More X-Men Evolution AU designs for Nightcrawler, Rogue, and Morph! I realize I didn't explain this AU in my first post, so I'll try to do a brief summary:
Basically it's X-Men Evolution but Storm and Wolverine are teenagers as well, and Morph is there too. Charles and Erik are teachers at the mansion, but the teens still go to Bayville, except Logan, who's only been out of the weapon x program for about a year and a half, so he's still relearning how to be a person. Also Erik isn't leading the Brotherhood, he's very good friends with Charles, such good friends. They share a bed and everything! The Brotherhood more do their own thing and sometimes they butt heads with the X men, basically what they do in the show when they don't work for Magneto.

Anyone but me interested in a Noir-esque The Bear AU
The Bear is a fancy bar ran by the mob, whom the Berzattos are part of or are associated with. The main story focuses on Sydney as she works there and realises that it's not just a job as a bar chef, but a cover for drug dealing and money laundering.
She observes everyone and gets the idea that most the staff, Tina, Ebra, Marcus, Gary etc, know it's a mob bar but don't know the details and don't want to, they just work the bar and cook the food. She knows that the Faks run security. Mikey's running the bar (trust me, it makes more sense if Mikey's alive but struggling in this plus, my AU, my rules) so she knows that he's aware and controlling what's going on. There's a gun under the counter, code words for the various drugs that people may want to order, and mysterious meetings that has his him shooting daggers. She gets the idea that this isn't what he wanted to do with his life, but he got stuck with it.
She's right. One of the Berzatto siblings had to inherit the Bear, and Mikey sure as shit wasn't going to let it be Carmy or Nat with how much potential they have.
The only person she can't place is Richie. She knows he works there but doesn't see him work the bar, he only takes the coats of certain people and spends most of his time smoozing customers. She guesses he must be a mob guy there to keep an eye on them, or some in house drug dealer.
She asks around and gets laughs. She's told using various euphemisms what his job is, he's a hustler, a gigolo, a rent boy, and when she doesn't get those, or doesn't want to believe them, Tina very blatantly says that he's a prostitute. He's told high profile clients are coming in, or picks up on various people in the bar, and works his charms, either disappearing to their car, their apartment, or if they don't have that kind of cash, to the inconspicuous room at the back that Sydney assumed was a storeroom.
When Gary's off sick, Mikey gets Syd to join him on the bar for a change. This is when she observes Richie more, sees the subtle exchange of money, how Richie turns on his charming attitude when he clocks a client, how someone's always touching him with no regard to consent or personal space or boundaries, like his body isn't actually his and is instead everyone's to do with as they wish.
She picks up on how he disappears almost without notice, how he always comes back looking as immaculate in his suit as he did beforehand. She also notes how Mikey watches him like a hawk, and how his eyes flick down to the gun and the light below the bar, she realises it's a kind of security measure.
It's only as the weeks turn to months that she finds out even more about how dark this place is. How Mikey's high most of the time, and how controlled he and Richie truly are, how much they go against what the mob want, and how desperately she needs to get out before it's too late.

I used to love this show! But I never went back after season 2 episode 1 where Cara Delevingne & Selena Gomez’s characters was supposed to be having romantic chemistry in a scene. I turned my tv off so damn fast & never went back, I am fine with gay or bisexual people but come on everybody is not gay or have a secret gay trait that’s waiting to be shown to the world after someone of the same sex make eye contact with them. Cara Delevingne can’t give off sexual chemistry ever I mean everytime I see her trying to seduce someone on screen I feel “yucky” inside. Cara Delevingne can’t act her way out of a paper bag that’s for 1 & Selena Gomez’s character named Mabel Mora was not a lesbian. Mabel Mora & Cara Delevingne’s character did not have sexual or romantic chemistry at all! Idk who casted Cara Delevingne in “Only Murders in the Building” but they ruined one of my fav shows for me.
I can’t go back because I would have to watch season 2 with Cara Delevingne in episodes & my stomach could not handle it. I hate forced relationships in shows bad enough I have to hear people say that Sydney Adamu & Carmen Berzatto have sexual & romantic chemistry in “The Bear” when they are ZERO I mean NEGATIVE ZERO CHEMISTRY GOING ON BETWEEN THE TWO! Writers keep ruining great shows forcing romantic storylines onto characters because they saw some weirdos posts on Reddit or Tumblr. It is ruining tv shows I want to give “Only Murders in the Building” another chance cause I loved Charles-Haden Savage(Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam(Martin Short), & Mabel Mora(Selena Gomez) chemistry as platonic friends & neighbors!
Everybody does not have sexual or romantic chemistry is everybody they are around. Everybody is not secretly gay or bisexual. Everybody does not want to kiss their best friend. Everybody does not date their neighbor. Everybody does not date their boss or co worker. Damn leave people alone!

The Color Blue: I love it and may read too much into it
Earlier, I was at work doing, you know, working-like things and my mind decided to flash to this scene:

I watched Season Two, Episode Eight (Bolognese) and Episode Nine (Omelette) again and questions. Many fantastic folks have shared commentaries and metas about the imagery, the symbolism, the soundtrack, the cinematography - everything!(@thoughtfulchaos773, @unladyboss, @gingerylangylang1979 are just the few that hit. I'm sorry if I missed anyone. I'm sure I did. This fandom is too creative and intuitive for me to keep up with!)
And my okey-doke foolish self is wondering: "okay but why am I seeing this image of Sydney changing in the same dim, dark blue sexy lighting as Carmy being intimate with Claire?"
(Side note: DAMN that opening intimate scene in Omelette got me into and applauding Carmen. Get your sensuality on!!!!)
This above scene was sliced in with Carmy making dinner for Claire in episode eight. Then, as I said, the next episode opens with the mood lighting. Like...huh? I mean, really? These two women, similar lighting, personal moments? What is happening?
But then we are cut to Carmen's panic attack. The world we are shown is in cooler blue tones as he's zoomed in on i that back alley.
Those in the flashbacks that are in warmer colors/tones are taunting, patronizing, and disregarding of Carmen.
Throughout all of this, when Carmen is cut back to in cooler hues, who else do we see filmed in such a light? Sydney.
To cap it all off, the immediate scene after Carmen settles and smiles is of Sydney approaching the almost completed Bear, her saturation (is that a term? is that a film term thing or am i making words up to sound smart-ish?) is in the same paler, calmer blue.
We also see this blue hue in the BOH during the final episode as Carmen starts spiraling. As he shouts for a re-fire, Sydney holds him accountable and he actually takes a breath. He stops, sees her, and apologizes. He tried to manage his emotions.

I tried to be more aware while watching this episode in particular and I noticed that, when Carmy is trapped in his own making - I mean trapped in the walk-in, he's filmed in a clear blue tone.

To my untrained eye, in this picture, the deeper blue transitioning into something lighter is significant. Is this a way to show intimacy? To show Carmen connecting back with his personal like? Him finding a way to process it? HECK! This color scheme showed itself when he met Claire in the grocery store. Does this color palette represent Carmen being faced with having a personal life? To be around others who want to see him can be daunting yet muted and depressing.
Too many thoughts I'm trying to express HOURS after my original thought all the while fighting off going to sleep.
To wrap this whole thing up on a random note, this song from way back in my high school emo days came to mind. I seems to fit our boy Carmen.
