Good morning, Bunny. Here's my third Takumi request. After another argument with Takumi about his fangirls that results in a cold war for almost two weeks, Isami decides to play intervention because he's just tired of hearing his brother's TMI moans at night.

The argument had started over something small, as it always did: Takumi’s fangirls.

“Why can’t you just tell them to back off?” you’d snapped, crossing your arms.

“And what am I supposed to do, Y/N? Post a sign that says, ‘Stay away, I’m taken’? They’re just fans!” he shot back, his hands gesturing wildly in frustration.

It escalated quickly from there. Words were exchanged, some sharper than either of you intended, and by the end of it, both of you were too stubborn to apologize.

Now, nearly two weeks had passed, and the tension between you and Takumi was unbearable. The once warm, playful dynamic between you had been replaced by awkward silences and curt replies. Even Isami, Takumi’s usually patient younger brother, was reaching his limit.

“Takumi,” Isami groaned one evening, leaning against the kitchen counter as his brother stared at his phone for the hundredth time that day. “Just talk to her already.”

Takumi scowled, locking his phone and shoving it into his pocket. “She’s the one who started this. Why should I—”

“You’re the one who can’t stop complaining about how much you miss her!” Isami interrupted, throwing his hands up. “Every night, I have to hear you moan about how you messed up or how much you want to see her. It’s driving me insane.”

Takumi’s ears turned red. “I don’t—”

“You do,” Isami said flatly, cutting him off. “And I’m done. So, here’s what’s going to happen: I’m calling Y/N over for dinner tomorrow, and you two are going to talk like adults. If you don’t, I’m locking you in the pantry together until you figure it out.”

When you arrived at the Aldini brothers’ place the next evening, you weren’t sure what to expect. Isami had been cryptic on the phone, promising only that he needed help with something important.

“Thanks for coming, Y/N,” Isami said with a warm smile as he let you in. “Dinner’s almost ready. Takumi’s in the kitchen.”

Your heart sank. You hadn’t seen Takumi since the fight, and the idea of facing him now made your stomach churn.

“Uh, maybe I should—”

“Stay,” Isami said firmly, his smile unwavering. “Trust me.”

Before you could protest, he disappeared into the kitchen, leaving you standing awkwardly in the hallway.

When you stepped into the kitchen, you found Takumi chopping vegetables, his movements sharp and precise. He glanced up when he saw you, his blue eyes widening in surprise before narrowing slightly.

“Y/N,” he said, his voice carefully neutral.

“Hi,” you replied softly, your fingers fiddling with the hem of your shirt.

The silence stretched between you, thick with unresolved tension. Finally, Takumi set his knife down with a sigh.

“Look,” he began, running a hand through his hair, “I don’t want to keep fighting with you.”

You blinked, startled by his sudden admission. “I don’t either,” you admitted. “But... you have to understand how it feels for me. Seeing all those girls fawning over you, acting like I don’t exist—it hurts, Takumi.”

His expression softened, guilt flickering across his face. “I didn’t mean to make you feel like that. I just... I didn’t know how to handle it without making a scene.”

“I’m not asking for a scene,” you said quietly. “I just need to know that you’re on my side, that you see me.”

He stepped closer, his hand reaching for yours. “I do see you, Y/N. You’re the only one I see. I’m sorry for not making that clear.”

From the doorway, Isami cleared his throat loudly. “Glad to see you two finally talking. Now, can we eat? I didn’t slave over this meal for nothing.”

You and Takumi both turned, startled to find Isami watching with an amused smirk.

“Thank you, Isami,” Takumi said dryly, though there was a hint of a smile tugging at his lips.

“Anytime,” Isami replied, giving a mock salute before disappearing into the dining room.

As you sat down to eat, the tension between you and Takumi eased, replaced by the familiar warmth and banter you’d missed so much.

Later that evening, after Isami had retreated to his room, you and Takumi found yourselves alone in the living room. He sat beside you, his hand resting lightly on your knee.

“I really am sorry,” he said, his voice low.

