How I think magik works.

Your brain will recognize signs that one believes are from the universe.

Its faith to know that any of this coincidental symbolism is from a source bigger than even your brain can conclude.

Fait will light up the path you just have to follow it. Even if you don't worship the divine believe in fate. Fate is love. It will always find you. I believe its the most nurturing of any kind of magik.

Then there the strongest human emotion of fear. You have to provoke fear when casting a spell. You have to haunt and a little hypnotic.

Magik is chaotic and you never know how it will turn out. However, If you follow the wiccan rule of do no harm, you will not be violent even when haunting yourself and casting a spell. You will not hex, you will not use blood magik satanically.

Magik is beautiful and society rules say one cannot know how it works because it will be used satanically.

I sometimes cut myself a little after a spell on accident and i think its a product of hypnosis. what if i actually spill alot of blood. this is why you have to be carful of how your hypnotizing and letting into your subconscious.

when I cast a spell I'm usually just meditation and practicing positive thinking but with a little twist. Maybe a nice but spooky voice let the universe know what you want. Put it in a song, make a craft about it. write a song about it.

Nobody needs to know your art work and meditations are actually spell work. it will be our little secret.

i think that itoguchi conztantly calling popo a "murderer" iz popoz own perspective over herzelf – itz her who cauzed michiz suicide . itz her who couldn't save michi . itz her who made michi jealouz to begin with ; popo can never forgive herzelf for the fact michi killed herzelf and now the grief iz going to follow her forever . az long az she livez

and i say that alzo becauze theze two are pretty similar in trying to force the two to face their problemz head-on ; madoguchi tried to get michi to confront herzelf and to realize that her jealouzy over popo iz really just the hatred she holdz for herzelf and how popo haz no fault in thiz whatzoever . and itoguchi makez popo stomach all the memoriez of michi and how she iz never coming back . how shez gone forever and how popo now haz to learn how to cope with the lozz of her best friend

all in all . i think thiz song iz a great portrayal of the grief and guilt that comez with lozing a loved one . especially to suicide ; i really hope popo getz to heal and move on from thiz in future installmentz of the seriez . since i find her relationship with itoguchi to be a very interesting one . and that michiz memory can live on forever

My grandmother liked Lily of the valleys. She’s been dead 16 odd years. I never really knew her, but my grandfather talks about her a lot. From what i’ve heard she wasn’t a good person. Just so other nerds know - Nerevarine's outfit is inspired by Babylonian clothing and golden leaves on his head are partially inspired by Puabi's headpiece. She was a queen or a priestess in the city of Ur. This city's patron deity, or one might say the Ur's divine ruler was Nanna (in Sumerian) or Sin (in accadian), a moon god, both the anthropomorphic deity and the moon itself. Fun little coincidence - i've named my first and only Nerevarine of 8+ years ''Moon" long ago, before i even knew what's happening in the game, bc i adore the Moon and her symbolizm. ALSO ALSO…. Sin/Nanna was punishing oathbreakers by skin diseases which reminds me of the Azura changing dunmer's skin color to grey. Ash of Nerevarine's skin is cracked to reveal the gold inside - his past life shines through him. Anyways i've put a lot of care into this one and as a result it's still the best drawing i've ever made imo

Design notes + Headcanons down below

All of them have some sort of neck wear as you can see. Chosen one has a cape (because he is the chosen one) Dark has this two tailed shawl type thing, Second has a two tailed scarf (get it? because second? two? yeah) and Victim has a turtle neck.

All of their scarves glow when they activate their powers, not because the scarfs are the source of power or anything its just because it looks fancy i think. All of them have had those scarfs since they were first created, its kind of a hollow head thing.

Victim's turtle neck used to be a regular scarf but during his fight with Alan his scarfs tail was cut off by the man himself, resulting in it glitching out and not having any sort of texture or anything (like the transparent png background thing) When his alleged "powers" aren't activated, his scarf is pitch black along side with some other parts of his body, lower legs and arms. Because of his scarf he can't really activate any sorts of powers anymore (or never really got the chance to anyway) so he uses his coat instead. How? well thats... for later...

I wanted to give Victim a more classy look, but i do know that he lives in a very corrupt town and that look is maybe a bit too fancy for him. So he dosen't wear his coat most of the time. Meanwhile, Dark loves walking around like a drag queen as he goes on and terrorizing random people. Chosen? Well he has main character syndrome so his apperance is explainable i suppose- And Second is the actual main character who prefers comfort over looks so he has very comfortable shorts and socks. Second's gloves are also meant to resemble artist gloves cause yk the man draws for a living ((fkin literally)

Victim is the tallest and oldest (29+ yo), Chosen and Dark are twins (24-27 yo) although Chosen is taller than Dark and the only reason why Dark is at the same height as him is because he wears heels, and Second is the youngest and shortest (19-21 yo)

Anyways thats all im gonna drop here for now, hope you like them!

And also i almost forgot to mention, the flower in Victim's little vest pocket is a black rose and black roses mean rebirth, so thats a bit of symbolizm i suppose
