Panel one: The dominos continue to fall and time flows on as the Tribunal hunts for an elite never meant to leave,

Panel two: An angry soul searches for power,

Panel three: a daughter seeks revenge for all she has lost,

Panel four: and a family of misfits unaware of their falling tower. I’ll leave you here but like no worries!

Panel five: This isn’t the end… since there was no beginning.

Summary: Tang Shen was a student of the Tribunal who went out on a mission where she meet Yoshi and Saki. The trio befriended eachother and Shen fell in love with the freedom and little joys of life. She flees the Tribunal and told Yoshi and Saki about it. This begins Saki’s obsession with it. Shen obvi doesn’t spill the beans Bc she can see what Saki wants and what path that’ll lead him down.

Shen marries Yoshi and they have a baby named Miwa. Life is going well, until the Tribunal finds Shen. She flees with Miwa thinking Yoshi died at the hands of the ninja that are on her tail. Meanwhile, Yoshi comes home to see nothing but flames and ruin. He’s heartbroken and moves to America for a new life too grief stricken to remain amongst the reminders of their old life. They always had plans to see the world. Saki is left with no leads to the Tribunal, but that will not stop him.

Shen and Miwa are now on the run from the Tribunal. Yoshi dies after encountering one of Kraang’s bots in the same instant Splinter gets mutated along with some unsuspecting turtles. Saki discovers a helmet rumored to hold great power, hunts it down and ignores the warnings.

All their paths cross within the city that never sleeps…

Hamato Saki AU

When he learnt of his true origin, Oroku Hamato Saki sided with his adoptive family. Unlike his canon counterpart, he never tried to date Tang Shen, never set the fire, never killed her, and never stole Miwa.

Instead, he moved to New York along with them. He witnessed the mutations of his brother and the four turtles. However, the members of the Foot Clan in the canon world still know Saki. None of them are villains and instead help the turtles when facing other threats such as the Kraang and random mutants.

Characters:

Hamato Yoshi and the turtles: Their part is short because they're basically the same. Only difference is there's no Foot Clan to fight and Miwa and Shen are with them.

Tang Shen: Not dead. She's always been with Miwa and the turtles. A+++++ parenting. She's been trained in a little ninjutsu, just enough to defend herself but no where near the level of Yoshi, Saki, and the kids. Great friends with Kirby O'Neil too.

Hamato Saki: A lot, lot, lot, LOT more tame than Oroku Saki, but still has major anger issues. He’s Miwa and the turtles’ uncle and father figure to what would be the Foot Clan mutants. Never ends up mutated, never kills Splinter.

Hamato Miwa: Splinter’s daughter, the turtles’ older sister, Saki’s niece. She never ends up mutated, but is still dating Shinigami (and obviously never has that romance with Leo bc wtf)

Chris Bradford: Saki ran a dojo in New York for a few years where he met Chris Bradford. Since then, he’s trained as Saki’s protege. He does end up as a mutant in the Gauntlet episode and is double-mutated too, but the second time is caused by a fight with the Kraang.

Xever Montes: The Hamatos + Chris went on a trip to Brazil for *insert really good reason*. There, Miwa met a young Xever. Chris brought Xever back to New York with him, and he's been there ever since. And later on, yeah he gets mutated. Donnie builds his legs and breathing thing instead of Baxter.

Baxter Stockman: A criminal (sad guy with robots) who gets rehabilitated by the Hamatos. he works with them for a while, but betrays them in Baxter's Gambit in hopes of using his StockmanxTurtle Tech to rule the world, he doesn't and gets rehabilitated again, this time for good. He doesn't get mutated (he's honestly sad enough).

Tiger Claw: Knew Saki in Japan. After the Gauntlet, Saki calls TC to help out the Hamatos and is now one of their allies. However, that past with Alopex and the Kraang is hidden for ages.

