I really think like. You should be aware of what you are and aren't good at, especially when it comes to deciding whether to have children. BUT I also think that a lot of people say they'd be bad parents and are just like wrong. If you don't want kids, say that. But its really common to see people using that as an excuse when it really doesnt seem true. Plus im pretty sure most of those people dont even really understand what "maternal" means.

No, you don't have to have always been the "mom friend" to have kids. No, you don't have to have good parents to have kids. Theres plenty of good reasons not to become a parent but those are not among them.
