I’ve been working on this fan-art for a few days, It’s based off @cyclopsarts tadc AI Replaced AU.

It’s just some sketches of Human Kinger & Human Caine hanging out together & just being adorable.

I also included some close ups of the sketches.

I also drew Cat Bubble because I wanted to practice drawing cats, also because he’s just so Adorable!

I also think Bubble would probably act like Salem from the 90’s Sabrina the Teenage Witch, just my personal opinion.

^ it was Jax's fault, he thought it was super funny

Ragatha occasionally has the same issue as Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, albeit with less stitching back together!!!!

Jax has asked for alcohol many times, Caine has only fallen for getting him some four or so times.

Ragatha occasionally lightly punches Jax to get him to shut up (Usually in the side, arms, or stomach)

^ Getting punched in the gut usually ends up winding Jax quite a bit 

Kinger has had his hands replaced upwards of 100 times in his years in the digital circus!!!! (Usually things like the Zooble situation cause him to fully lose his hands)

Caine loves a good maze!!!!!!

Zooble, much like Jax, has asked for weed, but because there aren't as many fun names for it, it hasn't worked as well as Jax tricking Caine for alcohol

Pomni is a fidgeter, usually seen squeezing onto her own clothing and shifting on her feet

Pomni used to be very regular to swearing before the circus

Caine ended up being lectured by Pomni that it's not normal to watch people sleep, he thought it was something humans were used to because of what parents and mothers do for babies

Gangle owns multiple body pillows, she had to explain she doesn't own them for any other reason than to have something to properly hug onto

^ Jax was the one that teased her into explaining it

^ Gangle ended up crying from embarrassment

^ Aaaand Ragatha ended up steppin in to help first

Jax ended up flipping off the camera one time during the weekly mandated theme song, and since Caine didn't have a built in censor-sensor for that, he got away with it the one time.

Caine sometimes has to go through major bug patches, and starts speaking gibberish during the update....

Pomni, despite having bells on her costume, is amazing at stealth

Jax plays the most annoying peacemaker possible, but does a good job at it

Kinger often makes references to pop culture items and series, but nobody gets the point, mostly because nobody can remember quite where any of it comes from (And neither does he)

^ Pomni has gotten close to remembering

^ So has Zooble

Kinger is no stranger to fun wordplay!!

Bubble is the ai with the least amount of idle animations and the least coding going into his dialogue.

Pomni is an amazing singer, despite her anxious cadence when she talks plainly.

ok so I never really talked about TADC very much here but after episode 3 I think I'd like to talk about the episodes and my opinions on it and stuff so here we go

Amazing digital circus ep. 3!

SPOILER WARNING FOR EPISODE 3 OF TADC

ALSO LONG POST/RAMBLING WARNING

ok so I really liked this episode! Its probably my favorite of the episodes thus far and it was perfect timing for Halloween! Though I do think the episode where they work at a fast food place will end up being my favorite by the end of the season because come on, look at Jax

look at him and tell me you don't want this episode

Anyways, ep. 3 was great! I've been intrested in Zooble since ep. 1 and feel like until now there's been little to nothing about them in the show. Like, they're just sort of there and never really get screen time. So the little thearpy sessions between them and Caine were amazing.

Also, the reason Zooble's never on adventures definitely was intresting. For some reason Zooble having body dismorphia wasn't on my TADC bingo card but ngl I think I should've seen it coming. It's pretty perfect for them, considering A. This isn't their real body just the digital one created for them, and B. Their appearances thing being all the bits and parts that can be replaced and manhvered was made for this kind of internal conflict

Also, the things we learned about Caine intrigue me LOT. Like, the fact that nobody liking his adventures is enough to break his AI and in turn, the circus, if definitely somthing I'm keeping in mind. Like, this is definitely important information about Caine, both his character and his relation to the circus

But anyways, on to the real star and reason I'm making this post, KINGER!!! Because this man

This sad, silly old man is my favorite. Officially. I liked him a lot in ep. 1 and 2 bc he was so silly. But ep. 3 really made me fall in love with his character.

