Takaginzura kids HC : if someone have a nightmare what the other will do ?!

Okay I kinda showed this in my fic but when Gintoki has a nightmare the other two just start talking and trying to slowly snap him out of it. Sometimes Gintoki's nightmares are so intense that there's nothing they can do and they have to wake up Shoyo to help.

Zura just cries when he has a nightmare. Takasugi and Gintoki have to clamp his mouth closed to avoid waking up literally anyone within a mile. Zura however doesn't mind this as it makes them easier to hug and helps him calm down.

Takasugi would never admit he had a nightmare. He would just wake up with a gasp and try to go back to sleep. Gintoki would obviously get woken up and start snickering at him. Then they start bickering and wake Zura up and then they're all wrestling until they either get too tired or wake up Shoyo

Favorite story you’ve written so far: okay okay, ahaha. so i'm stupidly fond of La Perm and still waters. La Perm, i sometimes go back to and hmm, reading it over, sometimes i think that it's not my best, but it felt like my best at the time, as every latest thing i've written does, so it's fine! that fic makes me emotional in a very special way, since it's almost a tribute to my prickly neighbourhood stray, opung/grandpapa. and then still waters, aha—i've said it before, but the absolute joy it brought the person i wrote for may have cemented its inherent value in my heart

Fic you were nervous to post: ahhhhh. i think. hmm. i used to be nervous about posting anything, really, before i suddenly was overcome by a stunning blitheness in attitude. but out of everything i've posted, it would probably be root cave and in the hands of strange creatures, solely because of the character pairing/shippy take on that relationship dynamic that i wrote about. root cave was especially charged with emotion and effort, ahaha. i know it's not everybody's thing, but ahaha, it just speaks to a very tender part of me, and though i was a little skittish about putting it on ao3, i am glad to be able to express my emotions through extremely pretentious prose

How do you choose your titles: i really really love thieving little lines from poems that i feel encapsulate at least some of the energy in that fic, or for the characters i'm writing about, or even maybe just the setting. ahaha i even have a list of small lines from poems. but sometimes i also use song titles, or just phrases in general, maybe even one or two thematic and/ or evocative words to set a mood before the story even begins!!

Do you outline: i? hmm. i'm not sure whether you could call it outlining, but i often split a fic i am working on into sections and then puts lines of description or narration or dialogue to act as markers for what i want the scene to be like when it's finished? but that's more to set a certain mood than to outline any sort of plot, especially because i so often dedicate myself to shortfics and ficlets and drabbles and snippets!! it is oneshots galore!!

Complete: 33 (oh my goodness that is a lot of, albeit short, oneshots)

In progress: on the archive? 3! in my deeply unorganised google drive folders?? a million hundred thousand, oh, i have a great many ideas and a stubborn pressing need to share them all

Coming soon: ohoho coming soon is Who knows?? not me, oh, gosh, not at all. who knows what i will haze through next? but if i am to have my way, coming soon will be a taka-gin infused glimpse of the atla au shoka sonjuku!! a next installment in the rather untidy gintama atla au that i have cooked up in my head!!!!!

Upcoming work you’re most excited about: oh, i think. that would be the Yet Another Shoyo Contemplation but from the perspectives of takaginzura, and with like, bird metaphors?? or symbolism?? i have Not written this, but. i think. i think zura would think of shoyo as a hawk, or an eagle, perhaps. and takasugi,, hmm. for takasugi, shoyo would be a crane. and for gintoki, shoyo would be a sparrow. the small brown ones that fly over the rice fields? i think i should ramble about this somewhere else ahaha

EHEHE THANKS FOR LETTING ME PLAY TOYS. joui4[they were fighting the joui*-amanto war and there were four of 'em]. how many permutations is that allowing for more than two at once. probably too many for one ask.

take as a given ginzura and takagin -> MAXIMUM MAKE SENSE AND COMPEL ME. both have like real. you do not have to stretch That far to read them as romantically devoted or at least uniquely devoted in a way that gin doesnt Devote to people. presently and ongoingly, not just from their history.

