This is such a good Reg episode, showing the complexity of his character. He manages to catch a famed cat-burglar while skiving, gets a lot of flack for it, and then spots the flaw in the burglar’s confession, linking him to a bigger crime. Good on Jack, too, for letting him run with his intuition. It’s not the first time that Jack’s realised that Reg is a bloody good cop despite his less commendation-worthy traits.

Imagining My Favourite Albums as Books

I'm still learning how to work in MS Paint, I have so many ideas but not the skills (yet) to bring them to life. I really need to invest in Photoshop or Illustrator...

I've find this oddly therapeutic, until the OCD kicks in lol.

These albums got me through those difficult teenage years and I obsessed over those lyrics sheets and album liners like they were classic literature...and that's what inspired this.

It's like the writing team has a kink for humiliating the Greens.

Alicent: Vizzy needed a young wife and a male heir, so Otto gave him Alicent. She gave him three sons and a daughter and Vizzy didn't give a shit about any of them. She never had a positive sexual interaction in her entire life, until Vizzy died. But her affair with Cole was only meant to guilt her and now Rhaenyra of all people slur shames her for taking a lover.

Aegon: They made him a rapist in season one so the audience would hate him. Now they want you to know that his dick exploded and he pisses on his leg. Aegon the realm’s delight.

Cole: There’s not much to say, basically the entire audience hates him since Rhae Rhae chose him as a sex toy.

Aemond. We were shown not one, but two scenes of him completely naked in the brothel as he confides in his abuser. He gets humiliated by his brother, his mother wonders why he's so angry (I don't know, maybe because everyone treats the fact that he lost a damn eye like it's a childish prank), and the one time he asks for help he gets rejected. Heleana prefers to help the person who ordered the assassins who beheaded her son rather than him and we're supposed to cheer the script.

Heleana: They made her forget that her son ever existed, and they took away every characteristic from her except that of being a dreamer. And she uses her dreams to help the person who killed her son. We don't know anything about her marriage to Aegon, in season 1 she said it was bearable as long as Aegon wasn't drunk and remembered her. Now she's upset because Aegon is injured, but she never went to visit him at his bedside... who knows? The writers probably don't care about her and that’s it.

Most Greens have either never had a positive sexual interaction in their entire lives or have been shamed for it. Which speaks volumes about the writers' biases.

Only Gwayne is safe, for now, and Daeron, but only because we haven't seen him yet.

Beloved? You sure about that Condal? Just… forgot about the mass murder at the coronation? Never happened? Not one of those small folk remembered when she killed hundreds of them for absolutely no reason other than to stare at Aegon and then fly off?

If you were going for a more realistic reaction, they would have been cheering that the dragon and dragon rider that slaughtered so many of them answered for their crimes.

So, according to Condal, hanging a dozen rat catchers (I believe?) to ensure no other assassination attempts befell the royal family would turn all the small folk against Aegon, but the dragon that killed HUNDREDS of them was “beloved”? Did Aegon not meet the quota for small folk slaughter to be beloved or something? Is that it? You have to kill at least 200 before they go from hating you to loving you?

Someone get Condal’s dumbass out of the writing room. Let like 3 hardcore fans take his place. One TB, one TG, one Team Smallfolk. They will make a MUCH better and balanced show. And maybe something interesting will happen. I mean, do we really need five episodes of Rhaenyra’s council not listening? And huge chunks of those episodes just being a bunch of old men squabbling about “women can’t!” While Rhaenyra continues doing fuck all but getting upset about it?

Jesus, show us Aemond decimating the blockade with Vhagar now that Meleys’ patrolling isn’t an issue. Show us Sunfyre’s wounds and the men left to guard him! FFS, stop just standing around talking about what they should do and actually DO something already! Fuck, after Jaehaerys assassination why didn’t they all jump on their dragons and just burn down Dragonstone in the middle of the night? Riders without their dragons are just people. Dragon fire can cook them through the stone walls (see Harrenhal) but nooooooo. Just have a bunch of scenes of people blaming each other and doing nothing about it. Super compelling TV.

