Michael Jackson featuring Slash - Give In to Me 1993
"Give In to Me" is a song by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson, released as the seventh single from his eighth studio album, Dangerous (1991). Released in February 1993 - in Europe, Australia and New Zealand only - the song peaked at number one in New Zealand for four consecutive weeks and at number two on the UK Singles Chart. The track was written and produced by Jackson and Bill Bottrell, and features Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash. Stylistically, "Give In to Me" is a hard rock and heavy metal ballad.
The music video features Jackson performing the song on stage at an indoor rock concert with ex Living Colour bassist Muzz Skillings, Guns N' Roses guitarists Slash and Gilby Clarke, as well as the band's touring keyboardist Teddy Andreadis and legendary session drummer Tony Thompson. It was shot on June 25, 1992, in Munich, Germany, just two days before the opening concert of the Dangerous World Tour.
The album Dangerous debuted at number one on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart and in thirteen other countries, selling 5 million copies worldwide in its first week and went on to be the best-selling album worldwide of 1992. By 1994 Dangerous had sold 25 million copies worldwide. It was certified 8× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in August 2018.
"Give In to Me" received a total of 77,1% yes votes! Previous Michael Jackson polls: #45 "Will You Be There", #114 "Why", #220 "Blame It on the Boogie". Previous polls featuring Slash: #159 "I'm Just Ken".

hiii! can you write dating corpse hc please? thank you❤️
Of course, darling! Hope you enjoy 💕
Pairing: Corpse Husband x Reader (Gender Neutral)
Warnings: Mentions of anxiety/anxious tendencies, Swearing, Mentions of panic attacks
Genre: Fluff, Romance, Comfort, RPF (Real Person Fic)
Corpse, as we all know, is a very private person
All his life he's convinced himself it's more convenient to be single than fall for someone only for it along with him as a person to fall apart when it wouldn't work out
He's been used to relationships not working out all his life
And sadly had the same outlook when he met you
But, you were his reason to believe in happy endings after all
Well, not exactly endings since the two of you are still going strong
Here are just some of the things that have helped it be that way
Ordering for him at drive-thrus
Keeping the relationship on the downest of lows
Being in the room with him while he streams to keep him company and keep him feeling safe and calm
Listening to him filming horror story narrations (which easily put you to sleep)
Being there for him through the toughest nights and brightest days
Making him smile even when tears are running down his cheeks
Turning him into the cuddliest teddy bear
And getting used to being treated like the only important person in the world
Because that’s exactly how Corpse treats you
He never misses an opportunity to express his love to you and shower you with his adorable gestures of affection
And that’s why the two of you are relationship goals

Slash anuncia el LP de covers de blues repleto de estrellas 'Orgy of the Damned'
Tumblr media

