now that Lup's got a canon design in the graphic novel, i feel okay sharing the speculative GN!Lup designs i've done!

being identical to taako makes it pretty easy to assume what she looks like, but it was fun to think up hair and clothes for her!

(also many of these poses were traced from taako in the graphic novel so credit to carey for that!!)

this made me cry. what a way to end the book, i will be impatiently waiting for story and song

ugh okay but the adventure zone balance in any context will never fail to make me emotional. the story is beyond sentimental to me. the graphic novels are so lovingly created, just like the whole campaign was. it’s the way that the bonds transcend the characters and bleed into the players, you know? the way that griffin knew that travis would save the voidfish, the way clint egged on justin to break the umbrastaff. all those little intricacies are different in gn form, but the soul of the thing is still there in the lines that stay verbatim from the podcast, and the fact that griffin is every npc, but they still put a dm character in the books. i know it’s sort of weird to read the stuff that’s changed or whatever, but it’s still so thematically full, and you can see it in the portrait at the end of the suffering game and you can see it in “you’re going to be amazing”