Anton Zeck and Ivan Steranko: Ivan is an old friend of Saki's. After the Kraang invasion of s2 he joins the Hamatos with his boyfriend, Anton. Ivan's still an arms dealer but is very particular about who he sells to. Anton is not a thief, he's a DJ. They get mutated by the Kraang instead of Saki.

2012: Splinter's family

I wanted to Make a lil family tree post for 2012. This is just to toss them all into one post now that they've all been shared!! (shreds was the last to be posted) If you'd like more on Splints and his kids, I have a post about that here!

Shredder and splinter, bio brothers in this au, and also Tang Shen to start us off!! Also known as Shredderstar (formerly Poppystrike), Magnoliaclaw, and Spiritpool.

Karai, Mikey, and Donnie! Better known as Viperpaw, Frecklepaw, and Tallpaw! All three of them are a decent mix of their parents' colors

AND FINALLY!! Raph and Leo. Pricklepaw and Bravepaw. The two most like copies of their parents.

Leo's a bit lighter than his mom, and slightly more saturated. It'll be more obvious when I actually draw him, but he's also has a bit broader of a build, like splinter

similar color, similar markings, could almost be twins! Raph has green eyes though, and less white spotting, and is much smaller than his dad was at his age.

This one is of Tang Shen, Hamato Yoshi, and Oroku Saki. When they were younger, Shen, Yoshi, and Saki were best friends. When they were teenagers, both Yoshi and Saki fell in love with Shen. Shen loved them both, but only loved Yoshi romantically. Yoshi and Saki get into constant fights about how Yoshi “stole” Shen from Saki. Shen mourns the loss of her old friend group. After Saki finds out that his adoptive father had killed his real father, he kills his adoptive father and tries to kill Yoshi. Seeing this, Shen jumps in front of the attack, which causes her death. May or may not have cried making this ngl.

ooh I am deeply obsessed with these three, and they're not even my favorite! I just wish more was done with their relationship, Saki and Yoshi having a brotherly relationship and Tang Shen being their best friend, the tradgedy has been overlooked enough (it's actually what inspired me to create my own iteration)

So Shen dragged the man into parenthood by saying that this is his dead brother's daughter. The dude never dared to check. I think he just wanted a family. >w< So Oroku Saki. I gave him the 2003 design and basically the original mirage backstory. So yes. Splinter killed his brother who was basically an asshole.

Are any of the characters in the Actor AU different from their on-screen personas?

All the actors who play villains are completely different from the characters they play. Shredder for example, he’s actually a really nice guy and gets along great with the Turtle actors and Splinter. Him and Splinter in fact are long time friends and have worked together numerous times in the past.

I like to think that Shinigami isn’t actually goth and is actually a more bubbly colorful person.

The Turtles are roughly the same personality wise except for distinct things like Donnie isn’t actually a genius and Raph doesn’t have an explosive temper.

I’ve even considered Tang Shen to be a movie diva in the AU, opposite to her sweet nurturing character she plays in the show XD

Blast to The Past/Mission Accomplished AU

My mutual @solofanatic64 brought up this idea a few months ago, but a rewatch of this special made me think about it more.

After the Blast to the Past special, the turtles, Anton, and Ivan ended up in an alternate future where Shredder accomplished his mission - killing the turtles and taking over New York.

The group of 6 are now venturing through this city, where the Foot Clan have won. There’s no more Cronite that they can use to get back home. They need a way home, but also need to survive.

The turtles should be dead in this world. Saki killed his brother personally and had his henchmen kill the turtles. Who knows what would happen if the Hamato clan was found alive.

Anton and Ivan should be like this future’s version of them. Here, the Foot mutants have been brainwormed into being even more evil, to access their ‘full potential’. And anyone found stepping out of line turns up dead.

This Foot Clan is so different to what they're used to. It's not right.