Slash on The Howard Stern Show
A complete (to my knowledge) list of all the times Slash was a guest or a caller on Howard Stern's radio and television shows.
I compiled this list using YouTube, a-4-d.com, and the Internet Archive. I'll update it if I find anything new, and if any of you have any leads for me (or if you can suggest a good place to look for content) please let me know!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1992, April 29 – Slash's first time talking to Howard Stern. He calls in from Hawaii, where he's poolside and obviously drinking. They talk about the usual: band drama and women, and at the end a mutual acquaintance calls in and it turns into a bit of a mess.
audio & transcript (24 minutes)
1992, April 30 – Slash calls in again the next day (more sober this time), he talks about the L.A. Riots and a dramatic incident involving himself, Duff, and Sam Kinison, a comedian and a friend of his who recently passed away.
audio & transcript (incomplete, 15 minutes)
1995, February 1 – Slash and Eric Dover visit to promote It's Five O'Clock Somewhere. Among other things, Howard asks about Slash's wife, his mom, his new navel piercing, and of course Axl, then Slash and Eric perform Beggars and Hangers On acoustically.
video & transcript (40 minutes)
performance video
1996, September 30 – An intern is introduced to Slash, Howard asks about the state of GNR, and about Slash's mom and his first wife, then they listen to Obsession Confession, a track Slash wrote for a movie.
audio & transcript (35 minutes)
1997, February 25 – Slash phones in to briefly talk about how he spent his evening with Teddy Andreadis in L.A., and about working on Slash's Blues Ball.
audio & transcript (7 minutes)
1997, March 7 – A recording from the premiere of Howard's movie, Private Parts, in which Slash and his then-wife Renee have a cameo. Slash seems a little intoxicated, but as Howard says, you can never tell with Slash...
audio & transcript (10 minutes)
2000, June 7 – Slash talks about leaving GNR, his romantic life post-divorce, and his second Snakepit album Ain't Life Grand.
audio & transcript (10 minutes)
2001, September 7 – While in New York for Michael Jackson's 30th Anniversary Celebration, Slash visits Howard in the studio and dishes on his first divorce, his health, and Axl's version of GNR. He's sober (-ish, after his cardiac myopathy diagnosis) and rather forthcoming.
audio & transcript (incomplete, 14 minutes)
2004, May 24 – Velvet Revolver visits the studio, they mostly talk about Scott, and drugs, and Scott on drugs, then perform an acoustic version of Slither.
audio & transcript (45 minutes)
video (edited, 20 minutes)
performance video
2007, November 1 – Slash is in the studio to promote his autobiography; he shares a little more dirt than usual, including discussions of his wild upbringing, threesomes (in way too much detail!), and the possible existence of nude photos.
audio & transcript (1 hour)
audio (Archive, 1 hour starting at about 1:31:00)
audio (YouTube, 1 hour)
2012, May 22 – On the day that Slash released Apocalyptic Love, he visits Howard in the studio to discuss top hats, his feud with Axl, his falling-out with Scott Weiland, reality TV, and Nirvana.
audio (1 hour starting at about 55:00)
video clip (6 minutes)
2014, September 16 – Slash, Myles Kennedy, and The Conspirators visit the studio, Slash talks to Howard about songwriting and interacting with other rock stars, Myles talks about jamming with Led Zeppelin, and the band performs World On Fire.

A record a day keeps the blues away
Fazit:
Walter Trout released his brand new studio album Ordinary Madness on August 28th on Provogue.
The new studio album contains eleven thoroughly honest songs that were written before the Corona crisis, but still hit the nerve of the time. "There's a lot of extraordinary madness going on right now," says Walter Trout about the COVID 19 crisis. "This album began because I was concerned with the mistakes and the weakness in me. But in the end it was about all of them."
Walter Trout's formative blues influences range from Paul Butterfield's self-titled debut (1965) alongside Mike Bloomfield to John Mayall's LP Beano" (1966) with Eric Clapton.
Walter Trout brought his band together with Michael Leasure (drums), Johnny Griparic (bass) and Teddy "Zig Zag" Andreadis (keyboard) as well as long-time producer Eric Corne and guests Skip Edwards, Drake "Munkihaid" Shining and Anthony Grisham. The whole thing was recorded in the private LA studio of Doors legend Robby Krieger.
On this album, Trout did things a little differently than usual. Led by an electronic intro created by eldest son Jon Trout, the song starts with a hypnotic groove and a wonderfully slow guitar break.
Musically, the psychedelically layered vocal harmonies of The Sun Is Going Down are about dealing with aging. The anthem of Up Above My Sky is reminiscent of Pink Floyd, and All Out of Tears he worked with the US blues singer Teeny Tucker. The lyrics to the haunting Heaven In Your Eyes were written by Marie Trout.
Conclusion:
Despite his almost 70 years, Walter Trout proves with the album "Ordinary Madness" how contemporary blues must look like. His tangled and broken voice stands out pleasantly against the polished recordings. He is not a mainstream bluesman, but that's what makes the album so special.
1. Ordinary Madness
2. Wanna Dance
3. My Foolish Pride
4. Heartland
5. All Out Of Tears
6. Final Curtain Call
7. Heaven In Your Eyes
8. The Sun Is Going Down
9. Make It Right
10. Up Above My Sky
11. OK Boomer

Gut gemacht Slash.