Season 1 I rewatched several times because there was usually something going on. Season 2, I was able to catch husband up on the entire season in under two minutes. “Aegon wants to be a good king, his son gets killed by assassins, Rhaenyra grieves the loss of her son, Daemon left for Harrenhal after Rhaenyra found out he sent the assassins. Cole leads an army through the crown lands, sets a trap at Rook’s Rest, Aegon drunkenly interferes and ends up getting roasted by Vhagar. Aemond is now regent.” Tada, five episodes summed up. Hit all the major plot points. Most of which weren’t even impactful.

The only two major events have been B&C and RR. We are over halfway through the season, and we have had less action and interesting things happening than the last three episodes of season 1.

We were promised all out war. Is the all out war in the room with us?

i've been so curious about this 'unofficial therapist' that thursday had???? which member is he? how did they find him?? could he always play an instrument or did they ask him to learn so they could keep him around? did he actually help that much? how did it change thursday's writing? i don't expect you to have the answer to all of these things but you seem to know a lot about them and if nothing else i need to know who their therapist is and what 'unofficial' means in this case if you can help at all!

oh lol haha unofficial in the very literal sense so my guy andrew everding of the "no one ever expects it" chest hair fame from my chemical romance in the studio 2002 (@3:10) is like...the y/n of thursday.

he's just a nice dude who hangs around and everyone likes, good friend of the guys in thursday, and then his house burns down and he has nowhere to stay so thursday were like yo just come tour with us and he did. because he's also a very talented (multi?-)instrumentalist and, as it turns out, a great composer too. also at some stage he lived with geoff's mom? it is unclear if this is before or after the fire and/or joining thursday as a touring member. he also photographed their first west coast tour in 2002?

so like anyway by 2003 he's playing keys for the watt tour which is like.....I'd say the darkest point of thursday's history but that would be a fucking lie lol. let's say the darkest point of thursday's history so far. the guys are super stressed, super overworked, super depressed, and under loads of pressure from their label who's saying they're underperforming the expectations they had for them. geoff in particular is copping a lottt of criticism for his singing which he really internalised, and basically everyone in the band is miserable. they were also. not fucking talking to each other. like at all. they would just all constantly bitch about each other behind everyone's back and never say shit to their face. andrew, as a touring member but not official member, and as a Nice Guy, ends up becoming like...the intermediary to whom everyone in the band went to vent. so he's like trying to fix their shit and be positive and he puts his foot down and is like guys you NEED to learn to COMMUNICATE. (spoilers they didn't) but anyway the band after a particularly nasty and conflict-laden tour of australia in 2004 are like fuck this we're breaking up! but then as soon as they agreed to breaking up they were like wait. so much of the pressure is gone now. actually we're good we just need a break :) but media has kind of already picked up on the story of them breakup up so it was all dreadfully will they/won't they. this is also right as three cheers is blowing the fuck up btw 😭😭 #we'retwosidesofthesamecoin #he'smyvillain.

oh shit and then they go on warped 04 as what would have been kinda their last thing but they're like hey look at this we're sorta starting to work on our problems! oh and then at the vegas date 24yo geoff gets shotgun married to a woman he'd been dating for two years with mcr, tbs, and the bouncing souls as the wedding party 😭😭😭😭😭.

