What does Cornelius see when looking into his reflection?
Will he ever see Dream?
The thing is that Dream only occasionally reflect in the mirror and no, even then, Cornelius is unable to see him. I think that would go for most common people as well. The syndicate is able to see Dream because they are not human themselves!

📚 & 🐸 for l&co ask
📚 - It's hard to pick a favorite, but I think maybe The Creeping Shadow. You see so much growth in all the characters – George is weighed down with more and has anger at Lucy he needs to work through, Lucy learns to talk things out with Lockwood, Lockwood’s acknowledges his own self-destructive tendencies and learns to let go of family possessions he enshrined. Kipps develops a moral conscience and a personality outside of the agency that defined him. Holly unbends and sets her old place of work on fire (aspirational). We see Skull and Lucy’s relationship develop. We really start to see the sort of adults the cast will mature into. And it has some of my favorite scenes like Lockwood coming to Lucy’s apartment of depression and Lucy’s midnight return to Portland Row. It’s a darker book, what with someone actually getting murdered and the main cast being constantly threatened not just by the supernatural but by terrible dangerous adults who are at every turn implied to be so much harmful than ghosts.
🐸 - I like all the minor shitty adults in the universe of Lockwood and Co. there’s so very many of them and they really run the gamut because for these books to work the audience has to accept that the unsupervised children protagonists really have no one to turn to and are actually better off on their own. And just about every adult we meet proves to us that yea pretty much. Cruel snobbish Mrs. Wintergarden, irresponsible burnout Jacobs, greedy opportunistic Paul Saunders, the whole Winkleman crime syndicate, respectable businessman and murderer/abuser John Fairfax, they all show just how many adults made use of The Problem to make themselves richer at the cost of children’s lives and wellbeing and have no real motivation to stop any of it. I think the best of all shitty adults is probably Lucy’s awful mom because she’s just fascinatingly terrible while not doing anything outright illegal. Just an excellent portrayal of neglect and how often it doesn’t get noticed and is even encouraged by terrible government policies and practices and how much harm it really does to a kid. In the book she’s not mentioned to be physically abusive and nothing she does is against the law or even seen as questionable and that really brings home how messed up the situation is for the kids in this world.
Which is why my top favorite minor character is probably Arif.
Shoutout to Arif. We never see him. He runs a respectable local business. Hires kids but not to risk their lives but for normal kid jobs like delivering groceries. Doesn’t let food go to waste. Feeds the community. Apparently you can curl up on his steps at night if you have nowhere to go? When the world goes to hell we should all strive to be like Arif.
Thanks for the ask mysterious stranger! 😊

Getting Away With It - Supernatural
I wondered if I'd have some big revelation about Supernatural once I saw the whole thing - if I'd get some big epiphany about how it held up for 15 years or whatever.
My main takeaway overnight, however, has been marvelling (while ocassionally grinning crazily at a flashback) at what the creatives got away with just by building up to it slowly. Network TV in the US remains absolutely hogtied by the prevailing moral discourse, and by the money-power of controversy-shy advertisers to be the arbiters of what can and cannot be shown on a syndicated show. Syndication is its own money-slave and it's incapable of fully breaking free, short of the US viewership achieving consensus on both good taste and bad influences.
Supernatural worked its way up from a mythology of isolated urban legends to pull in the occult, then religion. The latter two subjects have been shockingly taboo for telly even here in the arguably post-Christian UK market within my lifetime. The spluttering outrage of the Mary Whitehouse Brigade would've turned to fatal aneurysms watching Supernatural play witchcraft, demonic possession, and angelic lore with equal irony and humour.
The heroes drink so much and live so badly that only their canonical Plot Armour, courtesy of failed-writer God, keeps them functioning as human beings. They're outlaws, criminals Robin Hood-style, defrauding their way to a living because their day job, the heroing, doesn't pay for food and shelter. They pass themselves off as badged figures of authority without difficulty. They never have to face the everyday moral or practical consequences of career-criminal actions that would be the moral backbone of the average movie or miniseries.
Dean routinely has carefree, casual sex with equally willing and available women during his travels, free of consequence and guilt, while the (currently) male angel Castiel occupies the textual role of Dean's love interest/romantic antagonist for most of 12 seasons because that happened to be where the show found the equivalent chemistry. They didn't just let it lie - they upped the ante season after season. That can only mean that the creatives of Supernatural have awesome poker-faces in serious meetings with their network-suited counterparts. ("No homo," they said gravely, sipping coffee and resting one hand half over the scene(s) where Dean takes the role of devastated widower every time Cas gets dead.)
They made everything about free will and standing for what's right. Even some of the sparkier demons got there before their arcs closed, grabbing agency and choosing to serve the greater good, or to act from love, but the angels consistently struggled to do the same. The angels are an unholy mess on Supernatural, opting for largely self-inflicted genocide having been abandoned by God.
Supernatural made God the ultimate baddie then had Lucifer's son - actual son of Satan - kick his arse and replace him. The Antichrist showed up too, but turned out to be a nice kid who caused so little trouble he never returned to the show. Fantasy usually only gets away with that (Christianity-defined) blasphemy shit by cloaking it in not-our-world trappings; sword and sorcery, worldbuilding from the ground up to provide a safe otherspace for questions that half of society in the target market isn't comfortable even asking, let alone answering or turning into casual entertainment.
Supernatural did that too - 14 seasons of slow, epic worldbuilding set in what looks, sounds, feels and tastes like modern America, is a love poem to its land and uniqueness at times, especially under the original showrunner, but turns out in the end to be a fictional world written by a self-obsessed deity who's run out of new ideas and settled for endless reruns with his comfort characters. Our Heroes are puppets and God himself is the bad guy jerking them around. Season 15 pays off that buildup in spades, then wipes the floor with God, leaving him a pitiable irrelevance in the Supernatural America of free will and doing-what's-right.
I've seen the show take a lot of vitreol for being unambitious, and a lot of fans being very unhappy over what the show didn't do or attempt. After my first viewing, I'm just pouring one out for the cunning shit they got away with while the networks who kept the lights on for 15 years were too distracted by the comfortable, mainstream headline of "two marketable white dudes (but no homo) drive around America in a cool car being manly-man heroes" to do anything about it.