his backstory was devastating. I feel like we kinda already knew about Queenie and him before this, but the flashback still hurt in the most perfect way. Like, the way he only likes bugs nc SHE WAS AN ENTOMOLOGIST AND LOVES THEM ABDHJSJSHSHJ

Also his whole memory thing is devastating. Like, he only has like this one memory and he only gets it in the dark. He also acts so diffrent in the dark like yeah thats also so sad like he only gets to have his sanity and personality in the dark and only temporarily like omg. Plus he dosn't get to remember the talk with pomni 😭😭😭 (BTW dementia having father figure Kinger also wasn't on my ep. 3 bingo card but I love it).

Tbh the whole cellar scene broke me. Especially the part where they leave hand in hand holding their break like it was so beautifully done. This gave me actual chils like omg it's beautiful.

So yeah, ep. 3 was amazing! I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one! Now that we officially have 3 fully episodes i can say that even though I'm not OBSESSED obsessed with it, I still really do like TADC and am going to keep up with it.

I just had this AU idea all day today and I am so brainrotted right now that I need to put this down on a post. I haven't figured out a whole lot but at least it's enough to get the idea.

L'Opéra Numérique

(or The Amazing Digital Opera)

- A TADC AU that's heavily inspired by Gaston Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera but not verbatim

- Reeks of Showtime, as Pomni and Caine are the two main stars: Christine Daae and Erik the Phantom

- Takes place in L'Opéra Numérique where everyone is part of a massive opera house with Caine being the Host (Opera Ghost) that "haunts" it

- L'Opéra Numérique is a literal labyrinth (🎶where night is bliiiind~🎶) and has no exit that anyone knows of; every path circles back to the main theatre

- Pomni, like the show, is the most recent arrival and becomes a wildly popular soprano, replacing Jax as the main star

- This leads to Pomni being the Host's object of affection, tutoring her in the hopes of making her a national treasure within the digital world

- While everyone plays along, Pomni becomes an "agent" for the rest of the gang in the hopes of figuring out who this Host is and how to escape the Opera

- The Gang all plan to have Pomni visit the Host, which leads to the iconic Mirror Scene as well as the Phantom's Lair and Unmasking Scene (🎶Music of the Niiiiiight!🎶)

- Unlike the source material, there is no "Raoul" for Pomni; only her newfound friends

- The main romance is the tragic love story between Caine and Pomni, where Caine obsesses over her to the point of madness and Pomni pities him despite the circumstances

- Caine as the Phantom is deformed a la abstraction, with his glowing eyes and sharp teeth exposed like a dark eldritch horror

- The Gang's plan for Pomni are all written in multiple notes, passed around by each member of the Opera as to not let Caine figure out what they're doing (🎶far too many notes for my taste...🎶)

- Of course, Caine does in fact find those notes and things go south real fucking fast.

- Since no one can die in the digital world, Caine's Punjab Lasso (noose) paralyzes the victim rather than strangle them to death

- Caine still drops the chandelier though... a few times, actually!

- When Caine hosts a Masquerade party, he reveals himself to everyone in his "Blue Screen of Death" costume (🎶 Why so silent, good monsieurs? 🎶)

- Did I mention Bubble is the Daroga in this AU? Because Bubble is the Daroga in this AU.

- So, Bubble is basically a NPC controlled by an investigator who was trying to release the missing people (Pomni and the Gang)

- Turns out Bubble and Caine knew each other personally outside of the digital world, but Caine has been the Host of the Opera for God knows how long that he has completely forgotten who he was before

- Oh yeah, Caine is NOT an AI in this AU! He was actually a game developer who was rejected multiple times until he eventually got stuck inside his own creation (I haven't gotten the full story so bear with me here)

- So while that's being revealed, Caine does his Phantom thing and writes an opera where he and Pomni fall in love (🎶Past the Point of No Return 🎶) until Pomni reveals his face

- Final Lair ensues, which leads to Bubble and the Gang being trapped and tortured until Pomni agrees to marry Caine via turning the Scorpion (the Grasshopper would crash the whole Opera)