ANYWAY. they end up not breaking up but take a break from touring and then all move in together for a while? i think bc they were a little scattered at that point and geoff might have been living in sydney (his wife was australian) at the time idk so when he came over to do thursday shit they just like lived together apparently. and they write city by the light divided (so titled bc the band, naturally, was totally divided on how they wanted the album to sound lol). anyway the main difference now is this time round they've invited andrew to join as an official member!! :DDD

...unfortunately for andrew, this is also the time thursday stops being even slightly commercially viable lol so he's like technically im earning less money now than i had been on a tour salary lolz. anyway he becomes a big part of the writing process, especially for that album and no devolucion, the instrumentals if which were apparently driven pretty heavily by him!

then in 2008 onwards thursday were all broke as fuck and needed to get day jobs to pay rent. most of them went into like...food service or painting houses, but tucker drummed for mcr for a bit and andrew worked as.....a guitar tech? for patd????? (also after the break up, tucker was in boy band the wanted for a while as their touring drummer. he loved it lol <3)

anyway tragically, andrew hasn't appeared at any of the reunion shows 😔. he's private so no details but he was dealing with some health issues towards the end of thursday that contributed to the band deciding to break up and has a baby and shit now. but he did continue touring as a musician a bit, like with neil finn in 2014!!!!!! playing some wacky fancy midi/synth electronic instrument iirc? epic collision of my childhood fave and new-adulthood fave.

anyway lol this is all typed out in bed on my phone off the top of my head so there might be some chronology errors in there, but a lot of this is from their documentary, kill the house lights! it's a comedy. dark comedy.

I do think some hate Criston because they're racists, others because he insulted Rhaenyra, even though his crimes aren't worse than what others have done (DAEMON for example, who is loved so much by tb) and some are a mix, but one part of me thinks it's because he is the character who Rhaenyra did wrong to

He's the one persone that the show let her do something horrible to just because she wanted (young Rhaenyrayou had so much potential), even though the narrative then tries it's hardest to demonize him over and over again, so then what Rhaenyra did isn't so atrocius to the public eyes

Most who point the finger saying it's not that deep, he shouldn't have gotten his feelings hurt, he's an "incel", simply don't understand the world created by Martin, it's theme and culture, because they are pushing their own narrative and agenda, with a modern view, that the show itself pushes

Rhaenyra is never wrong and the one time she did something bad because she's CAN (she can take and do what she wants because she's the heir, she's a Targaryen) the writers then bends themselves in trying to make Criston a "villain", one more hateful than the others put together

The new Joffrey & Ramsey of hotd (I saw more than one person saying this and let me just laugh because what? Lol)

Not to say that is the only act that Rhaenyra does for herself (her relationship with Harwin and having her three sons with him for once, but the narrative never truly show it as a BAD thing she did - and I say bad because it's egotistical and she put in danger her own children etc)

So, Criston hate could come from so many different places, but one place it'll never come? Here, from me, because how can I say no to a man with beautiful brown eyes?

The writers can do what they want, they won't change my opinion of the characters themselves (And they are trying so much to destroy the greens and even the black which lol) and I will still write my Brat compilation of oneshots for the green, because it's their color and theme so cheers ahaha

(I still can't understand how in driftmark, when Rhaenyra said to Alicent "now they see you for what you are" or something like that now I can't exactly remember lol, was that gotcha moment... like... how?)

i do think his disproportionate amount of haters is a mix. if you think it's reaching, think about what a bane targ stanning is in the asoiaf fandom and how dany worship has turned so many spaces toxic. their mental gymnastics in justifying their delusions is equal to none. and now, unfortunately, for lack of other content, all that dany rage has been employed in the service of rhaenyra (so silly considering they're all fake people but you know)

Hey hey hey just quick question, have you come across certain individuals arguing that Luke's death was justified or deserved bc "he ran away like a coward" and that Aemond had a good reason to kill him? I certainly am appalled by the idea of justifying or even cheering on the death of a child regardless of what he did or didn't do at like 7 years old (especially considering not even Aemond himself was planning on killing Luke, tried to prevent it from happening once he realized he lost control of Vhagar and the look on his face afterwards clearly indicates how shocked/full of regret he himself is), sorry for the long message I'd love to hear your perspective on this

Ugh yes, I've seen some of them pull this shit. Apparently TG stans enjoy infantilizing their favs while hating the blacks for actually acting their age.