CHARACTER BASICS
Name: Jakob Ranström
Age & Birthday: 28, Nov 3
Gender/Pronouns: Cis Man / He & Him
Species: Witch
Birthplace: NY, NY
Job/role: Actor
Positive personality traits: charming, diplomatic, playful, resourceful, versatile
Negative personality traits: guarded, impulsive, inconsistent, restless, sly
ABOUT
The Ranström witches have long been known for their extraordinary wealth, a legacy rooted in Sweden where black magic was harnessed for financial gain and self-advancement. In the 1920s, the Ranström family extended their influence from Sweden to New York City, and subsequently to Hollywood. This expansion led to the establishment of Zenith Entertainment, a formidable conglomerate encompassing film studios, talent agencies, and high-profile production companies.
Zenith Entertainment, founded in New York City, swiftly rose to prominence in the entertainment industry. The family's acquisition of the iconic Radio City Music Hall cemented their status, linking them with influential industry syndicates and exclusive institutions such as Asphodel, which trained Supernatural talents for stardom. The Ranström legacy reached beyond Broadway and the East Coast, making significant inroads into Hollywood's film, television, and digital media sectors.
Born the baby of the Ranström family, Jakob learned their family's ways fast, both from their parents Olaf and Agneta, but also from his older siblings Nina and Felix. Ever observant, Jakob watched how they lived their lives, and what sort of response it got from their parents, and tried to mimic the good, and disregard the bad. But it's much easier said than done with four strong influences in his life. And as he got older, it became harder to distinguish where his siblings and parents ended and where he began.
The RedCap incident still happened and Felix helped save the day for Jakob and his pals despite one later ending their life.
After, he fell in line a bit more, as guilt ate away at him for his friend's loss of a familiar. Jakob blamed himself. But he was a Ranström through and through, and he kept on, head held high (for the most part). He felt decisions being made for him left and right. From his parents to his siblings at times. But he valued their opinions most, feeling somewhat distant at times given their age difference, and so he strove to make it up by doing what each might've expected. Jakob was versatile, constantly changing to be who they might've wanted him to be. As such, he tended to keep his own interests close to the vest.
So he dove into acting alongside his brother, starting in school (which meant a mix of in person and homeschool/tutors). But whereas Felix openly struggled with his vices, Jakob felt like he had to be grateful and problem free to make his parents proud. What he didn't say was that he hated feeling under a microscope. That as the roles got bigger, so did his anxiety whilst performing. But his brother had his own problems, and Nina was always doing the right thing, that Jakob didn't think he had any course of action. He still doesn't.
With their parents, he's definitely the baby, and when all the focus was on Felix's fuck ups, he felt their grip tighten on him, trying to steer him in another direction. Connecting him with directors. You'd never be able to tell that he was a nervous wreck half the time, or that being on sets stressed him out more than it made him feel complete. It's part of why he's leaned into social media because he can control his own narrative and let loose. His tiktoks are more so him trying to find joy in just existing. In the mundane.
Despite the perception of a glamorous life, Jakob would rather be an unknown dweeb making dumb videos, than people trying to take pictures with him at the grocery store, or his mother micromanaging his schedule for the next year. But no one would know. Because he's mastered the art of pretend. He's an actor, after all. And he's been a chameleon even longer. So if you asked Jakob what he wants, he wouldn't be able to tell you. And with Felix's recent troubles, he doesn't think it's worth bringing up his own. Being the youngest Ranström means he grew up in the shadow of giants (literally), and that he's never managed to find his own.

