Naomi in a Teambase Uniform
Commission for croakmanfrog of his wrestling ant OC Naomi in a Parasite Uniform. Couturier's Notes: "The client requested a similar model to the Rhodes Parasite. Fitting that a wrestler take inspiration from one of her peers. To paraphrase a great in that shared field, 'Die schlatfeld ist heilig'. It is only right that I entitle this Uniform... Gunther."

Ive had an idea for a while of a comic book superhero style hero teambased shooter game where the twist is instead of having a set roster of heroes to choose from, you’d create your own roster by mixing and matching parts and abilities.

What's your dream game right now?
What's your dream game right now? I'm in this gaming fatigue. Nothing gets me exciited. I have many unplayed games to buy that has gotten a lot of praise from both reviewers and gamers but, I just don't feel it. No interest. So, I was thinking. What game if I got to chose whatever I wanted, would I get produced right now? Something that would make me close out the world for weeks and be in that completely immersed state of mind. I think irt would have to be a completely new ip. Setting in space with a ton of varitey in environments. It should be an rpg that doesn't rely on the Ubisoft formula. More like Zelda Breath of The Wild kind of exploration. Cities to walk around in between missions. Trading, upgrading, get new clothes and all that. I don't want it to be teambased. You are a single hero with a variety of powers and alot of different weaponry to play around with. I'm kinda leaning towards a new Mass Effect kinda game I guess but just a new ip with a more fleshed out open world, solo hero and deap rpg system. What would you get? 😊 Submitted August 07, 2024 at 09:14AM by Memorycard1000 https://ift.tt/4kXcuLY via /r/gaming

Toni Collins, the Babysitter
Toni Collins, resident of Ramenji, next-door neighbor to the Ishikari Ironworks and childcare extraordinaire. She and Sammy have a (strictly platonic) relationship where she pretends to be his ex-girlfriend (one of many) and passes off his three kids as unrelated kids she's tutoring, in the times where they're in town to visit their dad. She gets a percentage of his income (both his allowance as an ironworker and his Teambase salary), and he has a very accessible way of seeing and taking care of his kids while keeping his "secret" from Kai and his siblings. It's needlessly complicated. Lifelong fan of LYGON since they were POLY-HX, and would probably be excited to learn she's two degrees of interaction separation from meeting her favorite member, the exiled Diamond Yu.

okay, so heres my disorganised thoughts on the matter
weapons, lore wise they'd have to be more basic or primitive versions of the ones we see in ultrakill. but as well as that, some minor differences to their mechanics i think so that they work in multiplayer. the revolver can remain, that's whatever. piercer's said to be pretty much standard, and the marksman still makes sense because humans have coins. the shotgun could stay too, that's relatively basic. instead of the railcannon there could be a slow reloading electric bolt action-style rifle, mostly a visually different (older looking) gun, i dont see much need to modify it's behaviour provided it doesnt kill on bodyshot. rocket launcher's also a fairly normal weapon to keep - though i'd question the effectiveness of the time stop. however i dont much enjoy using the rockets so i'm not sure i have anything else to say on those. the nailbomb could be a little fucky, depending on how you could balance its ttk and stuff. it could be different in the way of every nail being slightly magnetic and loosely (LOOSELY) gravitating towards players a little. players would have to behave like heavy enemies - not being drawn towards the mag spike (if those are even something that makes it into this hypothetical game).
players themselves would want customisation. teambased gameplay somewhat contradicts the lore - why would machines work together? v1, swordsmachine, and v2 show no hesitation in attacking eachother. player chosen colours. maybe a base set of 16. multiple chassis/models would also be a nice touch, though creating balanced but varied designs could prove an issue. they couldnt be war oriented - v1 & v2 are the only actual war machines. they'd have to be machines that gained a new purpose, but ones created in wartime to also rationalise blood refuelling since the v series machines basically only refuel on blood due to it being like. right there. my ideas for this? lumberjacks/grinders/chefs with bladed arms, heavy lifters and material smashers capable of concussive blasts, environment scanners/recon machines who can perhaps scan the environment to find traces of other machines not wallhacking i hate wallhacking abilities in games i mean tracking like tracker dogs, construction machines with drills.
game modes. obviously the main mode would be free for all combat. pure free for all makes complex modes a little hard though in my opinion. there's no lore reason for them to hoard "flags", and if theres no organic life left then there's little reason to defend a stronghold/capture point. you could give a lore reason to "king of the hill" by having it be some kind of moving blood-producing entity, but that.... feels a little overkill. and weird. i think i would feel weird playing that mode. unless it was a blood factory which keeps springing leaks. that would be funny. i really kind of like the idea of some kind of "headhunter" (halo) or "kill confirmed" (cod) mode. hunt other machines, collect blood vials from them. winner is the one with the most at the end. or, get this: hunt other machines - take their fucking limbs. this is like. the only reasonable way i can think of explaining why these machines fighting pre-hell era could have other arms. when you spawn/respawn, you only have your default arm, but you can take the arms of other machines that have their colour. it introduces some other problems though- would all arms have the same capabilities? if not, you'd have to incorporate some kind of loadout or class system (whether chosen at the start of a match or some kind of default set in the main menu) where players can select their arm or chassis, but this somewhat increases the complexity of the mechanics and detracts from the simplicity of ultrakill's core gameplay. having a host of colours to choose from plus even just the (presumably) four kinds of arms from the base game would create a system where it doesnt really increase the mental load too much though. hell, maybe disrespecting someone with their own arm gives you a bonus or sends them into a harder-to-control enraged state lmao. im not going to speak on the elephant in the room that is a battle royale mode.
as cool as it would be to fight in the fucked up places of hell, it doesn't really make sense given v1 doesnt encounter very many machines in hell (especially the deeper it goes) and its heavily implied that most machines got nixed before they could reach hell. a wrecked earth could give some cool environments to fight in. a crumbling tower block with its verticality - maybe cave a floor or two in to increase variety. a run down street with some houses with dumb easter eggs in. a wide open shopping centre where you could choose to fight in individual stores or in the main area. an old farm that was recently scavenged for the last remaining blood so now all that remains is the machines that were there when the last blood spilled. etc etc. maybe for each chassis design there's a related map or two. a forest, half chopped down, half burning. some kind of fancy restaurant. a factory. two factories. materials processing plants full of contraptions that just Do Things. construction sites up high. abandoned mines. these also lend themselves quite well to environmental hazards too.
like can you SEE why i want this. but can you also see why the original ultrakill could get lost in the sauce. its soooo fucking hard.
part of me thoroughly believes that some games deserve to be left as singleplayer-only experiences but part of me thinks it would be really fucking cool if we got a multiplayer ultrakill game where you play as machines fighting over scraps on earth before the events of ultrakill
#srs09:m:haix#srs09:a:argent warp#ultrakill#i said i wasnt going to talk about a battle royale but YES i does work quite well. except the ttk would probably be kinda high given how //#// fast paced ultrakill combat is. so i dont know how well it would work in practice#also yes this took me forever to actually write out. i dont apologise

Day 5 #100daydresschallenge #williwswingdress
Found my favorite purple scarf and a bunch of belts I forgot I had. Those will come in handy when I get a few shirts to layer over my dress. Tired today. We had a busy week and slept in late. Planning to go get brunch! I honestly love how easy it is to just throw Sali on in the mornings and add a necklace and a scarf and it's GO TIME! #TeamBasic #ForTheWin And hubs even said it was really cute on me! Even better!!