takazura - their whole dynamic like. exists in the margins. u have as facts in the 'makes sense' column that they knew each other first as kids, kid zura watched out for kid takasugi, and adult zura initiated the friend breakup. what either one felt abt it is left open. so they compel me greatly in the sense that i am driven to fill in all those blanks in a canon compatible way. somehow both the strongest and the weakest leg [the least eros as lack. not very psychosexual. but a very very sweet sense of stability to imagine. and compelling to imagine unnerving gintoki to see sugi in sweet stability]

sakamoto/zura - doesnt make sense in that to me they cant hook up its not possible in any universes lol. but if it was in front of me it would compel me. WAIT actually i did read a really good sakazura fic. COMPELS ME

sakamoto/the other two - COMPELS ME GREATLY. DOESNT MAKE SENSE IN THE WAY THAT IT WORKS. in a way i dont know how to word for u lol. hes very unlike anyone the other two have big dynamics with and somehow this naturally elevates sakamoto to godlike boyfriend status to them even tho hes stupid and obnoxious and infuriating. hes like a gintoki if gintoki was less of a loser but still had commitment aversion. hes the only person who still thinks fondly of takasugi. hes kim dokja but he'll actually top you. hes just some guy that showed up

three or four of them at once in any configuration -> i read a sweet takaginzura fic last night and it emotionally scared and overwhelmed me kjsdfg i cant handle that. i dont know if they can stably. compelling!!!!!!!!

ACTUALLY if i can apply my eros readings to sakamoto. as practice for understanding my eros readings bc im compelled by this new bit of them. eros/desire is defined as lack as in, its argued, u only feel passionate drive for what u dont have.

and what u dont have is necessarily something that is not present in or missing from you, a hole. but that also defines desire as identification - when you identify that you are missing something, you introduce the idea that you would be a more complete you if you possessed it, which is just like saying that you are already you + that thing, theoretically. [weird gay identity theft]

and i think what makes sakamoto the shiny new toy even tho he sucks and is just some guy is like. takaginzura have a decade of growing up together to develop their more or less stable trio of eros. the sexy bit in the middle of the eros logic im eliding is that its, by several physical and metaphysical arguments, impossible to ever reach completion/achieve Oneness. but u can cheat that and get to approximate 1 with math easy street. they are approximate 1.

so then. as a unit. now this new thing comes along that is /not you/ and possesses things you dont have [experiences that arent shaped by a decade of being a weird gay identity theft trio] and also saw you and your boyfriends from across the battlefield and really really really wants in. and also he'll top you. he very easily becomes the new Other to be driven to invention of math and language in order to incorporate into yourself!

Hmmmm I feel if Gintoki were sad their first instinct would be to get him something sweet. Just a treat to make him feel better. I feel like young Gintoki is the type to need to think through his emotions, and so they would most likely just sit with him, probably after asking Shoyo for advice. Which is good because any other tactic probably would've made Gintoki spiral.

For Zura, I think they might just start talking to him, honestly. Like, I feel Gintoki would say something absolutely absurdly stupid to try to shake him out of it. Heck, Takasugi would probably yell at him for it and they would start to play fight, making Zura laugh in the process. And Idk maybe Gintoki would then giggle and give him a hug. That would be cute.

Takasugi. Hm... Okay like, I feel Zura would try to make him spar or train to get his mind off it, and Takasugi would yell at him. Takasugi seems the type to yell at others when he's sad, and also the type to cry when he's angry(when he was a kid, I mean). Meanwhile, I think Gintoki's tactic would be to make fun of him or rile him up to the point of a fight. Gintoki would just let Takasugi beat the crap out of him until he felt better. Shoyo thinks Gintoki needs to change this strategy.

Ur takaginzura first kiss HC :

the only one i can bear thinking about is theeeeeeeeeeeee softest head-cradling all-20-years-of-feelings-about-you cards on the table reunion first kiss of takagin after takasugi [is revived/miraculously crawls out of the rubble alive] and shamefully shows up at gintokis door. and i cant bear it for very long lol

tho i do have an image in my head for months of. if it takes them an awkward week to get that point. that first night of having an alive and whole and unmotivated-by-revenge takasugi in his home gintoki having zero idea what to do about that. also doesnt have any ability to host people that havent broken into his home and arent sleeping in his closet/mirror doesnt know where to put him. cant decide to give him his own futon and take the couch or be gintoki-mean and make him take the couch. settles on one but then just stands in the doorway with the lights off staring at him wordlessly for ages and takasugi [immediatey pretended to fall asleep so he didnt have to talk to gintoki more but feels it like a laser beam] doesnt know what to do about That. horribly awkward finding-your-place-again time that i love lol
