Disaster Twins Karaoke Battle (alt title: Getting Hyped for the Next Lair Games)

These sketches are old, but I couldn't let National TMNT Day pass without showing my appreciation in some way. I drew these some months ago, while listening to the song Stalemate from the Death Note musical yes, that's a thing, go check it out on loop, and forgot to post them. The song is a bop and I could so easily see the twins loving it, and loving to perform it even more. Massive theatre nerds, the both of them, no one can convince me otherwise.

(In my mind, Leo is singing Jeremy's part and Donnie is singing Jarrod's, but it's interchangeable.)

In addition to this: Tian Jiarui helps Lin Ziye with his math homework while using different Chinese dialects.

This time I was too lazy to translate this one but you'll hear the difference in pronunciation immediately. He's just so good at it.

Lin Ziye also said on Weibo that Tian Jiarui was tutoring him in different subjects for school during breaks, and he considered him to be a good teacher.

Closing Week for Macbeth at the Harold Pinter Theatre - celebrating the kids' final performances

Three young boys (Casper Knopf, Theo Wake, and Raffi Phillips) shared the role of Macduff's son/Fleance/Young Siward - and they were all excellent. On each of the boys' final performances, the cast celebrated them during the curtain call.

Life is a cabaret, and my heart has never seen it more clearly.

The past six months have been a journey of self discovery and awakening. Witnessing the tireless dedication of the crew, working long hours to bring the show to life eight times a week, has been nothing short of inspiring and the remarkable cast continues to push me to be better every single night. While tears may sometimes fall, I have learned to pick myself up and keep moving forward.

To Eddie, Gayle, and Ato, your vulnerability has taught me that true strength lies in embracing our emotions and pushing onward. So thank you all and here’s to life’s cabaret and the lessons it teaches us!

we really don't talk enough about how cesare (who proclaims himself to be honorable) actually has an extreme level of self-absorption and narcissism. they jump out on different situations especially in his vindictive sexual harassment of the women he slept with for wounding his ego. like his abuse of ursula (who was deceived by his chivalrous façade) for leaving him and taking a will of her own vs. his aggressive grabbing of caterina's breast when she taunted him at his sister's wedding (shows that he's still bitter over her rejecting him at forli).
