Inside Medici: The Magnificent, even though it is never mentioned, it also does make narrative sense for Francesco to be the younger sibling (as he was in real life):

Because of his rivalry with Giulano, both being the youngest male sibling

Both Giulano and Francesco are short-tempered and easily prompted towards violence

Meanwhile calmed big bros Lorenzo and Guglielmo sigh just looking at them fight like street cats

The "Marie de' Medici Cycle" is a series of 24 paintings by Peter Paul Rubens commissioned by Marie de' Medici, widow of Henry IV of France, for the Luxembourg Palace in Paris. 21 of the paintings depict Marie's struggles and triumphs in life. The remaining 3 are portraits of herself and her parents.

Watching the second season of Medici on Netflix and Matteo Martari (a.k.a. Francesco de' Pazzi from that show) has SUCH book!Darkling energy. (I haven't read the book, but I got the gist from the Darkling apologist fam.)