“We’re thrilled to release this graphic novel,” says Editor-In-Chief Travis McIntire. “With an incredible creative team, featuring real-life rockstars like Bud, J.D.  and Teddy, who are basically already walking talking comic book characters, this book

Regular UK tours by Walter Trout are a much-loved addition to the busy blues calendar. Like clockwork, and with his warm personable nature registering with everyone he plays for, a Walter Trout UK tour brings out the seasoned veterans in force., especially the one in the front, who Walter singles out for special attention as it’s their 55th gig. Trout has such a special connection with his fans, and the fact that he is standing on stage in a wet and windy Glasgow in 2018, pays testament to this.
Before the headliner took to the stage and rendered everyone into a bunch of slack-jawed wrecks, we had the small matter of tonight’s opening act, Wille & The Bandits. The Cornish trio look at home sharing the same stage as a Blues legend. Essentially a blues-rock power trio, but with a penchant for stretching out and developing more of an experimental, rather than a traditional, sound.
Vocalist/guitarist Wille Edwards seems so familiar. He reminds me of Chris Cornell; the look, the voice, the poise, all hint at the much missed legend. Cornell fronting a kick-ass trio, playing a mean slide guitar, before mixing it up with some wicked electric lap steel work. Comparing someone to Cornell might seem a tad overboard, there was only one Chris Cornell, and there will never be another Chris Cornell, but there is something about Edwards that triggers that spark of recognition within me. Edwards opts for a cool picking style that gives the songs (‘1970’ especially) a grittier, more organic feel, which, combined with some incendiary slide work, makes it impossible not to be bowled over. Then there are his band mates, and they’re no slouches either. Matt Brooks on the six string bass and drummer Andrew Naumann, dynamic and experimental players who brew up a sound that manages to be both unusual and familiar. Wille & The Bandits packed more into their short set than you might expect from a “support” band, leaving to a fantastic reaction. They mention that they will be back in March 2019 on their own headlining tour. Should be a belter.
Any review of a Walter Trout gig needs to begin by mentioning how it’s way more than just a gig. In 2018, a Walter Trout gig is a celebration of life, a shining example of the triumph of human spirit and sheer willpower, as well as the heartwarming connection between an artist and his fans. Watching the man himself peel off one incredible solo after another, and wring every ounce of emotion out of his battered Fender, photographer Dave uttered “He makes it look effortless”. Later on during his set, Walter would talk openly about how much work went in to make it look effortless.
The band take the stage without fanfare. No fuss, just four dudes ambling on and locking into a blues shuffle. What a band though! The über-cool Johnny Griparic is back, playing one of the most stunning bass guitars you’re likely to see. Long time drummer Michael Leasure is at the back, bringing the power and precision. Renowned keyboard player Teddy Andreadis has recently joined the band. You might know him as Teddy Zig Zag playing with GNR, a seasoned player who has also worked with names as varied as Carole King and Chuck Berry. Then there is the main man himself, Walter Trout. With a beaming smile as he nods to familiar faces in the crowd, he moves the mic stand back a few feet and plays alongside the others, rather than in front of him. A band in the truest sense of the word.
Walter Trout is a great communicator and a fantastic storyteller. He’s happy to be here, he’s “just happy to be anywhere!”. After a blistering first fifteen minutes, he takes time to pause and tease that the band have just finished a new album ‘Survivor Blues’, scheduled for release early 2019, and is going to play a song from it. As he is introducing ‘Me, My Guitar And The Blues’ a loud crackle starts to emit from an amp, so he adds the line “And a fucked up amp!” to the title. Crisis averted, it’s back to the music, and the band are off again. The last few years have been very prolific for Walter Trout and he shows no sign in letting up, so look out for more news about the new album very soon.
‘Battle Scars’ is the album that Trout wrote after his health battles, and he jokes with the crowd that by playing some of the material, he’s bringing the atmosphere down. Crippled by liver failure, and with seemingly no chance of survival, his life was saved due to a liver transplant funded by a fan campaign. Like I said, the bond between him and his fans goes above and beyond the normal. When talking about the battle back from the operation, spending many months in hospital, he mentions that he suffered brain damage and the subsequent struggle to re-learn everything, including talking, recognising everyone, and of course, re-learning the guitar. He jokes that he had to re-learn chords etc “like I was ten years old again”… ”So here’s the opening track from the album ‘Almost Gone!’” The album is also visited with the emotional ‘Please Take Me Home’ which he dedicates to his wife, Marie, for her unwavering love and support. Very, very emotional, and when it finishes, Walter turns to the band and says “you played that so fucking beautifully”.
Current album ‘We’re All In This Together’ is a stunning collaboration between Walter Trout and so many of his fellow blues players. He rattles off so many names that play on the album, before mentioning that he has a few special guests coming on.,, and on walk the Nimmo Brothers, King King’s Alan and his brother Stevie. Both are accomplished players, and obviously big fans of Walter Trout, as the massive smiles on their faces attest to. They strap on their guitars and steamroller through ‘Gonna Hurt Like Hell’, which featured Kenny Wayne Shepherd on the album. It’s a mutual appreciation society as Trout pays respect to them as “the most badass musicians”. They’re up there for about fifteen minutes, and both take their turn in the spotlight. There’s something very kin-like about blues guitarists. A family scenario that is often missing from other genres, and it’s a joy to witness.
It’s also a joy to witness Walter Trout’s tour manager Andrew Elt join him on stage for the last ten minutes or so, and raise the energy level. Elt has a fantastic voice and plays a mean guitar. Thee end result is an incredible jam that has them dancing in the aisles, at the bar, in the toilets… and no doubt outside vaping as well. After a brief run through of ‘Scotland The Brave’ and band solos, Walter pleads for more people to become organ donors, saying that he was still here “…because someone signed up” and “in a world that’s gone crazy, you can do something and make a difference”.
Walter Trout live on stage in 2018 – a celebration of life.