“I know,” you replied, leaning your head against his shoulder. “And for the record, I missed you too.”

He chuckled softly, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “Good. Because I don’t think I could stand another night of Isami’s lectures.”

You laughed, the sound light and genuine, and for the first time in weeks, everything felt right again.

“Everything is here. The cake is cooling in the fridge, The fondant is rolled and properly colored and the frosting is-'' I pause my listing as I realize the frosting isn't where I left it. “Huh?” Did I misplace it or something? “Could've sworn I left it right here.” I blink twice in an attempt to backtrack from when I had it. “Okay, so I remember grabbing the ingredients from the fridge, then setting them right here,” pointing to the counter as I pull a pout. “Then I brought out the stand mixer and began making it. Afterward, I turned away to put the mixer away but when I turned back I still remember seeing it.” I close my eyes in hopes that’ll jog my memory, “Then I ran to my room to get my molding knives and called Soma in to watch the Strawberry puree boiling.” Wait. I called Soma. “I came back and that's when I don't recall seeing it.” That bastard. “SOMA!” I yell throughout the dorm as I dash to his room in a fit of annoyance. As I made my way past several of my roommates, they each gave a fearful expression and made way for me to get by. I clutch the doorknob, slamming the door wide open as I catch the thief red-handed. He had the spoon halfway in his mouth as the frosting was mostly gone, eyes slightly dilating at my entrance. “Oh, Uh...Hey Y/n.” I glare at him, “Why are you eating my frosting.” He looks anywhere but my gaze as he lets out a nervous chuckle, “It looked good so I took a bit and then a bit turned into a spoonful, and well you see what happened.” I sigh, “Whatever, just know you’re making me dinner for the next month for that.” He smirks, “Why say that like it's a bad thing? I love making food for you, Y/n.” My heart warms at his sentiment, “Yeah yeah.” I make my way to close the door but stop just short to peek my head in, “However, do that again and I’ll make sure the only thing you can eat is frosting.” He drops his smile to replace it with worry at my threat, “Yes ma’am.” I close the door and shake my head, too touched to be truly mad. “He thought it was that good?” I let out a breathy laugh on my way back to the kitchen to remake it, “Stop making me want you to come back to steal my food you idiot.”

-Very proud of you 

-However, he isn't very keen on showing it so you’ll have to be patient

-There are some things you add in that even he doesn't sniff out which is probably the only time he’ll get curious and ask about it

“Making something new? What crazy ingredient did you add this time, hm?”

-May act all mean but he is actually very excited when you come to let him try your food

         -Never call him out though, he’ll always deny it

- “This again? Still hard at work trying to perfect it, are you? Fine ill have a taste.”

-Don't let the facade fool you, he’d hate if you asked anyone else to try your food.

       -Can be a bit childish when it comes to that

“Is it too salty?” He smacks his lips a few times, taking in the flavor. “If anything it's a bit lumpy, kinda dry too.” I scrunch my face, “Odd. Could've sworn I kept the heat low enough. Guess I wasn't paying enough attention.” He tilts his head, “The flavors aren't bad though, honestly pretty perfect if you ask me.” I give a small smile, delighted by his praise. “Sorry to drag you all the way here for this Soma.” He gives a low chuckle, “No problem. I'm always down to taste test, especially your amazing food!” I grab the plate with the crumbs of the cake I had recently made and brought it to the sink, “You do not need to flatter me.” He shakes his head, “No flattery needed. You’re talented, nothing to sugar coat y’know.” I wasn't sure how to respond to such blatant compliments so I settled for a small lopsided grin.  “Thanks, that means a lot. Especially coming from the first seat of the council himself.” A light pink brushed his cheeks, “Now whos doing the flattering? It's nothing to brag about. I do have a lot I must improve on.” His ability to grow never ceases to surprise me, “You have quite the determined spirit, it's admirable.” 

“Yeah, I'm sure he's quite the guy.” 

