I combined three requests (I have done this for a lot of these- they just fit so well together some of them- I hope you don't mind). And since I can't find what kind of pet snake he has, Lucanis has a ball python. Why? Again, because I can and two because they have long lifespans long enough that he could still have Tartaglia. I chose to believe Viago took care of her while Lucanis was imprisoned.

"And so there I was, walking into the parlor of the villa, looking like a drowned rat, tracking mud all over the floors."
Canelo looked up at him over the rim of his small glass of wine. The vintage was one that Lucanis had bought many years and had kept to eventually share with someone special. Canelo had given him a soft smile and accepted a small glass but only one. Lucanis had practically beamed on the inside that he finally had someone he could to share it with, let alone someone he wanted share it with.
Better late than never, he thought.
"You spoil Tartaglia. All that for one mouse. Aren't there vendors for that sort of thing to sell live mice for a snake?"
"No. Well yes, but I was twelve and had no idea where to find one."
Canelo set down his glass on the table near the fireplace. "Bet Catarina loved that. All that mud on her precious marble."
Lucanis chuckled. "That is where the story gets less believable. But I swear on my life, on your life it is true. I dropped the mouse into Tagliatella's tank and then ran back downstairs to clean it up. Only by then it had begun to dry. I could not find a mop. So I did the only think twelve year old me could think of."
Canelo crossed his legs, resting his ankle on his knee, leaning back in his chair, his posture open and unguarded…free. "And that was what? To blame Illario?"
"No. That would have been far more logical." He took a drink of his wine, muttering into his glass, "I went and caught a nug to release in the parlor."
"I'm sorry what was that?"
"I released a muddy nug into the parlor."
The warm sound of Canelo's laughter caught him by surprise. It wasn't merely a polite chuckle, but a deep rumbling thing that started in his chest raising until it broke free, filling all the empty spaces in the room until even the air was saturated with it. It lilted, if laughter that deep in tone could lilt, and Lucanis' breath caught in his throat. He'd only heard the briefest snort of amusement from Canelo before, but this? This was the most beautiful sound Lucanis had ever heard, the carefree and elated look on Canelo's face the most beautiful sight Lucanis had ever seen.
He was in awe of it.
Before the clouds of doom that hung perpetually over his head could talk him out of it, Lucanis closed the space and kissed him, laughing himself as their teeth knocked together. It was clumsy; he initially missed Canelo's mouth, but they were laughing and Canelo was happy. You did that. He's smiling and laughing because of you.
Something like pride welled up in his chest.
"WE MADE HIM SMILE! MAKE HIM DO THAT ALL THE TIME" Spite echoed in his head, and for once Lucanis had to agree with him.
The faint taste of the Salle Red lingered on Canelo's lips, but Lucanis knew it wasn't the wine making him lightheaded. It had been many years since he'd kissed someone, long before becoming a Crow. He'd still been a Fledgling. None of that mattered more. Why in the Void hadn't he kissed Canelo before now?
"What was that for?" Canelo mumbled against his lips. "Not that I mind."
"You're happy... I...Your laugh...."
"Yeah?"
"It's beautiful."
Warm and deceptively strong arms wrapped around Lucanis' waist, pulling him onto Canelo's lap.
He pulled back and cupped Canelo's face in his hands. "I want to hear it all the time."
The light in the room was dim and colored a warm orange by the fire, Lucanis was certain he saw a flush bloom on the warm sepia skin of Canelo's cheeks, but his smile remained.
"Keep telling me stories like that one..."
"Or maybe," Lucanis said against Canelo's lips before trailing feather light kisses along the sharp line of his jaw to his ear, "I just like seeing you happy."
Canelo turned his face to capture Lucanis' mouth, "Well, good news, caro. That goes both ways."

P.D el recopilatorio IN TIME [1988_03] de REM que abre MAN ON THE MOON y cierta NIGHT_SWIMMING lo publicaron entre el cd REVEAL y el cd AROUND THE SUN..ambos firmados por KEN STRINGFELLOW de THE POSIES al colaborar en ellos [el 1ero me lo firmó en sala ROCKVILLE=canción del cd RECKONING en enero 2021 y el 2do en sala FOTOMATON en diciembre 2023]..así que MAS VALE QUE PERDAIS VUESTRA PUTA RELIGION porque estáis FUERA DE TIEMPO jaja

La Locanda di Faciolo, Roseto: ★★★★★
Cose tipiche abruzzesi, buonissima anche la pizza, fritti top, anche i dolci buoni (ciambellone con nutella).
Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante a caso, tornando da una gita in giornata. Più di un anno fa abbiamo assaggiato un mix di antipasti tra cui le pallotte cacio e ova (che un anno dopo non sono più in menù).
La seconda volta, tornate per un’occasione speciale, abbiamo optato per piatti piu vari: la pizza, gli arrosticini, la tagliatella fritta, le patatine e, per chiudere, un dolce buonissimo: una ciambella fritta con Nutella e zucchero.
Il locale è molto semplice e carino, il personale è molto gentile e i tempi di attesa nella media. Conto sempre adeguato a quanto mangiato (€20-30).

🍝 IL POGGIO. MONTECARLO Ieri sera in cerca di fresco abbiamo scelto la bella e ampia corte esterna della Fattoria il Poggio. Eravamo in due e abbiamo ordinato un antipasto per me, una tagliatella ai funghi porcini per lei e ci siamo divisi una grigliata di carne con manzo con contorno. Bottiglia di Vino DOC di loro produzione casa, olio di loro produzione (ottimo provatelo sul pane) con caffè 30 € a persona. Siamo stati bene, antipasto ottimo per qualità e obbligatorio da ordinare. 🇬🇧 Last night, in search of some cool air, we chose the beautiful and spacious outdoor courtyard of Fattoria il Poggio. There were two of us, and we ordered an appetizer for me, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms for her, and we shared a grilled meat platter with beef and a side dish. A bottle of DOC wine of their own production, oil of their own production (excellent, try it on the bread), with coffee, cost €30 per person. Amerigo, Savigno
Nel comune di Valsamoggia, grande area che si estende nella valle vicino a Bologna, c'è una certa densità di locali interessanti che fanno della trafizione gastronomica locale il loro punto di forza e di offerta.
Tra questi la trattoria Amerigo è forse il più storico e noto. Con una stella Michelin, il locale si trova nella via principale della piccola Savigno, un paese che si raggiunge risalendo la val Samoggia. Il posto ha due vetrine sulla strada, alcuni tavoli fuori sia davanti che di lato. I due ambienti interni vedono due banconi, nella prima sala a bar, nella seconda di vendita dove infatti sugli scaffali ci sono buna serie di prodotti in prevalenza di origine locale. Il posto ha un'aria age ma molto ben tenuta e confortevole. Bellissimi i pavimenti storici (e due sale al piano superiore di cui una affrescata da un famoso scenografo).
Il menu è una rigorosa interpretazione della tradizione a partite dai salumi selezionati con la giardiniera e le tigelle calde. Buone le paste tra cui la sontuosa tagliatella. Carni varie e poi funghi e tartufi di cui il luogo è ricco.
Buona e bella selezionebdi vini prevalentemente locali e di piccolissimi produttori tra cui molti giovani che con piccole cantine realizzano bottiglie molto interessanti.
Servizio premuroso e appassionato.
Un locale davvero meritevole che si fa portatore della cultura gastronomica del territorio con passione e dedizione.
