Inside Medici: The Magnificent, even though it is never mentioned, it also does make narrative sense for Francesco to be the younger sibling (as he was in real life):
Because of his rivalry with Giulano, both being the youngest male sibling
Both Giulano and Francesco are short-tempered and easily prompted towards violence
Meanwhile calmed big bros Lorenzo and Guglielmo sigh just looking at them fight like street cats
It just makes sense

I wonder if what Agrippa says here in Domina (2021-2023) –"I should have been a Gladiator!"– is a reference and callback to...

Either way, it's funny. 🤣 What's not that funny is that Agrippa seems to take lightly the life of a warrior slave? But oh well...

The foreshadowing in the early episodes of Medici season 2 is giving me the chills:
Francesco: "You'll hang for attempted murder!"
Giuliano: "It won't be me who will hang for that!"
***
Francesco to Lorenzo (after the joust): "You should have killed me when you had the chance."

The #Domina series is a pretty small fandom so I've decided to do my own phone wallpaper. I think it's the first time I do one and honestly it's probably not the best piece of work, but I find it cute.
The building on top is Mérida's theatre in Spain; it was also financed by Agrippa.
I've done two versions: young and older Agrippa with/without floral/butterflies' crowns. Choose your fighter

The only unexpected thing is that the Roman Empire turned out to be my Roman Empire as well.

“Ah, Catullus!” She had barely seen the words Odi et amo when she started jumping and embraced Agrippa and kissed him, first in the cheek, and once she remembered she was now his wife, in the mouth.
Excerpt from my Domina fanfiction in which Julia Drusilla (Augustus' and Livia's only daughter) receives a gift from Marcus Agrippa, who she has just married.
I know I'm the one writing her, but Julia Drusilla is such a gentle soul. We must protect her at all costs.

I just love how Romeo & Juliet the Medici and Pazzi are coded. Or maybe it was just the TV show that made them look that way. But I like to see them exactly that way

Agrippa and Hadrian from I AC and II AD: murderous, generals, warriors
Me, 21st century woman: 💫✨☀️Let's make them friendship bracelets ✨✨💙
(they'll probably like them anyway. Propaganda is propaganda)

Am I going to watch a TV show about the Medicis just because Pinterest kept throwing at me pictures of this guy?
Yes
Am I going to suffer cause probably he's going to die a gruesome death somehow and period dramas only get sadder by the episode?
Yes

This song but it's you working for somebody else's dreams and no one that can really change things does really care or see. Can I do it with a broken heart? Do I want to break my heart?
I cry a lot
And I'm not productive
It's a loss of time
You know you're good
And I'm good
Just not at this loss of my time

Yesterday I finished Those about to die and, although I find the show Domina much more interesting as a whole, it's been entertaining to watch. Won't complain as long as they keep doing more of these instead of Wrath of the Titans and such (I love mythology, just hate how they portray it in media most of the time aka too Hollywoodesque).
Thoughts on TV show "Those about to die"? I'm on episode 3 so far. I kinda love that they seem to be bringing peplum movies back.