Name: Nina Ranström
Age & Birthday: 37 years old, August 27th
Gender/Pronouns: Cis Woman She/Her
Species: Witch / Black Magic
Birthplace: NYC, New York
Job/role: Head of Talent Management
Positive Personality Traits: Focused, Calm, Diligent
Negative Personality Traits: Selfish, Removed, Ruthless
ABOUT
The Ranström witches have long been known for their extraordinary wealth, a legacy rooted in Sweden where black magic was harnessed for financial gain and self-advancement.
The Ranström legacy reached beyond Broadway and the East Coast, making significant inroads into Hollywood's film, television, and digital media sectors.
Born and raised in a cold and removed household, Nina adopted the same demeanor from a young age. She considers it a strategic approach to navigate being a Ranström, but as she grew older she learned how to master such a fine juggling act. To this day, Nina has a complex personality which embodies her upbringing yet allows her to experience freedom.
She had no interest in being in front of the camera, and in order to not disappoint her family, this meant her career was paved for her within Zenith Entertainment. She's worked at various roles within the family company but is now Head of Talent Management, and is an influential name if you don't want to be blacklisted from any roles or projects.
Nina has a difficult relationship with both of her parents, mainly from how she tries to do exactly what they wish yet still feeling as if it's never quite enough.
She adores her younger brothers, even if this is never outright said. She takes no notice of things considered taboo in their world and both Felix and Jakob have tracking spells on them.
She showcases a similar personality to their father in that business should continue no matter what, remaining focused and her head always held high. In the same breath, she can be similar to Agneta with a controlling and unrelenting presence.

Ever since I saw the first post for your syndicate supernatural agency au it has been floating around in my brain, I’m generally curious on what dream is up to and what the dynamics are.
For you I actually went and completed these omg. I am so happy you are enthusiastic about this AU! Believe it or not, Dream actually just guards the artefacts, defying any ill intention towards them because while most of the mortal world is unaware of their uses/abilities, some do.
Also think of Cornelius and Dream like magical girl troupe except in this case, Cornelius has no idea about Dream and Dream likes to keep it that way. They switch places/share one body so they cannot simultaneously appear in one place together though sometimes they can appear in each other's reflection. Dream is not hostile but because he kept to himself most of the time, he can be easily misunderstood!

Name: Felix Ranström
Age & Birthday: 32 years old, November 3rd
Gender/Pronouns: Cis Male He/Him
Species: Witch Werewolf
Birthplace: New York, New York
Occupation / Tie to Industry: Actor/Director & Zenith Entertainment
Positive Personality Traits: level headed, observant, realistic
Negative Personality Traits: brooding, removed, cynical
ABOUT
The Ranström witches have long been known for their extraordinary wealth, a legacy rooted in Sweden where black magic was harnessed for financial gain and self-advancement.
Felix Ranström's upbringing amidst the cold opulence of the Ranström estates in Beverly Hills, Manhattan, and Sweden lacked any warmth and affection. His intense nature and turbulent emotions made him feel like an outsider within his own family. Struggling to align with the clinical operations of his family's business, Felix turned to academia before tentatively embarking on an acting career. His choices in roles have always been deliberate, focusing on projects that allow him to explore complex themes and emotions.
Felix's journey through acting saw him struggle with substance abuse and a hedonistic, chaotic lifestyle. His struggles were often visible in interviews, where he appeared hungover or under the influence, further straining his relationship with his parents. It wasn't until early 2023, following his relationship with Isabella Belcourt, that Felix began to stabilize his life. An improvement that was cut short when he was attacked under the full moon in the December.
Despite dealing with the trauma and loss of magic, contracts were signed and projects were underway and he had no choice but to continue working. Slowly, Felix turned to his old habits, resulting in the mutual decision to part ways with Isabella in March 2024. However, the shock of the separation led Felix to confront his issues more effectively, and by May 2024, he and Isabella had reconciled. Felix proposed to her in July, marking a hopeful new chapter in their lives.
Despite ongoing challenges with his new existence as a werewolf and the loss of his magic, Felix has shown significant improvement. He is now preparing for the release of his upcoming film, The Crow. Following this project, Felix has decided to step back from acting, recognizing that his true passion lies elsewhere. He is currently focusing on writing and has begun developing ideas for a script, with plans to transition into directing.

