TBHK December 2022 Announcement

I can't believe it! I thought they were going to announce that season 2 was officially in production but they announced a re-adaptation instead!

Here's to hoping that they adapt the manga faithfully this time and that Season 2 will come afterwards...

@Toilet Bound Hanako Kun fan base, would anyone be willing to tell me what’s been happening in the manga lately? I don’t know where to get access to the manga, and the last time I checked in there was a reunion between two of our favorite beans. ok im finally reading tbhk and i forgot how much I love this series! tbh the first couple of chapters didn't capture me at all, but by i think chapter 10 i was completely hooked haha

It is such a CRIME that the tbhk anime doesn't have a second season

Like it gets so INTERESTING after the hell of mirrors arc?????? It adds so much complexity to characters with such a minor role in the anime and to the relationships of the well-established ones!!!! The comedy/horror/angst/romance elements are amplified by leagues and you just have way more to yap about

The only characters we rlly get to learn about in s1 are the toilet trio and Mitsuba and it is such a shame that so many compelling charas are getting slept on bc the anime hasn't made it to the good stuff yet!! Where is our season 2 and/or the restart we were promised!!!!

TBHK official anime twitter account, @ hanakokun_info just shared this visual announcing the “restart” of the anime project, I’ll just assume they refer to animate s1 again, so we might finally get to watch Clock Keepers arc animated ! it also could mean we’re getting season 2 someday ~

number one, no questions asked, GWISAN!!!! i could and quite honestly DO talk about gwinam/cheongsan every moment of the day, they are ADDICTING. almost have the urge to full on rant about them right here at this very moment but i’ll save it because it’ll be a WHOLE THING ;P

quite honestly besides that, it’s difficult to rank because i have SO MANY ships worthy of mentioning…. recently i’ve been liking moonjo/jongwoo from (SfH/HiOP)…. because, is it even love if you try to kill eachother??? just THEM and the drama itself; literal heaven.

sangwook/jaeheon from sweet home was my obsession for a little while before i got back into aouad, their whole dynamic, js EVERYTHING itches my brain….. very underrated ship.

my top three besides gwinam/cheongsan is MESSY so honourable mentions…. JUNHO & HOYEOL!!!! my BABIES!!! end of s2 pained me deeply though

2. first ship:

quite honestly… i can’t remember. i WANT to say it was probably from an anime, don’t ask me which because i’ve got zero clue

3. last song:

MANINGEN by atarashii gakko! them & this song are EVERYTHING, not much else to say

4. last movie:

last MOVIE was ballerina, was honestly one of the better revenge type kdramas considering they’re all very one tone; the action scenes were amazing!! very predictable though but i think thats just me…

last series was DP (deserter pursuit) season 2, i meant to watch it when it came out but i got so ANNOYED because people only watched it because of kim hyunwook… (don’t get me wrong, i love him, but the series is great whether or not hes in it). SOME OF THEM EVEN SKIPPED SEASON 1 OR EVEN ONLY WATCHED HIS EPISODE??? boiled my BLOOD. so i’ve only now watched it…..

5. currently reading:

contradictory really as a writer but i don’t actually read all that much… like ‘real’ (if you’d call it that) books anyway.

i do want to restart the CSM & TBHK mangas sometime though… i read them in like ¿2020? and then dipped; also quit CSM because the anime side of the fandom annoyed me LMAO

6. currently watching:

strong girl namsoon!!! i love both lee yoomi & ong seungwu so i thought i’d may aswell watch it, usually i hate romance dramas but i’m actually enjoying this one.

other than that i’m just waiting for new dramas… daily dose of sunshine, you did great!, sweet home season 2 (etc)

7. currently consuming:

You think it’s accurate also what your thoughts on the TBHK restart project

I'm glad a reboot was needed. They really broken season 1 a lot and there were really unforgivable mistakes. The funny thing is that Hanako got a quick reboot…like the 90's series.. haha. Even though it's a replay, I hope it will be much better now and improve the quality, bugs that should be fixed. I was a bit disappointed as I was hoping for a second season. Well… I'm going to enjoy what I get and decided to push that disappointment aside.

No idea where I was, which is frustrating. Still have my MP100 tab though, but we all know I am never going to continue reading that.

i restarted tomodachi life to play it with tbhk characters and not even five minutes in and Mitsuba and Kou are already dating
