[I.D. Three panel comic using TMNT 03 Bishop and Stockman and ROTTMNT Draxum. In the first panel the three are sitting on a couch with various grumpy expressions. Draxum is on the left end of the sofa. He leans his head back and sits with his legs spread, taking up space. Bishop is next to him, glaring at him. Stockman is on the right end, propping his elbow up on the arm rest and leaning on his hand, looking both bored and irritated.

In the second panel, Bishop and Draxum are shown in profile. Bishop grimaces in annoyance and says "Can you stop hogging the sofa and move your damn leg". Draxum responds "For you? Never."

The last panel is a closeup of Stockman as the other two loudly argue. He looks in their direction and thinks "I should not have let them sit next to each other should I ...I don't want to be between that mess though". End I.D.]

Literally nothing good would come of putting these three in a room together which is exactly why I think it should happen

Whumpuary #7: Unfair Fight

On a morning training exercise, Leo is ambushed and overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of the Foot clan.

I got a bit bored, and wondered how many different Metalheads there are, then was wondering which is the Favourite TMNT Bot, but that list is long, and I don't think I can make the poll have that many Choices.

In short a poll of mostly Metalhead variants was funny at the moment.

Poor Leo, being the oldest it's not easy, know he understands his Raph lol (Yeah, Mikey it's playing PS2)

This little AU I made it's bringing me so much ideas and I wanna draw them all. Like, the dynamics would be different from the originals, for example, Rise!Leo would be re responsable one only because there's no one else to be, but he doesn't have to worry, he has Mikey to help

so interesting how similar leo and raph are in 03

i havent really been taking notes as i go through the series, unlike with 2012, so i may have missed things/gotten details wrong, but this is one thing that struck me even without close scrutiny

like the time when they both strike out by themselves and are alone on a rooftop, so filled with anger that they can't help but scream out loud to no one about it

granted the two of them are angry at different things here, and maybe it's just a coincidence that the two of them ended up on a rooftop...but i can't help but feel that these instances are similar in a way

then that time when leo stops raph from going back down to the sewers because their enemies were on the lookout for them down there...

...only for Leo to attempt to go down to the sewers alone literally an episode later until splinter reads him

in front of everyone, leo agrees with splinter and says that the most important thing is that they're together as family. but by himself, leo thinks otherwise. plus some time must have passed, most likely contributing to leo's patience running out. and that's where splinter steps in. actually, leo's reasoning for going down there feels similar to something raph would say as well

when a brawl breaks out between leo and raph, mikey and donnie seem to imply that it happens quite frequently (even though i don't think they've had any major conflicts up until now so eh?) but maybe the intention was that they clash so much because of how similar they are.

in any case, ive only noticed this "similarity" between the two in the 03 series (i havent read the comics so i can't speak on those). in all of the other shows and movies ive seen, leo and raph don't feel similar like this at all...which is almost a shame because the whole tmnt mythos of "leo and raph always fight" kind of makes sense with these personalities? but it feels like some of the other iterations just take that premise without actually stopping to think about WHY they would be fighting and if it makes sense for that particular set of leo and raph. now you just have "leo and raph always fight because raph doesn't like leo's authority" which at this point just feels superficial to me

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (2003) OPENING

Thinking about the mechanics of a Rise x 2003 crossover and one funny way to do it would be to have the characters retain the characteristics of their genres regardless of which universe they're in.

So for example, one of the rise turtles gets smacked in the face and their teeth go flying everywhere and fall out of their mouth, as is standard for looney toons-esque cartoons and happens in rise at least once. This freaks out the 03 turtles, even more so when the rise turtle gets his teeth back in like 3 seconds once the bit of them flying everywhere is over.

Another example: the 03 turtles start getting shot at and casually/easily dodge the shots, to the utter amazement of the Rise turtles. Getting volleys of bullets and/or laser fire sent their direction is not a part of their genre, and so dodging gunfire is not something any of them have in their skill set.