The Search Intro
Hello hello and welcome to my search thread! I have three specific fandom cravings I need your help with: Hartwin, Johnlock & Symbrock. I’ve got some plots for your consideration below!
I’ve been roleplaying for a long time and prefer to write over Discord (shipsahoya#9763), but can also write over tumblr or email. I have no required word count or paragraph length from you, but do tell me your preference!
I work a busy job full time, so I can’t always post every day. Sometimes I can post multiple times a day and sometimes life gets in the way and it takes me a few days. I’m always happy to chat OOC! Let’s talk, share fanart and fics we like!
As a side note, I do not roleplay with minors. I prefer to roleplay with partners who are 21+.
The Roleplay Ideas
Hartwin - Eggsy Unwin / Harry Hart
Look, I love these two and have since the first movie came out. I prefer to play Eggsy.
• Canon Adjacent: Two years have gone by since Harry Hart was ‘killed’ by Valentine. Merlin, Eggsy, and Roxy have rebuilt the Kingsman team and have continued to work around the globe to keep the world safe. When Eggsy is sent on a mission out in the states, he’s getting settled in to his lodging when he spots none other than Harry Hart across the street. Harry Hart who has no memory of anything beyond the last two years.
• Undercover Mission: A new crime syndicate has been gaining more notoriety lately. Their HQ? An exclusive resort. In order to investigate what’s going on, Harry and Eggsy go undercover as a couple.
• Retired Harry/Injured Eggsy AU: Harry Hart retired from the Kingsman Agency after the death of Lancelot (Lee Unwin). Now, he runs a butterfly sanctuary down at the science center. Imagine his surprise when he finds a man passed out and bleeding in the middle of the sanctuary when he arrives for work one morning.
————
Johnlock - John Watson / Sherlock Holmes
Out of nowhere, I’ve been craving these two all over again. I prefer to play John.
• MCU AU: Sherlock Holmes doesn’t believe in sorcery until a case leads him to the Sorcerer Supreme. As things unfold, he becomes the new guardian of the Sanctum, only for CIA operative John Watson to be assigned to make sure he isn’t causing trouble.
• SuperWhoLock AU (minus the Dr. Who): Okay, I know. But hear me out, it’s about to be spooky season. So why shouldn’t Sherlock solve crimes with ghosts and ghouls and vampires? And why shouldn’t John be a blogger who’s been assigned to interview him with absolutely no belief in the supernatural?
• The Kingsman AU: The Kingsman Agency has lost a few members and is actively recruiting. John is brought into the recruiting process thanks to his medical experience in combat. Sherlock is brought in partly because his brother runs the organization, and partly for his crime solving skills. But can they survive training without butting heads?
————
Symbrock - Eddie Brock / Venom
Should I love them? Probably not. Do I? Absolutely. I prefer to play Eddie.
• Stranger Things AU: What if instead of traveling space, Carlton Drake was focused on opening a portal to the upside down? Only instead of mind flayers and demogorgons, the upside down is inhabited by the symbiotes? Eddie infiltrates the Life Foundation to find that someone has already made it through the portal…