They excuse Alicent's actions for the entire twenty years the show covers because she was a child bride. Meanwhile, Rhaenyra must act like a mature adult when she's fourteen and be completely understanding of Alicent marrying her father when she has no context for what happened.

They excuse Aegon constantly bullying his siblings and being a literal rapist because his "daddy doesn't love him". However, Rhaenyra is expected to be grateful for being allowed to pick the man who's going to view her simply as a baby maker, which she thinks because of the unaddressed trauma of what happened to her mother.

They excuse Aemond never maturing past one prank done by his brother (the pig prank) and believing blood purity because he was bullied :(. Meanwhile, Luke is demonized for attacking the older boy about to kill his brother (at least it looked like it, if we're being generous).

Now, Luke is being mocked for being actually more mature than Aemond and reacting completely reasonably to his situation. Luke chose to ignore Aemond's insults and stayed true to the oath he swore to his mother. He tried to leave Storm's End peacefully, tried to leave the situation without making the tensions explode into a full out war.

Aemond, who is three fucking years older than Luke, acted like a goddamn middle schooler, trying to get a reaction out of Luke. He chose to antagonize Luke and tried to start a fight in the middle of a dimplomatic mission. Then he chases Luke and his barely old enough to ride dragon on his giant war dragon through a storm yelling maniacally about maiming a child.

What sane person wouldn't run away from that? Luke was smart enough to know that he'd die if he stuck around Storm's End and he'd die if he tried to fight Aemond.

Both of them lost control of their dragons, Luke's trying to defend him and itself, Aemond's trying to kill Luke (which Aemond was basically communicating). Aemong somehow didn't realize that chasing a child through a storm on the biggest dragon alive wouldn't end badly, yet his stans constantly make excuses for him.

It's only TB that's expected to be perfect and act perfectly mature. The double standard is endlessly frustrating and headache inducing. The greens are ridiculous and infantilized by both the show and their stans.

-baela tells Jace not to pout lol Jace is sulking and reading something. Baela is trying to cheer this sadbitch up and he says that the dragon seeds are an insult to Targaryens. jace says baela knows what he is (a bastard) and baela says she doesn’t care and that Jace is the /prince/ its a cute scene although Jace tells her its easy enough for baela to say and he has had to hear the whispers of his bastardy in the halls all his life. She tries to hype him up and tells him to stand by his mother but he still seems sad.

-Jace argues with ulf and ulf argues back and calls Jace a boy. Hugh defends Jace and says Jace is the prince not a boy. Very Robb and blackfish vibes I gotta say. Jace wants an apology from ulf and for some reason ulf hugs Jace and musses with his hair before Jace grabs his arm to make him stop. Jace is pissssssed. ulf points out Jaces dark hair and then makes some comment about Targaryen blood ugh and compares himself to Jace and says they are the same since they are both dragon riders. Hugh tries to support Jace and says ulf doesn’t know wtf he’s talking about. Jace is mad because Aemond has been burning things and killing people.He gets on Ulfs case and says if he sees him lazing about and being useless he will see to it that ulf is hanged.

-corlys and rhaenyra FINALLY SPEAK. Corlys says helaena might mount dreamfyre and rhae thinks it’s absurd and won’t happen. corlys points out that aemond is crazy and won’t stop at just burning shark point he will want to burn more shit. Then they talk about corlys ship. 

-Dinner time at dragon stone. Rhaenyra toasts to the new dragon riders and Jace shakes his head and baela seems annoyed at rhaenyra as well. Addam and Hugh seem to earnestly want to help rhaenyras cause. Rhaenyra wants to strike asap while they still have the advantage dragon wise. She wants to strike oldtown, lannisport and KL. Baela seems super worried and asks “you want us to kill innocents?” Jace says that it can’t be helped nd they must do it. The three dragonseeds + baela seem to have no words and feel awkward and unsure about this. Ulf says that he can solo Vhagar with Silverwing lol. A maester pulls rhaenyra aside and tells her that daemon has raised an army at harrenhal. 