Michael Jackson Give InTo Me lyrics
Michael Jackson Give InTo Me lyrics "Give In to Me" is the tenth track on Michael Jackson's 1991 studio album Dangerous. The single peaked at number one in New Zealand for four consecutive weeks, and at number two on the UK Singles Chart. Stylistically, "Give In to Me" is a hard rock ballad which featured Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash.[1][2] Some suggest that the song, also considered a heavy metal ballad, has an aggressive sexual flavor.[3][4] The single was released in Europe only. The single release's B-sides include the album versions of "Dirty Diana" and "Beat It". This song is written in the key of E minor.[5] Jackson's vocal spans from G3 to B4.[5] It has a moderately slow tempo of 87 beats per minute "Give In to Me" received positive reviews from contemporary music critics. Entertainment Weekly editor David Browne praised Jackson's delivery, writing, "when his voice isn't competing with drum machines, it's menacing on the creepy Give In to Me (his best-ever shot at hard rock)."[6] Alan Light of Rolling Stone reviewed the song: "Give In to Me" flirts with something more disturbing as Jackson sings, "Don't try to understand me/Just simply do the things I say" in a grittier, throaty voice while Slash's guitar whips and soars behind him The music video for "Give In to Me"[8] features Jackson performing the song on stage at an indoor rock concert with ex Living Color bassist Muzz Skillings, Guns N' Roses guitarists Slash and Gilby Clarke, as well as the band's touring keyboardist Teddy Andreadis. Loud explosions are later heard with visuals of stylized electrical arcs and Jackson dancing as they run down his body. Slash's Les Paul is hit in the frets which increases the speed of the riffs. The last scene shows one electrical arc running down Jackson's body, an unintentional effect that was left in. The video is featured on the video albums: Dangerous - The Short Films and Michael Jackson's Vision.[9]
It was shot on June 25, 1992 in Munich, Germany, just two days before the opening concert of the Dangerous World Tour on June 27, 1992. The pyrotechnics appearing on the video are computer-generated and were added later on.
