I think a lot of people conflate superheroes as a whole to specifically Batman when it comes to the importance of a life. It makes sense, supers are meant to be put on pedestals and represent what we should all aspire to be. But it's weird when this gets applied to Spidey.
Just like everything else with Peter, he is a regular guy. Other superheros represent what we should aspire to be, but Spidey represents what we can be. He cares for every life. He hopes to give everybody a second chance. But if someone asks for it, Pete will beat their fucking skull in.
When his cop/detective friend Jean DeWolff was murdered, he hunted the man down and physically fought his way past Daredevil to kill the guy and ended up beating him within an inch of his life. When Kingpin got May shot, Peter broke into his prison, effortlessly beat him to a smear, and then promised that when May died, not if, he'd come back and finish the job- violently. There are just countless instances of him deciding "I'm actually going to kill him now totally" with Norman. Most notably of course is the glider incident, which Peter didn't actually go to with the intent to kill (weirdly enough despite Gobby killing his fiance). However, he took pleasure in beating him senseless and wasn't exactly broken up by the final thud.
Peter's a guy who meets every situation with the intent to help someone. He tries to find every opportunity to help another person, even someone who's trying to kill him, even if it's at his own detriment. He's not a perfect manifestation of morals and purity. He's just some guy. Some guy who cares a whole lot for people. And that makes it all the more special when he does help someone. When he talks a girl off a roof, or inspires a kid to be better than the system set him up for, or befriends his own rogues. It all feels so much more personal. This is just a person, one of us. Someone who fails more often than not, who makes bad jokes and gets angry and feels hate and love and pain all at once and most of all, someone who tries his best no matter what.

Daily Bugle top reporter: Where are you going?
Eddie Brock: To interview spiderman
Daily Bugle top reporter: You got an interview with spiderman!? How!?
Eddie Brock: Well, I didn't exactly schedule one but he usually comes around in the end
Daily Bugle top reporter: How!?
Eddie Brock: well, we are on an incredibly high building so I tend to take advantage of that *jumps out window*
Spiderman: *swings down and catches Eddie* Mr Brock sir! You really need to stop doing this! I might not always be here you know!
Eddie: yes, thank you for your concern. Now, what would you say is the best part about being an avenger?

(had the idea after a post i saw, but not able to find it) Peter, a civilian, was already very late to his job as an intern in the Daily Bugle, but to his bad luck, a villain attacked the city. So out of mistake because of a sleep disorder, he knockout punched Dr. Doom while running already late to his work; he didn't even notice he did that to Dr. Doom as he was in his job and explained to JJ Jamson why he was late. The thing is, Peter didn't even notice he did that, and the Daily Bugle, like Jamson, didn't say anything; after all, he one punched Dr. Doom, and you kind of have to be crazy to take pictures of Spiderman.
- Peter's bad luck was that he somehow knocked out all his villains that way, as Peter Parker did. People started to think he would become a villain in the future. Harry has no idea what his friend is doing and is going crazy about it. What is he thinking? - Dr. Doom hates Peter the photograph(hear Dr. Doof Perry voice) just as much as Squirrel Girl! - Yes, Doreen had the fun of doing the same as Peter, as she joined him in the Daily Bugle. Jamson was totally okay with that girl joining; she helps Peter stay out of trouble, and both are making nice pictures! - Poor Dr. Otto Gunther Octavius was asked by his wife Rosalie Octavius to make sure that Peter doesn't do valiant work. That somehow saved him from being turned into a villain. Making sure Peter doesn't go villain.
Over time, it became the idea of a Villian Ogin story in New York.
The Cilvilian who did go vile because he did go late to work and lost his job.
The irony was Squirrel Girl's is the non-mutant or only mutant liked in New York.
Outsider:" That is a mutant!" New Yorker:" Just because her hair color doesn't mean she's a mutant!" Outsider:" I mean her squirrel tail!" New Yorker:" She just likes to cosplay."Leave her alone."

Peter : did you tell everyone we're dating?
Wade : Yes, Petey. I have no self control and I told everyone we're dating.
Peter : OK, no need for sarcasm.
Wade : No, seriously. I have no self control and told everyone that we know, from Avenger, fantastic four, X-men, and the Sinistres Six.
Peter : THE SINISTRES SIX ?!
Wade : and the daily bugle...
J. Jonah Jameson on TV : Spiderman is dating Deadpool! Another proof that he is not a hero!
Wade : I'm sorry...
Peter is regretting is life choice

Broke: Being bit by the spider fixed Peter's eyesight and his need for glasses.
Woke: The reason Peter has those big lenses on his suit is because he can't wear his glasses under the mask and the lenses are actually prescription.

Spider-Man: Savior or Scourge of the City?
by J. Jonah Jameson, editor-in-chief
Tumblr media
Submitted photo
NEW YORK CITY - Spider-Man's latest exploits have once again thrust him into the spotlight, igniting a debate over his true intentions and impact on the city. Is the web-slinger a valiant defender of justice or a dangerous menace lurking in the shadows?
"For years, I've seen Spider-Man swinging around the city, and I used to think he was doing good," said Mary Smith, resident of Queens. "But lately, it seems like he causes more trouble than he prevents. My shop was damaged in one of his fights, and I'm still trying to recover from the losses."
Critics argue that Spider-Man's vigilantism undermines the authority of law enforcement and poses a threat to public safety. Operating outside the bounds of legal oversight, Spider-Man's actions blur the lines between heroism and recklessness. As such, questions persist regarding his true identity, motives and allegiance.
"While I appreciate Spider-Man's efforts to keep the city safe, there's no denying the damage he leaves behind," said David Johnson, taxi driver. "I've had my fair share of close calls when he's swinging through traffic. It's like he doesn't care about anyone else's safety."
In the face of mounting scrutiny, it is imperative that Spider-Man be held to the same standards as any other citizen. The people of New York deserve answers, accountability and assurances that their safety is not compromised in the pursuit of justice.
"We need to know who Spider-Man really is and what his intentions are," said Jessica Rodriguez, concerned citizen. "If he wants to continue operating in our city, he needs to be transparent and accountable for his actions. Otherwise, he's just another criminal hiding behind a mask."
