Last Song: Call On Me - Bebe Rexha
Last Show: WWE: Raw
Currently Watching: Alex vs America, Next Level Chef, and Bob's Burgers. I'm also tuning into the recent WWE stuff, so, Raw, Smackdown and NXT - holla back 2000s, Cellar!!!
Currently Reading: Heiress in Red Silk - Madeline Hunter, Voices in the Snow - Darcy Coates (audiobook)
Current Obsession: It's sort of a mixed bag? Making B-15 Verity Willis basically broke me. The character has nothing to do with the character from the comics. Verity whole thing was knowing the truth, to the point that her name means truth. This would be like if Ted Raimi's character from the 2000s Spider-Man films was stated to be Harry Osborn. That would be dumb and pointless.
I was so mad because that was a space comic fans, but now you can't search for the character without being bombarded with series bullcrap. I truly do not understand what the point of it was. I haven't seen anyone who was a fan of AoA or Verity like that reveal. At best I have seen some begrudging acceptance.
and honestly, I get an ick from the whole thing. Because Verity is designed to be alternative, clearly written to be queer, someone who struggled being a part of the world and the series turns her into just an average and then apparently Deadpool doubles down on it and ends with her attract to man.
I die a little inside when this site squeals that the modern MCU is “JUST LIKE THE COMICS!” Mainly the people claiming the Loki series is just like AoA.
Anyone who says that have never read the comics and only seen like image comparisons and Easter egg lists

Take a shot every time we're confused! Jackie and Danielle from the No More Late Fees podcast join me to tackle the labyrinthine The Attic Expeditions (2001). We try to dissect this one but also end up chatting craft breweries, the joy of Seth Green and the tragedy that America doesn't really know who Jedward are. You're missing out! Content warning for very brief mention of sexual assault as part of the plot of the film.
Listen below or wherever you listen to podcasts :)
