Koichi Yamadera Reprises His Role as Shouyou Yoshida in "Gintama" Live-Action Film
The official Twitter for the highly anticipated live-action film adaptation of Hideaki Sorachi's action comedy manga Gintama announced today that 56-year-old voice actor Koichi Yamadera, who voiced Shouyou Yoshida in the manga's anime adaptations, voices the character in the film as well.
The character is the head of a private school named Shokason-juku and the mentor of Gintoki Sakata, Shinsuke Takasugi, and Kogoro Katsura in their childhood. He was a father figure to Gintoki who was a war orphan. Yamadera voiced the character in the Gintama TV series and the 2010 feature film Gintama: Shin'yaku Benizakura-Hen.

The Yuichi Fukuda (Hentai Kamen)-directed film is set to be released in Japan on July 14. Prior to
the theatrical release, the film's Japan premiere screening event will be held at Tokyo Dome City

Obligatory reblog ramblings
At first this was a thing to make fun of Oboro, for some reason, one day chatting with Seb, I told her something about Oboro being Heidi running through the alps, and she told me, you should draw it. Then I forgot. Then I remembered. Then I thought what if Heidi's goat and dog? Then I found a drawing of Heidi kind of doing ballet (look, not my area) and thought, what if Shokason mother's day play and Zura director!!! So here we are. (also, Heidi's dog was gonna be originaly Hasegawa but my brain wanted to make a little bit of sense, so Gintoki lost his lawyer glasses and Hasegawa lost his job, but what's new?)
