Watching the Olympics, and I was struck by the idea that Edwin would be a brilliant gymnast in some Catwin sports AU. And now my mind is whirling -- would the Cat King be a rival from another country, or on the same team? A coach? From another sport entirely, but he always manages to watch Edwin compete and it unnerves him? I wish I knew more about the Olympics because OMG OLYMPIC VILLAGE SHENANIGANS, or like an inJURY??? Ugh so much potential!!

I'll just drop this idea here: This fandom needs a DBD in Mortal Instruments AU

Okay, so i haven't get a chance to read this wonderful book series yet, but i saw the movie and the serie. And in short, some characters from DBD have great potential to literally play in Mortal Instruments, also quite a few people on the internet compare Catwin to Malec.

Unfortunately I don't have enough patience and time to write something like this, so anyone who wants to take it up is welcome.

I think that Edwin deserves a loving sister Niko, possibly a 2nd little sister Emma. I can imagine Night Nurse in the role of their disciplinarian/loving mother.

Monty would probably make things difficult in relationships, but since he's a sweet cinnamonroll, he deserves to be part of the team.

I also think that apart from Catwin, Cryland should also get the spotlight. Those 2 dummies are so adorable together (and the idea of ​​the two kissing in that movie greenhouse is simply magical).

Wow, is there really a sane person who doesn't ship Catwin??? God, really thank you!! I, as a follower of this ship, really appreciate these words❤️, I read so much negative things about of the Cat king that I got the impression that the conservative ships of Paynelend are very disrespectful towards us. They always make strange, ridiculous arguments that often fall apart when you think about them for a minute

The argument I get the most is that Charles followed Edwin to Hell and Thomas didn't and it sounds like "haha, we got eaten!?😝" 🙄🙄🙄🙄 but they don't even think about the fact that Thomas literally DIED for Edwin! Charles could not die, which is why only he could follow his friend to Hell; the living members of the team most likely did not pull Edwina out and would have remained there forever

I don’t ship catwin, in fact I actually dislike the ship, but I will not stand for people making ridiculous excuses to hate it.

The cat king isn’t a creep, sleazy maybe, annoying, sure, but everything he does is in response to how Edwin acts around him. Like… Edwin is very clearly physically attracted to him, even if he dislikes him as a person at that point.

The only time he does anything non-consensual is when he kisses Monty, and that’s direct retaliation for Monty doing the same thing to Edwin. He follows an eye-for-an-eye style justice system, like how he punishes Edwin by using the same kind of spell on him that Edwin used on one of his cats.

And yes, Edwin is 16, but we have no idea what age the cat king actually is or even how he ages, there could be any number of technicalities and relativities. Just look at Monty, he’s somehow a teenager and there’s nothing to say the cat king isn’t also following some confusing ass magical age rules.