We both turn to the voice that chimed in, “Ah, Akira, how's it going?” Soma inquires with his usual enthusiasm but the albino doesn't share the sentiment. “Fine. What's happening here?” I don't miss his dismissive tone as he turns himself to me. “Soma was just taste-testing a recent cake I was making.” He narrowed his eyes for a moment, “Well how's that going?” He asked but I'm certain he didn't really want the honest answer to that. “Still need some tweaking, but good overall.” He folds his arms, “Well I'm glad he's been of assistance. Now I think thats enough for today, it's getting late.” Its 6:30… Soma chirps up, “Well i gotta head out, needa prepare some stuff for tomorrow's food war, see ya’!” He waves as he leaves the room, and for a split second, you could see a glint of a smirk on Akira’s face.

“You’re such a jealous child.”

“Shut up.”

“You know I'm right.” He pulls me in, pressing a warm kiss to my forehead, “You don't need him to taste your food. I was here y’know.” I rest on his chest, “You never really seemed interested in tasting my food so I asked Soma since he wasn't busy.” He tightens his grip, “Don't do that again. Just come to me and ill give you feedback.” I give a knowing smile but don't comment on his obvious jealousy, “Well ill keep that in mind.”

-A true sweetheart honestly

-Will 100% help you with your sweets and pastries as the loving girlfriend she is

-Baking dates every weekend is a must

I carefully dusted the final touches of powdered sugar onto the delicate pastries, admiring the golden crust and the perfectly piped cream filling. My heart swelled with pride as I surveyed the display of my creations in the bakery. This was my passion, my art—the result of years of dedication and hard work.

Just as I was about to take a step back to fully appreciate the beauty before me, I felt a pair of arms wrapping around my waist. Takumi, my Italian chef boyfriend, nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck, his warm breath sending shivers down my spine.

"Y/n, these look amazing," he murmured, his voice filled with admiration. "But you know, there's something missing."

I turned my head to catch a glimpse of his mischievous smile. "Oh? And what might that be?"

He pouted playfully, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Well, you see, I've been craving your sweet treats all day. You can't just tempt me with these delectable pastries and not save a few for your beloved Italian chef."

I couldn't help but chuckle at his theatrics. Takumi had a way of tugging at my heartstrings with his charm and infectious enthusiasm for food.

"All right, all right," I relented, unable to resist his request. "I'll save a couple of pastries just for you. But you better be prepared to savor every bite, Takumi."

He grinned triumphantly, his eyes gleaming with delight. "That's what I like to hear, Y/n. You know just how to make me happy."

As I carefully set aside a small box of pastries reserved exclusively for him, I couldn't help but marvel at the power food had to bring us closer. Our shared love for culinary delights was a bond that we cherished—a language of flavors and textures that spoke volumes in our relationship.

And so, with a secret stash of pastries hidden away, I looked forward to the moment when Takumi would indulge in my sweet creations. Because in those moments, as he savored every bite, I knew that our connection was strengthened, and our love for each other grew sweeter, one dessert at a time.

I love this- but I must make two small suggestions

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch - Both. It starts with Soma doing it just because he has some downtime in the middle of the day, but Takumi takes it as a challenge. “Oh, so you think you’re better than me? I’M THE BEST CHEF IN THIS RELATIONSHIP, YUKIHIRA!” So he starts doing it. They go back and forth sneaking meals (and whatever horrifying squid concoction Yukihira’s made this time) to each other at work until it comes to a point where they bump into each other in a back alley with take-away boxes in hand. They stop for a moment, recognizing the other, before chuckling and trading boxes. They sit down in the alley critiquing each other’s dish and insisting their’s is better.

And as for Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower- I’m sorry but Takumi would be in the middle of showering like normal until Soma walks in like it’s nothing.

Takumi: WHAT ARE YOU DOING, I’M IN THE SHOWER!

Dorm Room Dancing (Food Wars)

Heyo! I hadn’t realized it, but I made this dabble for @jumiii and completely forgot about it T-T My apologies friend! I hope you like it, delayed as it is!

When Takuma walked through the door of his and Soma’s shared apartment, he smelled home.