Rhaenyra says she won’t allow it and tells Addam to come with her. Jace seems confused and jealous. 

-daemon and alys are talking and she makes him touch the weirwood tree. His vision is: bloodraven (young and sexy version), three eyed crow, night king approaching with a huge army, a broken dragon (sunfyre?), daemon drowning, red comet, dany hatching her 3 dragons (biblically accurate with her burned hair) rhaenyra on the iron throne, helaena appears and tells him he knows his part (??? Not sure what that mans) 

-cut to rhaenyra and Adam flying to harrenhal. Daemon and rhaenyra reunite. Rhae asks WHO daemon is really sworn to and daemon starts speaking to her in high Valyrian. He tells her that the world isn’t what he thought it was and that the /real/ war is starting winter is coming (omegalol) rhaenyra says he sounds like her father. Daemon says the only hope for the realm is a leader who can unite it and his brother chose her. Daemon bends the knee to her and says she is the TRUE queen. And then literally.. literally……everyone claps lol the harrenhal hall was full of the riverlords.

“Totally get it,” Renee nodded, “Now that you’re back, do you have any plans?”

“Actually, yeah. I’ve been watching the show from home, keeping my eye on certain people; cheering my friends, booing those I don’t quite… like…. Uh, but—I think it’s long past time that I branch out away from the Elite and find myself again. Maybe go for some title gold?”

“Which title holder do you think you’ll go for—Julia Hart and the TBS championship or Toni Storm and the AEW Women’s Championship?”

“Ya know, I don’t know. I’ve steered clear of Julia since she joined the House, but maybe it’s time I dip my foot in that pond. Or, speaking of ponds- I could look across the pond and go tit for tat with Toni again. Either…. Way…..”

Emery trailed off, tweaking her head to the side inquisitively as Orange Cassidy and Trent stopped across from her. Renee took a step backward, looking at the two guys, unsure where this was going. Emery’s eyes briefly flickered back to Trent, who gave her a smile and a shrug, obviously not sure what his best friend was doing.

“Hey Ree…” Orange said flatly, looking downcast towards the floor, “Heard you wanted a title match… I think you’ve earned one….. I’ll uh—see you Friday on Rampage….”

Emery’s mouth opened a fraction in surprise and amusement, Renee using her free hand in an attempt to hide her own amused smile.

“Orange, uh,” Trent chuckled, stopping him from walking away, “I hate to say it—but I don’t think TK will sanction a match between you and Emery.”

“Yeahh…..” Emery drew out, coughing out a laugh, “I appreciate the uh… offer, J. But Trent’s right.”

“…. Oh….” Orange slowly spoke, as if lost in thought, as he turned his attention back in her direction, “Uhm…. I guess we’ll do this tonight then…. I don’t have a match…. Uh…. Unsanctioned—for the International Championship….”

“Orange….” Trent said under his breath, shaking his head in amusement.

“…. 11:30… My hotel room. See ya then.” He turned away and walked off, leaving everyone in absolute shock; all three of them were wide-eyed and slack-jawed at what had just happened.

“Uhm--- back to you guys,” Renee coughed out as she tried to hold back the laughter. Trent looked at Emery, surprise fully evident in his eyes, but he shrugged, waving goodbye.

“Uh… Good luck?” Trent told Emery, giving her a thumbs up.

Emery stood there, wide-eyed, mouth agape, face tinting a deep shade of pink, too stunned to speak.

“Yeah. Good luck,” Renee echoed, sucking her lips between her teeth in an attempt to hold back her smile.

Swallowing the lump in her throat, Emery wordlessly turned and walked the opposite way that Trent and Orange had disappeared.

Surely, that did NOT just happen. On live TV.

