I don’t believe for a second that the general population of Hell actually trusts Vox or thinks he has their best interests at heart. It’s Hell, everyone’s always trying to take advantage of one another, and Vox and the Vees aren’t exactly subtle with their cruelty. Imo, it’s probably more similar to the situation in real life: No one actually trusts Jeff Bezos or Tim Cook or whoever, but since they control all the technology we “need” in order to participate in modern society, we relinquish control of our data to them and try not to think about what they’re doing behind the scenes. Everyone knows Vox is evil because all Overlords are evil, but the average sinner has no choice but to buy in to his shit since it’s the only game in town.

i absolutely love what konya sukiyaki dayo says about communal living, child-rearing, and the many forms both can take. it's great when aro media takes a step into navigating the way de-centering monogamous romance and leaning on community can benefit all members of the group, not just aromantics. and, really, living right next door to your best friend so you can see each other all the time but have your own place, isn't that kind of the dream?

Great alternative to 99.9% of all current social media platforms. 100% recommend if you are looking to decentralize social media + run away from every platform owned by those crazy greedy multimillionaires + that only wants to gather/sell data =» to properly manipulate you, the media and world politics.

Sidenote: I will not be hold accountable for consequences of my reactions if I witness another person trivializing the “refugee” by referring to themselves because of the whole tiktok ban and zuckerberg's latest statements. and by the way Wake-up people: amazon, google, meta, microsoft, the 1001 musk's capital “ventures”, trump and all right-wing meat bags like him, that hoarder richnesses beyond our wildest imagination, while billions of people are fighting to survive every-fucking-single-day, while those 1% are using us for their entertainment! All of their fake social-consciousness, “goodwill”, donations publicity stunts, … it's all bullshit. Their evil-doings are not recent either. They are just no longer afraid of showing their true colours because they are above the law. In fact, they are the law. And we are choosing to remain numb, while trying to fight against this machine, and crying about one less available social media to infinite scroll into oblivion.

Ripensandoci, mi fa proprio ridere che dopo la minaccia di oscurare TikTok, la seconda app più scaricata ultimamente dall'AppStore in America sia quella che ora traducono come Red Note (non ce l'aveva un nome in inglese), anche questa cinese, dove addirittura gli utenti hanno degli scambi diretti coi cittadini della rpc. Cioè i governanti e le tech lobby a stelle e strisce si sono dati la zappa sui piedi.

Ma non credo sia abbastanza. Soprattutto dopo la svolta trumpiana di Zuckerberg, si meriterebbero che le loro fasce demografiche target, i giovani soprattutto, usassero solo WeChat, QQ e servizi di Sina Weibo. Così, per rappresaglia.

(o almeno vi esorto ad usare alternative come Kakao Talk o Line)