Whiffs of garlic and tomatoes roasting together harmoniously encased him, taking him back to his family’s estate, right in their kitchen back in Italy. His father’s guiding words entwined with laughter as he and Isami learned to make homemade pasta. The sound of their small radio sitting in an open window, a woman singing of an old love to a somber yet beautiful musical track. Memories Takumi could never forget as he walked towards the source of the smell.

He found Soma working away, bandana pulled across his forehead as he stirred what looked to be some sort of red sauce. He was a picture of calm, swaying to a song on the radio. When Takumi walked closer, he could hear Soma singing along under his breath.

“~Track suits and red wine, movies for two. We’ll take off our phones, And we’ll turn off our shoes~”

His voice was low and raspy sounding, clearly lost in memory as he set the sauce to simmer. He moved on to work on what looked to be homemade bread, gathering a bowl of garlic butter and coating the slices delicately. Clumps of fresh pasta sat by on the floured counter, ready to be tossed into boiling water towards the end.

He was making one of the first dishes Takumi ever made for them.

Takumi felt his chest begin to flutter.

“~We’ll play nintendo, though I always lose. ‘Cause you watch the TV, while I’m watching you~”.” He smiled as he sang, placing the bread onto a tray to cook.

Takumi leaned against the doorframe, smiling behind his hand as he watched his boyfriend go about. His heart was pounding a thousand miles a minute as he felt himself fall for the redhead all over. Even after being together for two years, he couldn’t help but be smitten over the smallest of things.

“~There’s not many people, I’d honestly say, I don’t mind losing to.~” Soma turned, stumbling over his words when he saw Takumi. Recovering quickly, he slowly made his way over, taking the blonde’s hand in his and pulling him close, carrying on the song. “But there’s nothing, like doing nothing, with you~”

Before he knew it, they were dancing. Soma’s voice carried them through the lyrics as he gently twirled Takumi about, grinning at the permanent blush staining Takumi’s cheeks. He was surprisingly good at it, guiding them around the room with effortless grace, eyes never breaking away as he sang along with the sweet words filling the room. They held so much warmth and love in them it was almost overwhelming, but Takumi wouldn’t look away.

“~You could be dancing on tabletops, wearing high heels. Drinking until the world spins like a wheel. But tonight our apartment has so much appeal, who needs stars? We’ve got a roof~” Soma pulled him into his chest as the song reached its ending, resting his forehead against Takumi’s, arms coming around his waist, rocking him gently as he finished the song. “~There is nothing, like doing nothing, with you~”

As the song finished, he leaned in gently, capturing the other’s lips with his own. Warmth radiated through Takumi’s entire being, curling his toes and leaving him feeling breathless. He returned the kiss just as gently, wrapping his arms loosely around the taller boy’s neck as he melted within his arms.

When they pulled away, both flushed and smiling, Soma gently reached up, brushing his thumb against the other’s cheek. 

“Welcome home, love.”

The quiet buzz of Totsuki’s academy grounds was a welcome break after an intense cooking session. Takumi Aldini, as always, carried himself with calm confidence, though he had become adept at dodging a certain brand of attention—the persistent advances of his fan club president.

Today, however, the fan club leader had decided to try again, summoning all her courage to confront him outside the Aldini twins’ dormitory.

“Takumi-kun,” she began, her cheeks flushed as she clutched a small, wrapped box of handmade cookies. “I... I just wanted to tell you again how I feel. I’ve admired you for so long, and I made these for you!”

Takumi sighed inwardly, though his expression remained polite. Before he could respond, Isami, standing beside him, took one look at his brother’s exasperated expression and decided to step in.

“Listen,” Isami began, his tone kind but firm. “I think you’re missing something important here. Takumi’s not available.”

The fan club president blinked, confused. “Not available? What do you mean?”

Isami gave her a knowing smile, crossing his arms. “He’s been engaged since we were kids. His fiancée is from a long line of confectioners.”

Her eyes widened in shock. “Engaged?! Since childhood?!”