My First Urban Gifting Trip – Towerbusting Boston 6/7/23

It is an honor to have been asked by Sharon and Gabe to contribute to their blog! I live north of Boston and have been following their work for about five years. A year ago when New England was allegedly in the middle of a “severe drought” (which ultimately consisted of three months of little to no rain), I decided to start gifting myself, focusing on cell phone towers and arrays mainly north of Boston and into New Hampshire with very interesting results (significant rain and other sky and weather transmutation that has continued ever since). While I have gifted in rural areas, towns, and smaller cities, Gabe and Sharon for some time have been encouraging me to tackle Boston itself. An opportunity to do so recently arose. 

As usual, I turned my cell phone completely off during this outing, but I forgot to bring a piece of foil with me, so I didn't wrap it. This was the first gifting trip during which this happened, and time constraints didn’t allow me to find a store to buy some foil. I decided to put my trust in the power of the succor punch, a device made from a quartz crystal wrapped in a mobius coil and powered by a nine volt battery which scrambles location tracking data. 

The weather was basically cloudy and mild before, during, and after my trip, with the sun coming out during it a little bit. The clouds were all very puffy and there was no haze. It sprinkled a tiny bit a couple of times. The local weather people had been complaining about haze from the "Canadian fires," but I saw no such haze anywhere that day, nor did I see any "planes.” 

I used my AAA paper map and a list of places I had made in advance to go to in a grid pattern of one towerbuster approximately every quarter mile, suggested by Sharon and Gabe if one can’t see exactly where the cell towers are. The main issue I had was finding appropriate places to gift, since as a newbie city gifter I was always afraid that my potential spots could somehow get "unbusted." I was able to use a total of eight TBs, which took me an hour at a fast walk/slow jog. The massive rooftop arrays seemed to appear out of nowhere, but I of course couldn't see them if I was right next to a tall building. The grid strategy was definitely the right way to go unless there was something particularly nasty needing additional attention. Downtown Boston is comparatively dinky and was easy to walk in. Everybody was on their phones, so nobody seemed to care. I just had to watch out for the tourists taking pictures and all the security cameras, but avoiding them was easier than I had anticipated. 

I did not encounter any significant challenges, but I did experience something really cool. In searching for an appropriate spot to gift, I "accidentally" came across a very promising area. Since it was touristy, I wandered around looking for a good site that wouldn't get unbusted and finally discovered a place that looked ideal. When I moved away some leaves so that I could place my gift appropriately, I found another TB already there! I was so shocked that instead of deciding not to deploy my own TB, I just added it to the other one and quickly left. Needless to say, I was very excited to learn that there was at least one other person gifting the city! I assumed that this was a fantastic sign and that my own gifts could only strengthen what had already been put there. 

Even though I was not in Boston to have traditional fun, I did encounter some interesting entertainment. While near the State House, I heard someone talking and a cheering and clapping crowd. Approaching what I thought might be a political rally, I was instead graced by the presence of several drag queens on the State House steps about to perform! I was indeed tempted to watch this show, but quickly chose to go on my merry way, as I had more pressing matters to take care of. I finished my gridding by visiting a fantastic bakery with lots of bad-for-you sugary delights. 

I was curious to see what would happen weather-wise after my trip, as I had deployed only a small number of TBs. The day after, on the North Shore and into New Hampshire there was flat white haze with puffy clouds forming underneath, which ended up turning into a lot of 3D cumulus clouds with a little blue sky. The second and third days were more dramatic. The temperatures were on the cool side (50s and 60s). I observed threatening clouds – white clouds in front of dark gray clouds, dark gray clouds in front of white clouds – all 3D. There were no "planes" or messy white hazy stuff in the upper atmosphere, and there was blue sky in between all these clouds when you could see it. A thunderstorm came through and dumped a bunch of rain for 15-20 minutes, moving off very quickly, and more of the clouds described above continued to appear. Threatening weather travelled north to south from New Hampshire towards Boston, rather than the typical west to east pattern, bringing in blue skies. Overall, this urban trip has inspired me to consider additional city gifting. The greater Boston area is a true east coast epicenter of DOR activity – currently and historically – that ideally needs hundreds of TBs to neutralize fully. Appearance:  Toy Bonnie is primarily bright blue with his belly, muzzle, and insides of his ears being a pale powder blue. He has green eyes, black eyebrows, magenta eyelids, long eyelashes, a black button nose, whisker spots, buck teeth, and red cheeks. He also has a fluffy white tail. In terms of clothing and accessories, he only wears a red bow tie. Toy Bonnie’s feet differ from Bonnie in that each paw sports a triangular shape with three blocky toes. 

