Wanted interactions: for now only muses from the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movies, until I figure out how she'd interact with others. Open to ship with: people she has chemistry with, particularly Legolas (while she'll repress it because "not worthy" at the very least until the end of the events of The Hobbit). Open to ship with Kili too but only if we write their relationship developing in time and it works, since by default I write her as platonically caring for him.

Legolas had always been an anxious young elf when it came to others, he didn't easily make friends but he blamed a lot of that on his father because he was so cold. Most did not want to risk being around Legolas since they didn't want to displease the king of Mirkwood. Tauriel was different, she seemed to see him differently and didn't judge him on his father. He had always loved that about her and how she often went against his wishes in order to keep Legolas close.

His eyes met with the she-elf as a slight smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "do not worry yourself on what my father will say, we are doing all we can to protect Mirkwood" he spoke softly and gave her a soft nod. "of course I can, i've barley seen you today. Its been lonely here without you" he spoke softly and gave her an innocent smile.

tauriel felt legolas' presence long before the elven prince had spoken. there was a smile on her lips as she turned her attention towards him, a gleam in her eyes. they had grown closer and closer together over the past century. but there was always that voice in her head, telling her to be cautios. he was a prince, and she a lowly silvan elf. whereas sindarins were known to have mingled with the silvan elves, and legolas was all but a silvan elf by now, there was still the fact that he was a prince. one day, he would inherit the kingdom of mirkwood. the king himself, had approached tauriel about this subject. still she refuses to see herself as anything more than a dear friend of the prince. “ i was not gone that long. have you missed me so, cónin? ” her words might be teasing, but she meant them affectionately. she walked slowly towards him, the warmth radiating from her seemingly increasing the closer she got. “ it is getting uneasy out there. more and more of those creatures crawling about . . . the king will not be pleased, ” she knew that neither would legolas. she reached out, placing a hand on his shoulder. “ i must debrief. will you join me? ” as captain, her duties came first. but that didn't mean she didn't enjoy spenidng time with him, either. tauriel had few friends, and legolas was her dearest.

She had stopped by the river to collect water, realizing only then she had been humming. She found herself doing so at times when in need to soothe herself after something had made her heart race in a way that was unbecoming for a guard, let alone a captain. But too often she was prey of her own emotions, and had to walk away. "I know when I'm being followed," she finally spoke up, turning enough to look above her shoulder. "Come out."

I am 23f. But please be aware that although I do try and reply regularly I for one hold a full time monday to friday job in GMT and I also have (currently undiagnosed ADHD) which means if you are someone that is going to get annoyed if I fall off for a week or so this isn't for you. 7. How do you choose which POV to write from? Honestly, the characters choose. I have some characters who always talk in the same way (Legolas is always first person present tense, which is why writing him through someone else's eyes in unanticipated, unexpected was weird), but mostly it's third person, from the point of view of whoever seems best to tell this particular story. Quite often I alternate, especially with Bard and Thranduil, because they both want to tell their side of the story, and sometimes I end up with more (All I Want Is You has chapters from the points of view of Bard, Thranduil and Sigrid, and stories in the series from all of those plus Tilda, Bain, Legolas and Tauriel). I like being able to look at events from different perspectives. :D

14. how do you write emotional scenes? Do you ever feel what the characters feel? Do you draw from personal experiences? Mostly I do draw on personal experiences; for example, Sigrid's feelings on having a crush in unanticipated, unexpected are absolutely mine. I've been known to upset myself when writing sad things, but mostly I just hang on in there while they talk, typing frantically.

21. Would you ever collaborate with another writer for a story? Only if I knew them well, I think. I've done it before, with friends from previous fandoms, but that was mostly based on RP that we were doing at the time, which was much easier. I tried for an event last year but it didn't really work for me or my co-writer, largely, I think, because we didn't know each other, and we were both really busy with RL stuff. I think I'll stick to artist-author collab events in future, as that seems to be where my abilities are best suited these days.

42. What's the last fic you read? Do you recommend it? It was Love in a Time of Change, which is the first chapter of a Bard/Thranduil Regency AU by @myeaglesong and I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it - it's got lots of potential and I'm looking forward to more!

49. Do you ever get rude reviews and how do you deal with them? I've been lucky only to have had a small handful, and none of them really rude - someone got passive-aggressive when I posted Empty-Handed because it included spoilers for My Heart is an Empty Vessel, which I hadn't quite posted yet at the time, to which I gently pointed out that Bard eventually dying really wasn't a spoiler because, uh, he's mortal. And I've had a couple of odd ones here and there which weren't exactly rude, but also weren't really feedback on the story; there was one on a one-character-centric ficlet I posted which was solely wondering what happened to the other characters in the scene I was writing about - when they weren't even remotely the point of the story; that one got a gentle 'this story isn't about them, but there might be other stories about them eventually. anyway, I hope you liked this one!' because I thought they probably weren't being intentionally rude but hadn't quite picked up on the etiquette of leaving comments. I've been lucky not to receive any actual hate. Says I, tempting fate. :D

61. Why do you continue writing fics? Because the characters don't leave me with much alternative; they keep talking, so I keep writing. And I feel better when I write, happier, more at peace with the world. I may not have the biggest following or the most feedback, but there are a few people out there who seem to like what I do, and that's more than I could ask for, really. :)