- The story ends with Caine releasing everyone, including Pomni, and telling Bubble/the investigator how having Pomni as his bride made him remember what he had lost ("I! I! ...I kissed her! And she did not die of horror!") and thus destroying L'Opéra Numérique and himself

Pomni is Seinfeld (Mary Pomnifeld)

Ragatha is Elaine (Ragathaine Beanes)

(yes, I ship Pomni x Ragatha)

Zooble is George (Zooge Oobstanza)

Kinger is Kramer (Lozmo Kinger)

Jax is Neumann (Jaxxson)

Caine is the landlord to Pomnifeld who ropes her, Ragathaine, Kinger and Zooge into crazy adventures. Bubble is Caine's weird pet.

LORE: Starting off as a surreal parody of Seinfeld, Pomni will see people glitch and things she's not supposed to see, including 2 corrupted NPCs known as Kaufeld and Gangle. She will later learn she is in a infinitely running TV show powered by Caine, who's an AI. Jax is an NPC and Ragathaine, Kinger, and Zooge are real humans like Pomnifeld who signed up to be on this show and had their memories erased to be replaced with new ones by Caine. Kaufeld was the scrapped protagonist of the show due to him becoming self aware before his first episode, and Gangle was a lost member of the friend group who was cut due to being unnecessary.

This AU is based off an earlier attempt at a TADC x Seinfeld AU (back when Caine and Pomni were the only characters people knew) along with a fanart post I saw.

Absolutely wild TADC concept I got while washing the dishes: Caine was programmed by someone who wished for Caine to do his dead end job for him so he could do actual creative stuff- idk how the whole circus happened but Caine conducts adventures to understand the behaviour of the humans, and trains AI of each of them so they can replace them in the real world and be creative and have fun forever in the digital circus

TADC Theories

Caine was part of the first group that entered the Digital Circus, and had to watch his co-workers/friends go insane when they became trapped and unable to escape. Using his admin abilities he tried to keep them distracted and their spirits up by creating zany things, creatures and adventures. This has varying rates of success, but eventually the first group faded to be replaced by new ‘cast’. Not knowing what else to do, Caine continued his role of Ringmaster. This quickly became his own way to cope, especially as different people came and went, to the point where it’s all he knows how to do

The Digital Circus was originally meant to be a place for game developers to test out their ideas in VR until something went wrong

Caine is an advanced AI who was programmed to create randomly generated adventures for the players. It’s why there’s a developer room and teapots floating around and odd physics, the Digital Circus was meant to be a VR like game but it seems to have never been finished. Caine as such is acting on programming, creating adventures for the cast because it’s the only thing he knows to do.

The reason there is no exit is that either one was never programmed in or the code to the exit was erased. This is why Caine can’t allow the players to leave, it literally doesn’t exist at the moment so he can’t do anything

The Digital Circus is used as a way of testing something, possibly the AI or an experiment on the human psyche, and the cast originally signed on not knowing what they were actually agreeing to. Bonus points if it’s a way to remove “problematic” employees from the company

The Digital Circus is actually a VR game being broadcasted to the public, a la Truman Show style. It’s why they can’t remember their names, it would make them too real. Also it would be funny if they weren’t allowed to swear but Jax pulling out a bazooka and gun was fine

working name(?): The Amazing Digital Mer-Park

overview/concept: The circus is replaced with a massive waterpark, each character getting their own section of it that's themed off their personality as well as what their section of the park is dedicated to! while it hasnt been decided who does what yet some examples are:

swimming classes

food, drinks, and treats

water shows

I've also mixed in some mermaid stuff and theming since each character has their own sea creature/animal (based on their personality or what i think suits them best) that they turn into, like a mermaid ofc. I actually have the offical list for this since its like teh only thing ive decided fully on lol (under the cut aswell as more info)

game overview: The concept for as a "game" is that its a free roam pick your own team sorta adventure. At the start of the game the player would originally get to choose which section of the waterpark they want to go to. This is where they would choose to be a "visitor" (temporary so you can go to other sections of the water park and check them all out or just enjoy the mini games) or they can choose to be an "employee" in which you would help the AIS/Characters with whatever their section is based on or does! its a major wip and im planning on messing around with it but that's kinda the basics as of now

TADC Gotham Rogues AU

I know, a digital circus au, completely unheard of and original, but I was dressing the cast up as batman villains and liked the designs so much I've decided to make it its own au. This is not something that happened of my own free will, mind you. The demons forced my hand.

