Thinking about how, thanks to LBD and her possession of SWK, we now have confirmation that every single fight that we have see Sun Wukong in... he was holding back.

When he fought Macaque in the first season, Spider Queen during the ses 2 special, Nezha while he was trying to get the map, the Scorpion Demon too probably, (though he was a bit nerfed then,) he was not using even close to his real power. We have just now seen his real speed. He could have taken out Macaque in an instant when he first showed up, without endangering Mk. But he didn't.

Sun Wukong has incredible control over his strength and what's more, he doesn't truly want to hurt anyone.

The Samadhi fire is a weapon of mass destruction, but we see it burn away LBD's hold--the chains--from Macaque without killing him. If you're a powerful being, or even just someone with power and the one in control of the power doesn't want to hurt you and they have enough control over it,  chances are it's not going to kill you.

SWK's Master, his mentor, his friend is gone, but his lessons in compassion remain. He wanted to defeat the Lady Bone Demon. Never once did he say kill until the end.

The old Monkey King's go-to was to kill. It was easy, he didn't really see what was wrong with it, it sure got rid of the problem faster. This Monkey King? After JTTW? ...Killing is his absolute last resort.

Monkey King left to find a way to defeat the Lady Bone Demon without killing her. And when that failed, only then did he confront her. He had the power to kill her all along, had the power to kill all of them, he may have been slightly nerfed at times, but like... at the end of it all, hurting people is the last thing he wants to do. And he did everything he could to prevent that being the action he had to take.

In the end he failed though. And thats when he fell to his last resort. And maybe he regretted it a little bit because if he'd just killed her in the first place none of this would have happened. But his time with Tang Sanzang taught him value life and value compassion. Even at his own expense. Kinda like Mk at times.

(Soooo we see a vision of an all inked up MK, then we see the stone cracking, then we see a shot of the curse from 4x02, and THEN MK turns Tang Sanzang's golden power blue, a color associated with both LBD and the underworld in general. HM.)

(There's no hair flip so it's not MK, so it would make me think that this is an ink version of SWK next to the stone. It's weird so I'm including it!)

Wukong is very flirty physically. The popsicle, the fact he was leaning on macaque so much he almost fell when macaque moved away, the past hugs and fixing of clothes, the offered handhold.

Macaque is very flirty verbally. Gem, beloved friend, sun, always the comedian, good to see you bud, cute. Plus his tone has been very flirty at times

There has been times where mac has physically flirted (clone pile up, holding hands while fighting (you didn't have to do that mac)) and times wukong has verbally flirted ("peach", calling macaque cool though macaque wasn't there so not sure if it counts). But it's been mainly 1 strategy

with their powers combined….only then do they become….the ultimate…..SHADOWPEACH

CAUSE LIKE YOU SEE, TANG MENTIONS 3 POWERS "cloud walking, flight and TELEPORTATION" AND WUKONG EVEN DID TELEPORT RIGHT THERE, I mean it's obvious to the fandom that Mk will probably have Flight and/or cloud walking powers, BUT I THINK THE FANDOM FORGOT THAT IF WUKONG CAN TELEPORT IT MEANS MK CAN TO!!

good morning I’m fully convinced that the reason Monkey King didn’t immediately smash through the stone/ice/bone that Macaque used to pin him and Nezha against that cliff face thingie in ses 3 ep 10 was because he was worried he might lose some control of his powers because he was panicked and hurt Nezha

AU where SWK and Mac share a body but like, different

During the day he's Wukong, the Monkey King, MK's teacher, but the moment the sun disappears from the sky he's Liu'er Mihou, the Six Eared Macaque, a king's shadow

During the daytime, Macaque (or his essence? Idk how to explain it) appears as SWK's shadow. He can't leave SWK's side, but he can control other shadows and stretch himself enough to cover up a whole room. He can still make shadow clones of himself to resemble a physical body, but he can't posses them so it's useless anyway (unless it's for fighting or stuff like that). He's never wanted his own body anyway

When it's night, Sun Wukong appears as all the light surrounding Macaque. Be it a lamppost, a phone, a fire, or even the glow of the moon, you name it. All of that is him. If he really wants to, though, he can show up as some kind of ghost, like when he's doing that whole Astral Projection thingy, but more cloud-looking. If you pay enough attention, you can sometimes see something that looks like a golden cloud surrounding Macaque's body

They can tell what the other is feeling and thinking all the time. It's not overwhelming or anything, it's just how things have always been. When they "talk" they don't do it with words, they just always know what the other wants to communicate
