Because I feel like every trans person I meet is chronically ill in specific ways, let's try something
no cis/bald/nuance/results, you gotta pick one. it just divided up too well. also you don't need a diagnosis, just regularly have issues with one/both of these areas of your body.
#ex: I have celiac but since it doesn't give me digestive symptoms I don't count it as digestive issues#I do however have arthritis and that DOES give me joint problems#trans#transgender#transmasc#transfem#also dambit I mistyped the last one. It's supposed to be 'otherwise trans and neither'

Dreamed I was visiting a winter fair at a nearby town (it was combination Halloween/Christmas, there were booths advertising holiday concerts but also booths selling Halloween decorations and one guy whose in-character name was Skull Boulder which sounds like a wrestler from Halloween Town) and I wandered too close to some health & wellness themed booth and the guy asked me for my biggest symptom and my average daily phone usage and diagnosed me with hysteria
#i told him autoimmune inflammatory arthritis for the symptom#and I'm pretty sure he didn't know what that was

Good news about my dog she probably doesn't have a tumor anymore it's more likely her symptoms are caused by arthritis which is still not good but at least it's not a tumor
#it could also be arthritis and a tumor. but uh. let's just hope not#.#this would explain literally all her symptoms#I shouldn't be happy that my dog has arthritis but fuck man. like that's treatable and not fatal she'll probably live

always fun to remind myself of the side effects of my thyroid meds
#the first time i treated my thyroid my endo was like ‘i havent had a patient who had this happen for a while so im due for one’ THANKS MAN#personal#im just waiting for it to hurry up and work. my health has PLUMMETED in the last week or so#im so sick and i can’t DO ANYTHING. including SLEEP. even if i was getting enough good sleep i was be exhausted but i’m not so.#the energy’s doing Great#and i’m so hungry all the time but also nauseous so all food is unappealing#genuinely have no idea how i made it through years 7-10 undiagnosed. no wonder i ended up with such a severe phobia of going to bed????????#i don’t have to worry about routine right now so it’s not as stressful (just horrible because i’m so tired) but i COULDNT SLEEP back then#im just relieved that this time it was found through a routine check rather than me getting a test because of symptoms#usually i test when my anxiety gets really bad in a specific way#but my anxiety isn’t bad this time. no panic attacks and also no migraines. those are all usually the worst to deal with#so comparatively this isn’t even a particularly bad episode?/relapse?/flare?#still more sick than i’ve been in……..years?#im not sure if covid was better or worse. but it was only really bad for a week#this’ll be worse overall because it’ll last a lot longer#hopefully only a month or two but that’s still a few months of my life that just vanish. cool!!!!!!!!!!!#and there wasn’t even a notable event to trigger it this time. first time was whooping cough and subsequent times have been things like—#starting uni and then the last 2 years of uni where i took 10 units in one year then overworked myself doing my thesis#im SLIGHTLY worried that maybe i’ve developed rheumatoid arthritis and that set it off because it’s also autoimmune#i should see my gp soon to get a general antibody test. my joint have been so bad it’s been hard to walk for quite a few months#idk man it all sucks. but for now at least i have my white blood cells (even if they’re literally the problem lmao)

I’ve been having severe gastrointestinal issues for over a year now, but my first calprotectin test came back negative. I was diagnosed with ibs but supposed to take another test soon
Anyway I just started a new biologic for my arthritis last month (one that’s specifically prescribed for crohns) and suddenly all of my gi symptoms are completely gone

#arthritis#disability stuff#actually disabled#crohns disease#I mean I guess yay I feel better????#seriously like a switch flipped though#five days after the third dose boom I’m fine after having consistant symptoms for a year and a half#I need to know if this has happened to anyone else though bc I definitely know people with two autoimmune diseases#but no one who learned they had an autoimmune disease because the meds for the other one started working for the unknown condition

What are the Different Types and Treatments of Arthritis?

Leading a beautiful life doesn’t come without challenges. Our body goes through a lot of stress and grind in the process and there comes a stage when it needs more attention and care than ever before.
The Best Orthopedic Doctor in Bangalore at United Hospital explains that the wear and tear, our body is subjected to, leads to pain in the ankles and knees. Sometimes, it can get pretty hard to walk!
Are we welcoming Arthritis in this case?! Well, in the worst case, unfortunately, we may be. However, experts indicate that there is no need to panic. With rapid advancements in medical science, there is not just hope, but more confidence that we can defeat Arthritis.
It is all about being aware of what Arthritis exactly is and taking precautions at the right time that could be the best beginning to arrive at a successful solution.
Understanding Arthritis?
Experts at United Hospital, a dedicated Orthopedic Centre in Bangalore focusing on Arthritis care, explain that Arthritis is a medical condition involving swelling and tenderness of one or more joints. It may worsen with age and is a prevalent cause of discomfort among senior citizens
Types of Arthritis
Arthritis can affect individuals of any age, but the elderly are more vulnerable.
Some of the common forms of Arthritis are:
Osteoarthritis - It is a condition that affects joints in your Hands, Knees, Hips and Spine.
Psoriatic Arthritis - This a condition that develops in people due to a very challenging skin disease called Psoriasis.
Reactive Arthritis – This causes joint pain and swelling triggered by an infection in prominent parts of your body — most often your intestines, genitals or urinary tract.
Rheumatoid Arthritis – This is a chronic inflammatory disorder which can affect more than just joints including premier organs like lungs, heart, eyes and blood vessels.
Some of the other conditions faced notably by the elderly include Ankylosing Spondylitis.
Symptoms of Arthritis
The most common signs and symptoms of arthritis involve the joints. Hence, it is important to seek an expert opinion if you observe one or more of the following symptoms:
Pain in the joints.
Stiffness felt in the joints.
Swelling observed in or around the joints.
Redness observed in the joints.
Difficulty in moving.
Treatment for Arthritis
Arthritis, if untreated, can be a really painful thing to handle. However, what really matters is the right type of medical attention at the right time and from the right source. Your treatment is based on how severe is your condition and can include:
Medications
Depending upon the type of Arthritis diagnosed, your medications may include:
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Creams and Ointments.
Steroids
Physical therapies and exercises.
Surgical Interventions
In case you do not get any relief from the above medications your doctor might recommend surgical interventions to bring you back to your routine lifestyles in quick time. Some of the types of surgeries performed include,
Joint Repairs
Joint Replacements
Joint fusions
Let’s say Goodbye to Arthritis forever and welcome a painless life. For many of us, life may begin at 40, but so does Arthritis! Hence, if you are wondering as to, “Which is the Best Orthopaedic Clinic near me to treat Arthritis”? feel free to connect with United Hospital.
