The Rose
ARP 273, also known as "the Rose", is a pair of interacting galaxies located in the constellation of Pegasus.
This system is notable for its striking appearance, which resembles a rose, hence the nickname.
The interaction between the two galaxies has led to significant star formation activity, resulting in bright regions of young, hot stars.
ARP 273 is classified as a part of the Arp catalog, which is a collection of peculiar galaxies compiled by astronomer Halton Arp in the 1960s.

We made a flag/icon for Lostsoulgenic. Meant to be a more specific term for psychegenic and seelegenic
Tumblr media
Lostsoulgenic - For whatever reasons may occur, souls get lost in the universe and may accidentally (or purposefully) connect with a body that already is connected to a soul. A phenomenona can occur in which multiple souls become attached to one body, this may be due to trauma itself attaching to the soul, the soul isn't able to detach itself, or the soul has no desire to leave.

LDN 43: The Cosmic Bat Nebula
"Located about 1400 light year away in the constellation Ophiucus, this molecular cloud is dense enough to block light not only from background stars, but from wisps of gas lit up by the nearby reflection nebula LBN 7. Far from being a harbinger of death, this 12-light year-long filament of gas and dust is actually a stellar nursery. Glowing with eerie light, the bat is lit up from inside by dense gaseous knots that have just formed young stars."

Did you know? The eponymous "Eridani" after which the show and the NCC-1967 USS Eridani is called is actually a constellation? 🌌💫✨
Tumblr media
The constellation of Eridanus is visible in the sky of the southern hemisphere, and is the representation of a river. Namely, the word Eridanus is latin for the real Po River, but the constellation is also said to represent the Nile River. It is also the name of a greek god, who is the deity of its legendary river. Its brightest star, Alpha Eridani is also colloquially known as Achernar, meaning "The End of the River".
Tumblr media
The NCC-1967 USS Eridani on the other is a federation starship, commissioned in the late 23rd century. She's a Consitution II refit ship, with a crew complement of 500 people. While she is destined for exploration and diplomatic missions, she is also equipped for defense and combat, if needed be. Saavik served as her First Officer for six year before the retirement of Eridani's former captain and her installment as the ship's commanding officer on her next 5 years mission.
A more Star Trek related fun fact is the Vulcan is actually situated in the 40 Eridani system! Vulcan (or T'khasi or Ni'var) and it's sister planet T'khut orbit 40 Eridani a.