Shredder has the abilities he did as his canon version’s mutant self, but retains his human form. The turtle’s shells and weapons and Splinter’s staff are hung up in his throne room as trophies. He won. The fucker controls New York now, acting as the city’s king. Anyone who steps out of line is taken out by his mutants. Now his next mission is to bring back Tang Shen.

Karai is once again his daughter, and has become second in command again. She also has a burn scar like in Broken Foot, Shredder told her not to heal it as a reminder of what happens when you can’t do your job well enough. She has her snake stuff, her sword, and a tessen that she took from April before ‘killing her’. Even though she’s been under control of a brainworm for years now, she still can’t help but feel a weird connection to the tessen.

TC uses dark magic like in the Kavaxas arc, only he’s much better at it. His eyes and finger tips have turned a black-purple and he has black-purple markings under his eyes. He usually has a cloak on (similar to the shredder cult one). His arm has even more weapons now (kinda like Sevika in Arcane). Alopex came back to the city not too long ago, but now her tail (and head) are his trophies. When citizens step out of line, he gets to choose if he wants to deal with them or if he lets one of the other mutants.

Chris is back to being the same ruthless ninja he was as a human, suit and everything. He was drowned like in Requiem and revived, and is like part ghost now. His eyes are gone and he’s blind, but fuck his other senses are so much stronger (kinda like Daredevil). He doesn’t speak much anymore, and spends most of his time in the dojo. His old dojos are running again, and most citizens are forced to enrol in them and join the Foot.

Xever has gone back to being as threatening and dangerous his human self was. A combination of Chris, his partner, dying, and the brainworm, drove him to basically insanity. If his canon self liked his death race, then this version really fucking LOVES his own death games, and there's a lot of them. This is where most out of line citizens end up. Chris is back now, but Xever's too far gone. His robot legs have a bunch of weapons and mechanisms in them now. His breathing device is also a lot sleeker and harder to damage now.

Baxter is not only a genius, but he can fight now too. He made the brainworms, he made them stronger and harder to remove, not knowing he would receive one too. He’s not as a great of a fighter as the others, but still pretty damn good. He uses a lot of weapons that he made himself, mostly guns. His wings also have blades on them now and he has a a second set of arms made of metal under his organic ones. He doesn’t usually get to handle out of line citizens because of how evil he can be. But when he does, they’re subjected to his cruellest experiments, and he won’t let the victim die for a long fucking time.

Anton’s tech suit is even more lethal now. He and Baxter combined their tech to make some real lethal shit, including TC and Xever’s robot limbs. His new suit has a bunch of gadgets yes, but it also lets him generate, control, and travel through electrical currents. These abilities are channeled through the purple lines fused to his skin. He also has an engagement ring from Ivan that he always wears, but they were brainwormed before they could get married. He doesn’t usually handle out of line citizens, but Ivan always joins when he does.

Ivan’s weapon arsenal has expanded greatly. His main thing is guns, but he’s happy to use his titanium hammer, and sickle too. The brass knuckle dusters and shoulder pads fused to his body have been combined with titanium to make them even stronger and he has titanium casing around his horn. His diamond eye is now diamond and robotic. He has heat seeking and other tracking technology in it now. Even though they’re brainwormed, Anton and Ivan still have a strong relationship, it’s just not really love. At the very least, however, they’re never far apart from each other.

The turtles, along with present Anton and Ivan, are doing their best to not get caught, but have already been in a couple of fights with the Foot mutants. Either way they need a way home. But it feels wrong to leave this world the way it is. They've seen this world's Foot, and they can see the desperation to be free in their eyes, and they know New York doesn't deserve Shredder's control...

So now, they'll try to save it.

Okay, I love the idea of a 2012 AU where Tang Shen got mutated rather than Splinter. Kinda makes you think the backstory is more like Splinter was killed by Shredder while Tang Shen escaped with Miwa. Then she fled to the US to escape Shredder, knowing he likely wouldn't stop pursuing her.

Also did Karai become a turtle too?
