I was thinking about how I used to write fanfic a lot and I never understood why people found it hard to correctly characterize the characters in it, because I always used the method of "Put myself into the mindset of that character and then think about if I would say that"

Plural culture is that our favorite genre is jazz, but none of us can agree on the subgenre. (using shortenings for anonymity) Lo likes more complex or chaotic styles of jazz, Al likes big band jazz, Ca likes both ska and smooth jazz, Li, Ma, and Mo like bossa nova, Rm likes more uptempo jazz, and Cy likes more techno or synth jazz. That's not even the tip of the iceberg. Hell our collective favorite jazz song's an introject in our system. idk that's just sorta neat to us
