked him up.
Wei Wuxian leaned against his doorframe, just watching them, happy. Lan Wangji and Sizhui matched, both in white with little ribbons, and he chuckled under his breath.
Lan Wangji turned, watching Wei Wuxian back.
Wei Wuxian blushed.
For a moment they watched each other, sun-warm and soft, the city quiet, no cars, no people, only them.
The peace was broken by Jiang Cheng, who came out of his room to put his bowl in the sink.  Wei Wuxian turned to see what he was doing, and when he turned back Lan Wangji and Sizhui were gone.
He joined Jiang Cheng in the kitchen, grabbing a handful of lotus seeds as a snack. He looked out the window and saw Lan Wangji in his own kitchen with Sizhui perched on his shoulder. Lan Wangji seemed to be cutting up more carrots.
Wei Wuxian watched them, munching on seeds.
Suddenly, Sizhui leapt off Lan Wangji’s shoulder. He flinched and his mouth opened, as if in pain.
Wei Wuxian jumped up.
Lan Wangji went down, disappearing from the window.
“Oh, fuck!” Wei Wuxian swore, grabbing his phone and running to find the first aid kit. “Jiang Cheng, I’ll be right back!”
“What?” Shouted Jiang Cheng.
Wei Wuxian flung open the door, looked back and forth to make sure no one was watching him leave his house, and darted across to Lan Wangji’s door.
He knocked, then, worried, tried the handle. It was open. He burst in, shouting “Lan Wangji!”
He found Lan Wangji sitting on the floor, cradling his hand. Sizhui was on the floor, eating a carrot. Lan Wangji looked up in shock. “Wei Wuxian?”
“I saw you get hurt and was worried!”
"You should not have come. I am fine. There is a quarantine, you can’t just leave your house.”
Wei Wuxian nodded in agreement but came closer and sat in front of Lan Wangji.
Lan Wangji went quiet, and Wei Wuxian gently pulled his hand out so they could look at the cut properly. There was a lot of blood, running down his palm and staining the white of Lan Wangji’s cuffs. Wei Wuxian whistled lowly.
He let go of Lan Wangji’s hand and opened his kit. He took out the alcohol wipes and carefully set about cleaning the cut.
Lan Wangji sat there stoically, letting Wei Wuxian maneuver his arm as needed.
Once the worst of the blood was gone, it was clear that the cut was not as bad as Wei Wuxian had worried it was. He let out a sigh of relief. “Look Lan Wangji, you won’t lose your beautiful hand after all, isn’t that wonderful? It’s probably because of my quick intervention, so really it’s lucky that I was brave enough to break quarantine, if you think about it.”
Lan Wangji just looked at him.
Gently and oh-so-delicately, Wei Wuxian bandaged his hand. Once he was done he pressed a kiss to the spot where the cut was, keeping eye contact with Lan Wangji. The bandage tickled his lips.
“There, all better,” Wei Wuxian whispered.
Lan Wangji deflated, his eyes fluttering closed.
Wei Wuxian pulled his bandaged hand, laying it on his heart, letting Lan Wangji feel the way it was racing. He leaned in and placed a barely there kiss on Lan Wangji’s lips.
Beneath him, Lan Wangji was perfectly still.
Wei Wuxian’s heart dropped and he pulled away, embarrassed. “I’m sorry. I guess I’ll go back to mine now.”
He started to turn away, but Lan Wangji slipped his hand around Wei Wuxian’s neck and pulled him back into a messy kiss.
“Stay with me, Wei Wuxian.”
Wei Wuxian laughed and kissed his cheek. “Of course. Of course I will.”

Note
I'd like to inform you that I just watched the entirety of the untamed in six days while trying to simultaneously read the novel (I'm currently at chapter 70). I'm maybe a bit obsessed. Just a little bit. A teenie tiny bit. Anyways, hope you have a great day!! :')
YASSSSSSSSS
ANOTHER DOMINO HAS FALLEN
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Check out my Untamed page @wuxian-vs-wangji, yesterday and this morning I reblogged something that will distress you:: Lan Qiren in a tank top showing off his VERY WELL DEFINED PECS, and then him dancing. A mix of silly and kinda sexy dances.
The brain breaks in Untamed now rank::
Wang Yibo (Lan Wangji) is a rapper, dancer, championship winning motorcycle racer, and former k-pop star in real life.
Lan Xichen and Lan Jingyi’s actors are the same age. Born 2 weeks apart.
Lan Qiren is apparently built af and loves to dance.
Wang Zhuo Cheng (Jiang Cheng) is an absolute ray of sunshine IRL, like, he makes Xuan Lu (Jiang Yanli) look goth.
Madam Yu’s actress is only a year older than Xuan Lu (Jiang Yanli).

Woah holy fuck, rewatching cql with a friend and just noticing the show totally blew up every (obvious) ship except wangxian.
Jiang Cheng and Wen Qing - dead in the waters. It's not a very popular pair but honestly I like it. Jiang Cheng's life was a mess and so was Wen Qing's but they could've been good together. Too bad they each had too much on their shoulders.... :(
Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan - if you didn't cry for them you're probably dead inside. Or you're Xue Yang.
Xiao Xingchen and Xue Yang - that shit was fucked up from the start but hell I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel just a teeny bit bad for Xue Yang at the end. Sympathy for the devil and all that.
Jin Guangyao and Lan Xichen - the last two episodes were basically their divorce of the century. Wangxian, wangxian who? Jgy asked lxc to die with him and Lxc was actually willing to go through with it had Jgy not shoved him out of danger last minute. That broke the man. Honestly.
Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan - yeah. No words needed.
Sidenote: I know a lot of ppl ship jingyi and sizhui, or xichen and jiang cheng. I personally don't. The potential is there and they're still alive so that's a plus haha.
