Four people in my department have had complete mental breakdowns in the same week and had to miss work. About a third of the people in my office are currently experiencing caregiver burnout. I have no memory of today's zoom meeting except that everyone in it had the thousand yard stare of a caged tiger:

Forever in love with the trope of Kane and Undertaker having someone who brings out their humanity. Maybe they detest it at first but then slowly become protective of that special person. Because all their lives there was little room for healthy interactions. With Paul out of their lives they had to deal with their demons or let it consume them.

I'd like to think X-Pac was one of the first people Kane had that feeling with up until his betrayal. He sunk deeper into the darkness, but Daniel Bryan reminded him he was more than just The Big Red Machine. Maybe he was hesitant at first, being reminded of X-Pac when he found himself growing fond of Daniel.

Taker probably keeps his cards close to his chest on who brought out the human in him, but Shawn Michaels definitely was one of them. Pushing his body to its limits, burying him in their first few matches to remind him he could be beaten. Their matches pushing him even further after Taker fell back into his dark persona.

Rotating these daydreams in my brain like a microwave. Sigh.

Headcanon that all spider people get what’s called the “Spider-Zoomies” (which is a sudden burst of energy but it’s expressed through Spider-like behavior) except for Miguel because he didn’t get bitten, so every time he makes the mistake of going to HQ in the middle of the night, he gets jump scared by at least one Spider-Man:

Scuttling across the ceiling (Pavitr)

Hissing into the void (Miles)

Bench pressing a building (Peter B)

Jumping fifty feet into the air without warning (Margo)

Building some intricate contraption in complete darkness (Hobie, emphasis on trap)

Running extremely fast without making a sound so you don’t know they’re there until it’s too late (wtf Mayday)

Or crouching into a corner, completely still like a predator watching its prey, and the moment he gets close to them, they whisper “Hey” making him scream so loud that he throws his empanadas in their face (Gwen)

It’s essentially like you’re walking through a building full of eldritch horrors, and you don’t know where any of them are, but they all know exactly where you are, and they win bonus points if they scare the shit out of you. Miguel hates it here.

It irritates me alot when people say that making medic more compassionate is ''missing the point of his character'' when he is literally shown to be in the comics.... did you miss the part where he showed concern for both sniper and miss pauling's well being in comic 5 and 6.

His actions are a combination of genuine attachment + clinical interest and these things do not cancel out one another. He is always pushing boundaries and going against the grain and i think this is what led to him losing his license in the first place. He felt stifled by the rules imposed on him.

He is shown to be extremely passionate so it makes sense that he would use his endless fascination with medicine as a way to show his affection. He loves his friends so he will find a way to make them borderline indestructible. Malpractice is his love language.

I think its funny that the Scarecrow keeps showing up in Batman villain team-ups because I honestly think he causes more problems than he solves for everyone involved.