Personality: Toy Bonnie is a generally cheerful and outgoing rabbit, one who is unashamaed of his appearance and identity. He proudly identifies as a twink, for instance, and enjoys playfully flirting with others he thinks are cute. He’s not pushy though, and will leave off if told the other party is not interested. However, he tends to get rather flustered if the other person flirts back and can even find himself at a complete loss for words. Like most Bonnie models, he has a penchant for music and has been programmed to play the guitar (specifically electric guitar, though he’s also quite good with an acoustic guitar). It’s also easy to tell when Toy Bonnie is angry because his irises will shrink, though this doesn’t happen often as he’s good at brushing off insults to his person. He also tends to be a bit of a stickler for cleanliness in himself as well as others; he hates being dirty or having things stuck in his joints, and he can’t imagine how anyone else can handle it.

I missed you

Kris wandered around backstage waiting for her cue to go out and to reveal herself to the fans, Well not just reveal the fact that she has returned but to also reveal her new look.

She is no longer the adorable alien from Anderomeda Galaxy- Well she was but she wants to experiement and find out what it would be like to be a human.

She was really excited to see her friend again. She couldn't help but be nervous though. She knew they would obviously be extremely happy to see her but what if they didn't like her new look?

There were countless people backstage that gave her hugs and told her how happy they were to see her and they made her feel really special, they told her how beautiful and good she looked and that made her smile, but did that mean she wasn't beautiful before? Did people not like her?

She started overthinking a lot and discovered a tear falling down her cheek, she quickly wiped it away and did her part in fighting Jade and winning her tbs championship.

Looking down at it and hearing all of the fans cheering for her with confetti falling everywhere, she felt amazing and that was all the confidence she needed to wash away the nervousness and to show off her new title to her bestfriends- especially one certain bestfriend.

But deep down she couldn't help but still overthink and doubt herself, she shoved it down and went backstage feeling the adrenaline rush from her victory.

When she arrived backstage she only had one destination and she made that her top priority. ignoring everyone else and muttering nd quick apolagy, she finally made it to her destination- The best friends lock room. She barely even got to knock a second time before the door flung open and she felt everyone hugging her. Well almost everyone.

There was one person standing behind them just observing everything.

Orange Cassidy.

He looked a little frozen and in shock. She looked over trents shoulder and gave Orange a small smile. He tried to give one back but he really couldn't, he didnt know how to react.

When Chuck and Trent broke the hug along with Danhausen and they really took in her look.

"You look amazing Kris, im loving the new look" Trent compliments her

"Yeah you do, We're so happy to have you back dude" Chuck agrees

"Danhausens thinks Kris looks very nice and  also agrees that it is nice to see her back" Danhausen also agrees with the two

Kris smiles at them and mutters a thank you while blushing, She adverts her gaze to orange who still has yet to give her a hug.

The other three see what is happening and excuse themselves after whispering one more welcome back before they leave to go to either the hotel or catering.

Once its just two of them, they both stand there staring at each other.

She starts to think Orange is mad at her. But before her thoughts get the best of her she feels Orange practically jump on her and give her big squeeze making her laugh.