I don't have everyone so far, as I still haven't assigned villains to Kinger and Zooble, and I haven't drawn Jax as the Creeper yet, so if any of you have ideas on what to do with those two it would be highly appreciated.

Anyway, here's the designs and some paragraphs on the current stories I have for them.

First up is Gangle as Two Face! Her design is probably my favourite so far.

Once a respected lawyer, Gangle is a dangerous criminal with an obsession with pairs and an inability to make decisions without her beloved coin. Before that, she was a mayoral candidate and looking to properly expose the Falcone crime family. Rather miraculously, a man who used to work with the Falcones was willing to make a full confession, first to her and then in court. When the court date rolled around, however, he denied ever working with the Falcones at all, making Gangle look a fool.

Her temper was something she had always tried to keep from the press, knowing what it would do to her reputation. It came in the form of her second mask, which while seeming happy, expressed a severe desire for revenge and a sadistic joy. This mask was getting closer to showing the more she pressed the man to fully confess. Suddenly, he cried to the security guards to attack, causing them to jump her and break her mask into dust and tear apart her ribbons.

Unbeknownst to the people in the court, the Falcones had managed to replace the court's guards with their own to attack and hopefully kill Gangle. While they were arrested and Gangle survived, her mask could not be put back together. She never recovered physically nor mentally, her duelling personalities now having to occupy the same body at the same time. She did everything right, and still suffered. Law held no justice. Justice held no law. Someone's fate may as well be left to the simple toss of a coin.

Caine plays the role of the Riddler, although a bit less narcissistic than the original. He's also not an AI here, as this au is set in the 'real world', but more in a 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' sense. (Humans and cartoony creatures occupying the same world)

Caine did his best to thrive in whatever workplace he could, thinking his abnormally high IQ would surely make life a breeze for him. However, his lack of money made things very difficult for him. He wasn't close with any higher-ups, his constant insistence on changing and improving ideas was found annoying, and his high intelligence was far less appreciated by his co-workers than he thought it would be.

Left alone with his genius and desire for power and respect, he turned to making gadgets of his own, selling them to gain money for more materials to make more overly complicated machines. Alas, he was plagued by his desire to show off and prove himself, so his contraptions became more violent as he turned to selling to the many crime leagues of Gotham. The public barely ever understood his perfectly mind-bending creations, anyway.

Caine was lonely, though, in his brilliance, so he decided to set up what seemed like a harmless intelligence test online, recruiting the top five performers to meet him for one final test. He put them through puzzle after puzzle, watching how they worked under stress and timers, and how they managed with his adventures. To his disappointment, none survived.

Ready to accept being alone at the top, and relatively unaffected by the deaths considering how little of a purpose those victims ended up serving, he was unexpectedly found and apprehended by police. A certain mob boss he had sold some of his best torture devices to had ratted him out in an attempt to lessen his own sentence.

Thrown in Arkham Asylum, Caine realised that this was the path he had to take. Society wasn't ready for his genius. They simply couldn't fathom using it for good, if at all. Perhaps if he showed just how dangerous it could be, his intelligence would finally be given the respect it deserved.

Next, there's Ragatha as the Ventriloquist. I decided to use Terrible!Ragatha as a replacement for Scarface, who was originally created by @obamerzslop ! I highly recommend checking out his au's, they're what indirectly convinced me to make this. She admittedly doesn't really have T!Ragatha's personality, but she does keep the design.