The Preternatural Syndicate has been around since the formation and establishment of the first human civilization, which we now know as Mesopotamia. As humans began to settle, supernatural beings were starting to note the changes, but they still had humanity's respect, fear, and love. However, they anticipated with certain civilizations prioritizing the need for material, capital, and political advantage, they knew this coexistence was going to dissolve. Eventually, those responsible for the P.S.'s growth found their predictions coming to fruition as humans began to lose reverence and respect for the otherworldly. Instead of allowing nature to take its course, both humanity and the supernatural began to clash frequently as the "harmony", or more so, the natural order of life, was knocked off balance. And thus, many supernatural beings were facing extinction.
Humans did everything to shun and denounce otherworldly beings, in many ways they did so by hunting them, depriving them of resources, destroying habitats, not paying tribute, etc. And supernatural beings were left desperate enough that they frequently preyed upon humans, pushed humans out of their settlements, and retaliated with their own violence and destruction. In short, it became a long and pointless "war," and thus the genii, winged jinn of pre-Islamic lore, amongst many other ancient beings congregated and decided there there needs to be a haven of some sort for supernatural creatures who seek asylum from the rapid changes that the world was undergoing. The first iteration the P.S. was and still is based in the Middle East, where it all started and it still stands as the Main and Central headquarters for the entire operation.
There are branches of the P.S. scattered across the globe (East Asia, North America, Central America, South America, Central Asia, East Europe, West Europe, East Africa, West Africa, Australia, etc.). The locations of the branches are determined by intersecting factors such as culture, continent, and geography. Each branch has a head director who reports to the Higher Ups in the Main Headquarters. But that is only for major emergency that calls upon urgent attention, otherwise, each branch manages their own region, and will reach out to each other to assist with certain situations.
In terms of how they operate, the P.S. is like an agency that is independent from governmental influences. Or any other influences for that matter. Furthermore, as stated before, they act like park rangers for the supernatural world, aiming to protect and conserve species, and to maintain balance through conflict mitigation. In addition, providing amnesty for supernatural communities in need is part of their work as well. They do not enforce laws, they do not follow laws, they are there to ensure the ecological order remains intact. Although, not to say the supernatural world is lawless, as a lot of societies and groups self-govern their communities, and the P.S. leaves them alone unless they are required to step in.
The design for the P.S.'s badge was created by @hidiingplace who was brilliant and nailed what I envisioned for the organization. In my next meta post, there will be a breakdown for the symbolism of the imagery used to represent the mission and mandate of the P.S.

Okay so the Reversed Roles AU thing that was suggested to me managed to crank something loose in my braingears so the cogs got turning. owo
It took me a minute of talking with Blu/CapCrew to spitball and bounce ideas around, but at the very least this info got ironed out: I’m putting all the old vampires as modern humans who became hunters at the ages they appear to be. So Kat would’ve been 23 when she entered the trade; Rori would’ve been 20, etc. And the factions that exist in their canon, don’t in this AU. So there’s no Agency, no Coalition, and the ruling Vampire Clans are different.
Hunter!Kat is the leader of a hunter’s guild. A syndicate or lodge or LLC or the like in these modern days. Salizar is a highly-effective “Give me the next mission” sort of guy. Selina does some hunts but she does more recon missions; sometimes she accompanies newer hunters to show them the ropes. Aureline is still a doctor! And occasional dabbler in research and dev for their gear and such. And then there’s Rori, who is actually not polarized against Kat in this AU! In fact they’re guildmates and a well-coordinated team!
Regarding the hunters turned vampire, I haven’t put much thought towards them yet. lol Since for the supernatural earth story I’ve mentioned like maybe two human hunters and two halfbloods here.
I kinda forgot my werebeasts there at first! But they’re human too, naturally. So Alvaro (Chiro), Glenn (Ghost), and Esther (Strix), along with [insert human names of] Tundra and Kodiak and Bengali are here too. And they’re “That weird club of fantasy fanatics” to most humans, but their real deal is that they archive the information and records of monster hunter guilds like Hunter!Kat’s.
I’d be happy to receive any asks regarding this InverseAU! c:

