4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

The joys of writing with a friend is we can shove our little guys into all kinds of AUs, the current one is a WoW AU. Buuut, and this is pretty niche I'd say, I kinda feel like she'd really fit well in the world of the Unwind series by Neal Shusterman.

5. What’s the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

It's honestly a tie between Body by Mother Mother and The Crooked Kind by Radical Face

14. Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.

Sylene's pretty versatile when it comes to trying out fashions but does tend to lean a bit more girly. She loves being comfy though so I could also see her in streetwear. The plus side of being from the future is there are all kinda of fashion aesthetics I probably haven't even thought of!

He's the human(oid) embodiment of a golden retriever, best sunshine boy. But also his resilience and ability to have a positive outlook even when things are looking rough.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

I'm going to preface this by saying this isn't something that I came up with, this is just something that has kinda happened in the past with various writing partners but I lowkey love that people (ie other characters) either like love Sylene or find her so annoying and can't stand her. We stan a polarizing queen.

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

I'm gonna go with yes, Sylene is a relatively clean person and enjoys cooking which would be a bonus tbh. Although I *do* think we'd probably bum each other out when we're both having bad brain days.

23. Favorite picture of this character?

Okay so I really only have two pictures of her new design that I've done so I'll include the little portrait I did of her. (also cheating and including an additional comm I got of her before her redesign when she looks more human by @/arimesi. The blueish purple skinned one is what she looks like now)

12. What’s a headcanon you have for this character?

Honestly I still kinda love the headcanon that he has a sweet tooth and can't cook for shit, but recently you and @spandexinspace have improved the latter by suggesting that he simply creates a multivitamin so he doesn't have to eat and I've been thinking about that nonstop since I read it lmao.

Finally posting the HFW zine piece I did over a year ago. Meant to put it up a couple weeks ago and completely forgot, but it works out because today is Aloy's birthday!

While physical copies of the zine are sold out at this point, leftover merch and PDFs are still available to buy until the 6th here!

This artwork gets the award for longest I've ever spent on a single piece, clocking in at somewhere between 200-300 hours