"I missed you' He whispers into her neck

"I missed you too" She whispers back

Euro 2024 breaks BT broadband records

More than 11.5 million homes across the UK streamed at least one home nations match at Euro 2024 using BT Group’s broadband network, with the tournament coming to an eventful climax on Sunday night as Luis de la Fuente’s Spain pipped England to win a record fourth European Championship. Euro 2024 has become one of the biggest standalone sporting events in recent history, with Scottish and English fans consuming more than 11,000 TB of broadband data in the last four weeks streaming their team’s matches, with download traffic from the BBC or ITV more than 30 times higher than an average week. To put that into context, this is the equivalent amount of data needed to watch England’s entire run to the Euro 2024 final more than 700,000 times in a row. The big demand from football fans also caused both the BBC and ITV to consistently break into the list of top 3 content providers across BT Group’s entire broadband network – with more people using these platforms than the likes of Netflix, Facebook and YouTube during home nations matches. As the nation gathered to cheer on the Three Lions, the action-packed final saw a 142% increase in customers streaming the game compared to England’s semi-final against the Netherlands. The highest peak in broadband traffic during the final came as Cole Palmer equalised for England just after 9.30pm. While the areas of the UK that saw some of the biggest increases in streaming traffic for the Euro 2024 final were Essex, Liverpool, and Bristol – with more rural areas including the Outer Hebrides also seeing an increase. 2023 Winners

With the 2023 season in the books, we also finally have our first winner of the Dave Kingman Award for Hacking Excellence: Cowabunga Dudes! The Dudes hacked away to a league leading total of 4834 K+TB. As a result, I am now the proud owner, for this year anyway, of the signed Dave Kingman photo that sits on Martin's mantel, obscuring various pictures of family and loved ones. (It may also be pasted on the ceiling above his bed glaring down on him, or perhaps the inside door of the bathroom facing the toilet, where it can force all visitors to reconsider their values regarding taking giant hacks. I never asked, but those are the only three places that would make any sense)

So congratulations to me, and thank you, thank you - please, really, you can sit down and stop cheering now.

It was a hard fought win at the end: Kekambas roared to the finish line for a total of 4754 K+TB, just narrowly missing the lead. For this spectacular finish, Kebambas has been granted an honorary award as well! (there is no prize)

However, the Kingman prize itself feels almost trivial in light of the true greatness that we witnessed this year. This year, Ozzie's Crazy Train set an all time record in most batter Ks with 1824!! Those of you who were not tracking these important stats with bated breath might have missed this accomplishment - let that be a lesson. I would also like to point out that this year, we also saw new a new record set in single week Ks, as both Ozzie and the The Axe managed 118Ks. Incredibly, both accomplished this feat IN THE SAME WEEK, week 15. Week 15 will go down in league history as the all time high-water mark for batter Ks (Sadly, the two were not facing off that week.) Let us bow our heads in a moment of reflection in the strikeout greatness that unfolded all around us this year.

This years MKP (Most Kingman Player) award goes to perennial stalwart Kyle Schwarber of Kekambas, by unanimous vote of the governing body. K-Dog led the league with 215 Ks, and finished just outside the top 20 with 277 TB. That is all-around greatness, which deserves to be honored. We salute you, Schwarbombs!

We would also like to grant special recognition on the pitching side to Lance Lynn, who went out there every day to give up homers and get Ks. He finished with an incredible 353 TBA, good for second in all of baseball, and 191Ks for 20th. Most importantly, he was picked up and dropped probably 15 times in our league, always there on the wire as a dependable source for TBA and Ks. A service to us all.

Finally, the council would like to extend a special lifetime achievement award to our very own Ian Happ. Not only for his service on the field, jacking taters and ripping whiffs, but his service off the field, as an ambassador for Everythings Coming Up Milhouse. He had an off year this year, only striking out 22.1% of the time, instead apparently opting for walks and 'balls in play.' But we know his heart is in the right place, and we still honor him as the great man he is.
