I'm quite enjoying that AU too actually and it's nice to see a little weird dream I had some months ago and that I sketched something for is well received among my followers too!

a) There's an earlier ask in my inbox with the same question. I'll get to it sooner or later, I promise!

b) All the people around Evelyn and Robyn know is that both disappeared without a trace (Evelyn died as a deal with Philip to protect Robyn, Robyn himself is living in captivity). Andrew, Silvia, the Bowers and Ahana all were desperately trying to find Evelyn and Robyn. Missing posters, search "troops", they searched for years but to no avail.

Andrew neglected the workshop, Silvia her potion stand, Ahana her shop, the Bowers their fields and specifically Micah's academic successes started dropping. He could barely sleep or think of anything that wasn't related to Robyn's disappearance. At some point he couldn't handle living in Bonesborough anymore and his parents and sisters started worrying for him more and more too as the sunshine they knew Micah as immensely dimmed and he isolated himself and started to merely function rather than actually living. He moved to his birth town and his other family while Breena, Neil, Feya and Makenna stayed in Bonesborough whereas Feya and Makenna also moved out shortly after.

Micah has no thoughts regarding what Robyn is going through because he doesn't know where he is and what he is doing or what is being done to him. For all he knows Robyn could be dead. He pushed that theory away though everytime. It was easier to believe Robyn was alive somewhere and that he might reach out again one day than to believe he was gone forever.

They're separate dragons in mine, and they're brothers! They're Sand/night hybrids with just a biiit of Skywing heritage (hence Sunny's tail!)

They ended up working for Thorn in the Scorpion Den during the tail end of the war as caretakers, mainly caring for injured and orphaned dragonets.

After the war, they decide to start a daycare/orphanage, considering there were still many displaced dragonets during the war. (Mind you, they're still 17 or so in human years at this time, so probably 6-7 in dragon years and still considered dragonets. Around the same age as the DoD ig idk anymore lol)

I don't have their lore figured out much beyond that though-

(However, I have thought about pulling these two into my Ninjago Multiverse AU. Galaxy, (my sona) is the MC of that au and got dragged to the Pizzaplex to stop the virus via her Portals, and now works there. Sun and Moon have accidentally ended up on two adventures with her (Hunger Games and an MLP infection world). Maybe I'll add a third at some point, and DCA Sun and Moon end up dragons for a while ajdjdhjd)

Smelt mystery in the Great Lakes

In 2021, Wisconsin fish researchers identified a big mystery in a tiny fish.  Sampling data from rainbow smelt caught in Lake Superior showed unusually high levels of perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS), a harmful chemical that is part of a group of compounds known as per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS). As a result, both Wisconsin and Michigan notified the public about this discovery and issued a Consumption Advisory which included the risks of eating those fish too often. 

These high levels of PFOS in these little smelt raised questions for state scientists – “Where did this PFOS come from?” and “Why was it so high in smelt?”  There were many possible reasons to be investigated. It was possible that the amount of PFOS in Lake Superior varied around the lake; it was possible that smelt had a feeding behavior that exposed them to greater amount of PFOS than other fish; or it was possible that smelt retained PFOS more than other Lake Superior fish.  It has long been known that PFOS bioaccumulates differently in fish than other persistent chemicals (such as mercury), and that fish lower in the food chain can have some of the highest PFOS concentrations.These questions led the Michigan PFAS Action Response Team, MPART, scientists on a three-year journey that involved collaboration with Tribal governments, Great Lake States, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).   Based on Wisconsin’s initial results, MPART conducted sampling to also evaluate smelt within Lake Superior. The Michigan smelt results mirrored those found in Wisconsin, however, other researchers had results that showed much lower levels of PFOS in Lake Superior smelt.Scientists shared data and observed that a specific sub-type of PFOS called “branched-PFOS” was high in Michigan data but not in the other researchers’ data sets.In 2023, scientists from EPA sought to determine why smelt from Lake Superior had drastically lower PFOS concentrations along the northern shorelines compared to those collected from the southern shorelines. Reviewing all the Lake Superior smelt data available, they surmised that a naturally occurring bile acid in smelt, known as taurodeoxycholic acid (TDCA), could be interfering with the laboratory method. This interference could cause branched-PFOS to be reported in much higher amounts than is actually present in the smelt.According to EPA, TDCA/bile acids have nearly the same molecular mass as branched-PFOS in addition to containing a sulfonate group, another marker for PFOS. Because of those characteristics, the lab equipment couldn’t previously separate the bile acids from the branched-PFOS.Michigan has reanalyzed some smelt samples with a new lab method and found low-levels of branched-PFOS and confirmed that bile acids were interfering with the branched-PFOS levels. The reanalyzed smelt samples had PFOS concentrations in line with those being reported by the other researchers.“Providing answers to these complex PFAS questions can only be solved in cooperation with our many partners” Abby Hendershott, MPART executive director, said. “The collaboration and data sharing between Great Lakes partners have led to this major finding.” Michigan will be using the reanalyzed data to update the 2024 Eat Safe Fish Guidelines in accordance with their fish consumption programs.“For the past 50 years, the Eat Safe Fish Guidelines have been designed to be protective of everyone, including the most sensitive populations,” said Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian, chief medical executive. “Michigan continues to be a national leader in PFAS research and understanding and will continue directing resources to protect Michiganders from PFAS and other contaminants.”MPART will continue to collaborate with federal and state agencies, Tribal governments and academia to use the best methods to understand this group of chemicals as the science evolves.

The difference between them is only in their physical looks actually! mentally they are completely the same, as sunny and moon’s consciousnesses have merged together. the reason they look different is because the left side is whoever was in front before the merge, and the right side is whoever started the merge! so partial eclipse of the sun (left) is what happens when sunny is out, and then moon merges into him :]

It pleases me seeing the silly little robots at their worst.. I love how they are both doing what they think is best while not being.. in the right!! :p I personally am a lot weaker than Y/N because I would of fallen for sun regardless and DEFINITELY would of fallen for moon and not cared about the photo… shout out to y/n for being normal (and well written ::D !!) I’m not sure if I’m fully caught up but I’m always excited to see new updates! I love how the author writes sun and moons personality and I want to shake both robots so violently and with so much love!!

Speaking of this AU.. that one animation with sun spinning moon.. with the song “More, More, More” Whaa!! So fun and good I think I listened to that song on loop for a good couple days after watching the animation..

I need to get around to drawing Sun and Moon from that AU their outfits are some of my absolute favorites! Personally I enjoy Suns the most! But moons little Saturn at the end of his sock is adorable!! ‹𝟹
