sketchpage with Medij Arr, my Carcharodons' techmarine in the Deathwatch campaign I'm playing.

Carcharodons keep their techmarines close; odd how Medij was sent away to Deathwatch... there is a reason for that.

I just finished these two yesterday.

On account of Leviathan Dreadnoughts no longer being usable in 40k as of 10e, I converted this levdread for use as a Brutalis Dreadnought by putting multi-meltas in his chest and a big anti air gun on his back.

This techmarine, converted from a black templars Castellan, is probably my favorite space marine miniature to look at and work with. I hope that GW gets around to making a Heresy-pattern armor kit soon and when they do, that it's as good as this.

The Breaker Legion has somewhat of a strange culture regarding Dreadnoughts. Rather than only venerated heroes, any viable marine will be interred if they are recovered in time as to 'wring out the rag' so to speak.

In death, dreadnoughts retain their rank and honors but can no longer be promoted. For two decades, the chapter even had a dreadnought for a chapter master until his lack of rest finally killed him.