Ragatha is a meek and relatively gentle woman, her talent for altering and throwing her voice giving her some very good job opportunities in entertainment. Unfortunately, she was always haunted by a voice in the back of her mind. It wanted power. It wanted bloodshed. It was a part of her, yet the two couldn't be more different.

Unable to bare it any longer, Ragatha stole some materials from the studio she worked in and built her own puppet, made from wood and rags. When she was building it, she finally relented to her separate personality and let it control her. It was going to be its body, so it deserved a say in it.

Looking down at the puppet, Ragatha's mind felt less crowded. She put it on her hand, and it immediately started speaking. The puppet now held her separate personality, speaking in its voice. Ragatha thought that maybe now it would be less bloodthirsty, the body being a gift of sorts that would appease it. If anything, the personality got worse.

Going by the name of Dollface, the puppet quickly took control of Ragatha's life. She was a servant to her now. That was when she was forced into a life of crime, serving the now mafia boss, Dollface, and her greedy pursuit of power. Many have made the mistake of claiming the two are the same. That Dollface is a mere puppet that Ragatha could simply remove. None make that mistake twice, as they typically don't live long enough to do so.

Finally, it's Pomni as the Great White Shark. These villains keep getting progressively more obscure- Whilst she is far more threatening, this Pomni does still obey cartoon logics and physics, much to her displeasure. A part of that is her teeth becoming sharp when stressed/angry, which is why they're always like that now.

Pomni started out as a low-level criminal, pleading insanity at her court case to avoid being sent to prison. Miraculously, it was allowed, although now she thinks it was less because they believed her insane, but more because they thought it would be a good show of the consequences for such lies.

Rather naively, Pomni assumed the insanity of the inmates at Arkham Asylum would make them easy to manipulate, ready to be lead by someone with their head on straight yet an equal desire for chaos and power. She was too confident that she would get respect as 'the Great White Shark', or even be feared. She couldn't have been more wrong.

The prisoners in Arkham tormented her, never letting her forget that she had chosen this hell that they were locked in. It was absurd to have a sane person amongst Gotham's criminally insane, anyway, and they just couldn't stand for that.

As much as she begged, Pomni was given no mercy from the authorities, being written off as just as insane as she had claimed to be in court that day. Over the course of her stay, she began to break more and more, needing a way out before she lost herself completely.

One day, some prisoners organised an escape. Pomni scrambled to leave with them, but was quickly pushed aside. Since they knew how weak she was, she was ignored by the guards, but not by the inmates. In order to completely get her out of the way, she was thrown in the large freezer where most of Mr Freeze's items and weapons were kept. Unfortunately, the weapons were removed first, leaving her with no way out.

Frostbite began to set in. Her nose froze and fell off. She lost a finger on each hand as well as parts of her lips. Her skin turned blue. Eventually, when Mr Freeze was recaptured, one of the police officers went to put his weapons away. That was when they found her.

Pomni had finally snapped. Rather than thank the officer like she once might have done, she pushed through her frozen blood and knocked him down, tearing apart his flesh with her sharpened teeth. She couldn't do much because of her state at the time, but it did mean she was finally viewed as a threat. Her title as the Great White Shark was finally being used. She had lost her mind, but had become far more formidable than she was before. The next time they escaped, she fought her way through. While she is now relatively business-oriented, that violent anger is always there, waiting for the water to be tainted with blood.

That's all I've got for now, which was really long whoops-

I'm pretty proud of this, and hopefully I never make another because good god. This is a lot.

TADC affected by the Maestro Hiccups please!

Here you go! Just as I promised! You're going to love this!

"Balan, welcome back," Ragatha greeted her new maestro friend. "I haven't seen you in a while. But I guess that means that things are going great?"

"They were, for the most part," Balan said. "Lance and I had just helped a Visitor find their—HIC!" Suddenly, Balan hiccuped and released some of his magic at Ragatha.

"Gah, Balan!" Ragatha yelped once the magic faded. "What just happened…!?" She found herself looking down for some reason and gasped in shock.

Instead of her usual dress, she was now in a frilly, blue princess dress. Her black shoes were now replaced with glass slippers.

