Tartan Day

Every year on 6 April, Scots and their descendants across the world celebrate Tartan Day—a commemoration of Scottish heritage, culture, and the lasting influence of the Scottish diaspora. While its roots are strongest in countries like the United States, Canada, and Australia, the celebration is tied to one of the most significant documents in Scottish history: the Declaration of Arbroath.

Aziraphale from Good Omens appeared in front of me in a tartan dress. He said, “Sometimes it takes more than a snap of your fingers to perform a miracle,” refused to elaborate and walked away.

There is no universe where you can convince me that Mr.Brown is not in love with Aziraphale.

Brown sits across from Aziraphale as soon as he sees him alone in the pub, and gets shooed away by a smug Crowley dressed like this.

Then he decides to go to a Meeting/Ball where almost everyone has a date, alone. And when his new outfit is revealed it is this:

Including the little hair swoosh! And the matching tartan vest. Upturned lapels on the jacket! People, he's wearing a turtleneck and a tartan vest. I think we need to find this man somebody to love before it's too late.

A textile-inspired tribute to Palestine, Turtle Island, Èire, Alba, and Korea.

Palestine should be free from the IOF.

I used Korean embroidery, Celtic Tartans, Turtle Island beadwork, and kufiya patterns of Palestinian origin as my muses. I limited the palette to colors used in the Palestinian Flag.

I decided to make this while abstaining from drawing characters.
