Autistic characters who aren’t savants and are still considered important members of the teams they’re on

Semi or nonverbal autistic characters who are smart, and their partial or full lack of speech isn’t something that needs to be fixed

Characters who have autism or ADHD as well as mostly unrelated mental illnesses (trauma not targeted at their neurodiversity, disordered eating not caused by sensory issues)

I think rayquaza is one of the coolest Pokémon. maybe not ranked as one of my personal favorites - or maybe it does but I haven’t thought about it - but it definitely ranks like. Highest. my half fanon theory for me to not loose my mind to put together how the diner can be a point of null entropy and the crew's external bodies not changing (not aging) while they still go through entropic processes (memory formation, im assuming digestion, etc) is that they do age, but only when being observed. Caspar didn't age 100+ years because for the most part he wouldn't acknowledge effie or zeb, (if they were even there. maybe he couldn't get the radio to work for a long time) and it's like a wave collapse kind of thing. When an electron is observed (by humans, or any kind of optical medium) it 'knows' it's being observed and it's waveform collapses. it becomes a particle. This could be caspar. so if the three sisters thing happened after the 100+ of Not Remembering, his 'waveform' collapses, allowing him to form memories by Being Observed and Being Conscious, and Leif shows up not long after. We don't have any flashbacks of him, alone, quite yet. They're always with other people it's also worth noting since these guys are all older, they might not age as noticeably. it's been 4 years. David has also never pointed out that Casper looks. significantly. younger than he would have had he been on earth this whole time. they also might just be less stressed out (in certain ways!) with no need to worry about money and food (most of the time, at least), and they still do all have a good support system and people that love them, which can make tons of difference.

sometimes i like to think about what their initial conversations with their editors must've been like. i'm sure they made sure they'd watched a ton of deppy's videos and had boned up on the lore so that they could get an intuitive sense of their style, but do you think they were like, "look. people like when we look at eachother, they like when we touch, they like when i smile fondly at phil like he's my little sunshine, they like when we share dumb little stories, they like when we flirt, they like innuendos, so just zoom in whenever you see us being married on main and the rest is gravy"

seetttthing scalding hot take but honestly i feel no sympathy or theoretical sadness about altea being blown to bits. the few alteans we DO know are all assholes. clearly the universe isn't missing much. in fact, if you look at the only canon universe that DOES still have altea--- they go on to be just as bad as the galran empire if not even worse.

so yeah. maybe zarkon did the universe a small favor before he went truly off the deep end.

edit; just found out alteans destroyed Diabaazal long before zarkon destroyed altea. nothing ANYONE says can convince me alteans are anything *but* the real villain of the show. they got what they deserved.

since we daydream so often (to the point that we’re considering that ae may have madd. ae probably have madd. if you’re consistently having to jolt yourself out of it multiple times in a row so you can actually look where you’re going in a public space, that might be a problem)

anyway, since we do that so often, we’ve made and followed the trail of a LOT of stan twins over the years. of course, the aus we talk about are typically either the most interesting or the ones that pop up the most (ae’d say canon stans show up the most by far, which yeah. makes sense)

what’s interesting though is that we’ve noticed a trend of sorts?

so, for portal stans, it’s either slice of life or stan gets all the armour and such and ford gets portal’d into a quadrupedal ✨creature✨

for young adult stans, it’s either the young stan twins get sent to a different timeline or something and have to live with the sea grunks (guys who have everything worked out and are slowly healing with each other’s help vs guys who have processed exactly 0% of any of their trauma and also have not spoken to each other in a decade) or ford is fucked beyond belief and stan is going to try to help dammit

and then for the post portal twins it’s either ‘OH GOD FUCK MY SHITTY MENTAL HEALTH’ or ‘OH GOD FUCK A SHITTY ANOMALY’ and honestly ae think those two are our favorites

the sea grunks having to live in the same house as the young stans and the portal stans literally just vibing are also good but our favorites are definitely the spicy slice of life ones
