OC TIME!!! Who's the poorest little meow meow and why,,

okay this took me a hot minute to respond to, cause i knew i had to add a doodle to it

It's Josephine!!! Specifically Velocity era Josy who is somewhere in her early 40s by that point? But she never outgrew being a wet paper bag of a woman lbr

As for why! I'm just gonna list the shit she goes through in chronological order for funsies

She's the daughter of the main villain and doesn't even know it until she's 18

Is technically one of the popular kids at the Academy, but has a major unrequited crush on one of the punk weirdos! So she doesn't quite fit in either group and she's well aware all of her friends actually find her very annoying

Gains the title of Star Pupil after the previous ones (the punk weirdos) realized the Academy was actually super fucked up and escaped

Everything she does from that point on is controlled and monitored, as they groom her into the perfect little follower

Is sent to kill a Dragon which I'd dangerous and awful by itself, but even worse when you add in that Dragons are considered one of the Living Gods in my lore. They sent a teenager to kill a God and didn't care if she came back or not

Is gifted the magic of Dragons, Havoc magic! An incredibly powerful, divine magic that leaves her body constantly trying not to tear itself apart and it corrupts her with every use

So you can bet the Academy of course forces her to use it a lot :)

Gonna skip over a lot of plot points to avoid completely spoiling the story but! Yeah she joins the good guys side in the end but dear god did she have to go through trauma to get to that point huh

Anyways, continues to hang around the person she has an unrequited crush on for 25 years and has to watch while they marry someone else and have a kid. Because Josy is not a smart woman when it comes to things that will ultimately hurt her

Doesn't use Havoc magic for 25 years and her body almost returns to normal! Except then she uses ten tons of it at once to find/rescue her crushes kid and all the corruption comes back with a vengeance

Que her being stuck in an entirely different universe, still trying to keep her crushes kid alive and return him home

Oh also at some point during said shenanigans I do intend for her to be forced to use so much Havoc that it completely turns her into a Dragon!

"But Jordan, is that permanent?" wouldn't you like to know, weather boy :)

Aaaand that's the most I'm gonna explain for her, but that is honestly scratching the surface of "reasons Josy is the poorest lil meowmeow around". I could add so much more, Josephine is 100% defs my 2nd favorite OC I've ever created. I love one incredibly fucked up and traumatized woman

I love Brackenpaw in the graphic novel so much oh my god. He’s so polite and he only speaks in normal (by normal, I mean not-all-caps lettering you’d see in day to day) lettering. It’s probably to contrast him with how excitable and loud Cinderpaw is, but since Every Single Other Character always talks in all caps it just makes him seem like such a polite quiet little guy.. I adore him so much
