Damian's settling into the family who encourages all the healthy hobbies he's interested in. They ain't interested in little child getting in danger on the streets but want him (like all of them thanks to Bruce and Alfred) to have a happy childhood. (When he gets to adulting age, he can decide if he wanna join the midnight bashing heads club)

Anyway, it means a lot of positive reinforcement for non violent interests.

In Damian's case: animals, music (specifically violin) and painting

Now imagine the night's pretty casual, rather quiet and peaceful for Gotham standards so everyone's calling it a night and return early from patrol. They come back and hear -

The rooster.

Cue in Damian playing violin with the rooster on his head, the bird adding the necessary flair in the pauses

Kinda like in the image below but it's violin instead of piano and the middle of the night instead of day.