Takumi, sensing her disbelief, decided to add his own clarification. “It’s true,” he said, stepping forward. “She’s currently in Germany, studying to become a world-class chocolatier. She’s as passionate about her craft as I am about cooking, and I couldn’t be prouder of her.”

The girl’s grip on the box of cookies tightened as she tried to process what she was hearing. “Oh... I didn’t know.”

Takumi offered her a polite, almost apologetic smile. “I appreciate your feelings, but my heart has always been with her. I hope you understand.”

The fan club president gave a small, shaky nod, mumbling a goodbye before turning and walking away, her shoulders slumped in defeat.

As soon as she disappeared, Isami let out a loud laugh, clapping his brother on the shoulder. “You owe me for saving you from another awkward confession!”

Takumi sighed, shaking his head. “I could’ve handled it myself.”

“Oh, sure,” Isami teased. “By standing there like a statue until she got the hint? You’re welcome, by the way.”

Takumi couldn’t help but chuckle, finally relaxing. “I guess I do owe you. Just don’t expect me to clean up after you in the kitchen tonight.”

Isami grinned. “Fair trade. I’ll handle dinner prep if you promise to finally send that letter to your fiancée. She’s probably waiting to hear about all this.”

Takumi’s expression softened at the thought of you, and he nodded. “Yeah... I’ll write to her tonight.”

A neatly addressed envelope caught your eye, sitting atop the stack of mail on the kitchen counter. Your name was written in Takumi’s familiar handwriting, and your heart skipped a beat as you eagerly tore it open.

Inside was a handwritten letter, the kind he always sent, filled with updates, warm words, and his steady affection:

I hope this letter finds you well. Totsuki keeps me busy as always, but I find myself thinking of you often, wondering how you’re doing with your studies in Germany. Food Wars! Shokugeki no Souma in: Going Grocery Shopping

(Thank you so much for 40 notes! Here's another one for you guys. Sorry i couldn't do a short story for these but take some headcanons my dears.)

Sōma Yukihira

-Usually you cant take him anywhere because he causes an issue in which you have to be asked to leave (much to your despair)

-The grocery store is probably the only place you two can go without much problems

-May or may not be sneaking ingredients that werent on your list into the shopping cart

"Oh? What do you mean there werent any Rice crackers and Salmon in the cart before? I'm certain you put them in."

-Will asked to be pushed in the cart around the aisles

-If he ever gets lost, find him in the Frozen Dessert aisle, he loves it there for whatever reason

"C'mon Babeeee. Just one more tub of Ice cream.....Yes i know we already have 4 tubs already. Your point is?"

-However if you were shopping for a food war/cooking practice, he'd be very helpful

-Recommending ingredients, telling you the best flavor combinations from his experience, and slipping in a few personal items

-Overall, hes a massive child in the store so please hold his hand so he doesn't run off

-A rollercoaster of emotions

-Its like stepping into a whole other world when you food shop with him

-He tends to find the items in the store "Sub par" and "Second rate" but always picks the best ones with his well trained sense of smell

"Why bother buying from these cheap stores when i have fresh spices and blends at home?"

-He'd swear he hates shopping with you but secretly enjoys the time he spends with you (Good luck getting him to admit it though)

-May subtly tease and feign ignorance when you need help reaching something at a higher shelf

"Hm? Cant you reach it on your own from down there?” -pause- “Whats that look on your face for?"

-On rare occasions, he'll hold your hand when you go together

-He swears its just so that you dont get lost but you know better

i imagined this one scenario where you and him are casually taking a stroll in town and then when you came across something you wanted to eat, you were hesitant into getting it until soma noticed and was like “oh, you want to try those? i’ll get some for us to try!”

and then.. he got challenged into a shokugeki because of his reputation. which of course he accepts because soma is soma. but newsflash, he won of course because he’s soma <3 plot armor *coughs*

but you both enjoyed their food <3 soma gives them tips as well

when y o u get challenged to a shokugeki with HIM just idling standing by, he’s literally like: “woah there, challenging them on the spot? wrong move. do you know who you’re facing?” with that smirk on his face.