idk if anyone even knows what d@rker than black is anymore but lol...i’m in love w/ the protag so i’m gonna talk abt it
an irl friend of mine wanted me to watch the show (we’ve been slowly showing each other new anime over time) and when we first started watching it recently everything was fine, normal...but the more we watched and the shitter things got for me irl, the more i started projecting feelings into the show really hard, and then i just said fuck it and decided to self insert fhieslfhels and here we are
quick crash course so some words i use describing Nova’s role in this verse make sense: DTB takes place in a world where there’s like a fog around the world...the real sky doesn’t exist anymore, and every star you see in the night sky actually represents a person known as a “Contractor.” (And yes that means when you see a star fall, a Contractor has died. They’re kept cataloged by most official organizations by numbers assigned to their stars.) Contractors have special powers at the cost of a price, i.e. someone who has electricity powers but then has to eat an obscene amount of food for seemingly no reason after the fact. understandably, powers and payments can be literally anything, ranging from both good and bad, dire to simple, etc etc. And all of this started happening when these 2 supernatural zones known as Heaven’s Gate and Hell’s Gate randomly showed up one day, and then people in or near these zones (which are now uninhabitable) started developing these powers. allegedly Contractors also only have lizard brain levels of emotion, as in they aren’t really supposed to be able to feel anything, they only act in the most rational and self-preserving manner for them. this ofc isn’t entirely true and gets challenged in different ways throughout the show, but anyway i think those are enough basics for my bio description to make sense...
i don’t have an official bio typed up yet but Nova is still just Nova lol, altho like in my FB verse, she has a condition that only certain people can see. she’s not a straight up Contractor (so she doesn’t have to deal with all that payment bs), but she has been influenced by the Gate. it changed her appearance (starry haired catgirl) and she has the ability to shift between a cat and human form, but only other Contractors/people that have been in contact with the Gate to a notable degree can see that part of her appearance. so as a human she just looks normal to everyone, and as a cat she just wouldn’t be sparkly, but to Contractors/Gate people she looks like a catgirl/sparkly cat all the time. she’s best friends with one of the side characters in the show named Kiko, a girl who works for a hack detective and likes anime a lot, so she and Nova bond over that lol...Kiko also canonically has a crush on Hei (the MC, who I now realize I haven’t shared his name up to this point lol. sidenote: that’s not his real name, it’s the codename he goes by in the organization he works for. His “civilian” name that he tells most people when he’s undercover is “Li Shengshun” but we actually never find out his REAL real name, unless it actually is Li, but regardless I just refer to him as Hei because that’s what everyone else does lol), although Kiko doesn’t actually know him (they’ve never had any super significant encounters) but that’s how Nova ends up meeting him. Kiko points out her crush and Nova decides she’s gonna help her friend get a date, but after things get set up Nova realizes she feels...a little empty...maybe even a little jealous :3c and ofc from the beginning Hei noticed that something was up with Nova that apparently no one else can see, but he decides not to make it his problem until he’s told that it’s supposed to be his problem. he basically works as a hitman for a secret vague Syndicate (just think secret government agency or whatever except this organization is over even the government) that employs Contractors and various other individuals that have had experiences with the Gate. one of his teammates is another black cat (lmfao) who probably starts keeping tabs on her anyway, just because he can, and because he’s wary about the fact that she’s just living her life like this and yet she still just happened to cross paths with this particular group of people...what a coincidence, although when it comes to Contractors Mao (the cat) knows it’s probably not a good one.
Aaaaaaaand that’s about all i got for now i think, i’m gonna try to post some more writing next week (no promises) for JSHK, BSD, and now DTB, and i’m probably gonna lean more towards producing more DTB for the time being because i’ve been using it as my one crutch during this fucked up time we are living in lol, i projected too hard and now i’m in love, story of my life!!!
#ck.txt#star crossed#NEW OTP TAG...????? i think so#i'm not sure if i want to stick w/ that but i'm using it for now#i got the idea while i was listening to heaven's gate by fob#and then i was like 'oh wait...there's a heaven's gate in dtb :D'#so i thought it might be a neat double meaning thing...but we'll see#i may come up w/ something better after i think it over more but prob not lol i usually stick w/ what i initially come up w/

Uh What Is Villianous Nights Astora&Havenfall?"
they’re all different stories in Lovestruck, an app full of visual novels! :)
editting to expand:
Villainous Nights is set in San Francisco, in a world where some humans have super powers! MC lands an internship at Optimus, a world-famous company known for its advances in technology and for its knowledge of powers. However, MC lands herself in hot water when she stays a little too late, and meets one of five supervillains intent on taking Optimus down, because underneath all the ‘good’ things they do, Optimus is incredibly shady and doing a lot of bad stuff. So MC joins the Syndicate as a ‘villain’ herself and joins the fight against Optimus!
Astoria: Fate’s Kiss (and Astoria Lost Kisses) is set in New York, in a world where the Greek gods and monsters really do exist. MC is an agent for the agency called H.E.R.A., named after the goddess Hera who went missing. She’s working her way to become a field agent, and in doing so stumbles onto the case of one of the love interests (a god, a titan, a demigod, and several godly monsters), wherein she fights against the gods themselves, titans, half-titans, monsters, and demigods to do what’s right
Havenfall is set in the small town of Havenfall, Indiana, in a world where vampires, werewolves, devils, djinn, and so much more exist in secret. The MC finds out that certain people in her town aren’t what she thought when something happens to her sister. She delves into the world of the supernatural and works to save the people closest to her, even though she’s only human.