"Ragatha, Pomni's having one of her episodes again…" Jax said, casually walking to where the stage was. He stopped when he noticed two things; Balan's presence and Ragatha's new outfit. He snickered in pure amusement. "Getting all dolled up, aren't ya, Dollface? Did ya look in the mirror?"

Ragatha rushed over to the mirror. When she looked in the reflection, her mouth parted in surprise. Her ribbon was also gone and it was replaced with a silver tiara.

"Jax, her appearance isn't her own doing, but rather my own," Balan explained to the purple rabbit. "My hiccups can—HIC!" And Balan unleashed another hiccup…right near Jax. A cloud of positive magic flowed over him.

When it faded away, a small rabbit with periwinkle fur sat in Jax's place. Its little nose twitched as it looked around. "What's going on!?" The rabbit, that sounded exactly like Jax, demanded. "Why does everything look so large!?"

Ragatha resisted the urge to squeal. But she gently scooped up the small rabbit. "Aww, Jax!" She said. "Look at how adorable you've become!"

"I'm NOT adorable, Dollface!" Jax argued. "I'm— WHAT THE!?" His small, yellow eyes widened when he gazed at the mirror. Balan's hiccup had turned him into an actual rabbit.

Just then, Pomni entered into the main room. She seemed to have calmed down from her previous episode. "What was all the noise earlier?" She asked before noticing Ragatha's and Jax's new appearance. "What happened to you guys?"

"Pomni, you must get to safety," Balan tried to warn. "Ragatha and Jax's new looks were both caused by—HIC!" Another hiccup was released, causing a wave of magic to head toward Pomni.

When the magic faded, Pomni opened her squinted eyes. She looked down to see that she no longer wore a jester outfit. Instead, she bore a schoolgirl outfit. "Ugh, what just happened? What did you do, Balan?"

"My hiccups are far from normal, my dear friend," Balan answered, flashing an apologetic look toward her. "When in contact with one, you will change drastically to—HIC!" He let out another hiccup that hit both Zooble, Bubble, and Caine this time.

When the magic faded, Jax bursted out laughing at Caine's new appearance. Instead of being an AI, he now took on the form of a nutcracker. "Love the new form, Chatters."

"Speak for yourself," Zooble said, sounding both confused and unamused. "I now am made from parts of a quilt." She eyed up her body, taking in the new details. "So this is how Gangle feels when it comes to her hands, body, and feet."

"That reminds me…" Jax still was the same mischievous person despite his new form. "Kinger! Gangle! Come here!"

"Jax, no!" Ragatha warned, but it was too late. Kinger came out of his pillowfort. And Gangle entered into the room. She yelped when a marble that was the size of Bubble almost rolled into her. But thankfully, she got out of the way.

"Kinger, Gangle, I must warn you!" Balan tried to warn. "Getting close to me while I'm in this state you really ought not—HIC!" And Balan released a hiccup at Kinger and Gangle.

When the magic faded, Jax laughed again. Kinger now resembled a wax figurine of a king. But Gangle's ribbon body now resembled slinkies. The moment Gangle tried to move, she yelped when she found herself bouncing.

"I have a feeling that this is Wonderworld related," Zooble guessed.

Carnvial!Cue (TADCarnival AU)

So lately, I've been thinking of Cue designs for a couple of TADC AUs, and one such is for the 'Amazing Digital Carnival' AU by @sm-baby;

Carnival!Cue, as we'll call him, would be an abandoned AI that was originally programmed to run a game room centred on fortune-telling, where players would aid him in deciding the fortunes on several NPCs. But due to a constant glitch that would keep crashing the segment, C&A programmers decided to start from scratch and replaced Cue altogether with 'Claire'

[Claire, Cue's replacement. He has.....mixed feelings about her ^^;]

However, Cue still exists in the game's files and at the events of the story, would find his way back. He'd be mostly harmless, but is in a horrible glitchy state that at best, like his original self, would be a bit dim and spout nonsense, and at worst......could very well bring the game down with him if unchecked :S
