I don’t remember if you’d answered this or not, but. Hypothetically. If Silverstream somehow Hadn’t gotten pregnant and she & Graystripe had continued seeing each other etc etc, what would she have nicknamed him?

I imagine something to do with his size, combined with his kindness (that only she was seeing at this time). I never came up with one, since he was never going to get it. If I had to make up one now, I'd say maybe Bumblestomp or Sweetrock?

Love how tumblr has its own folk stories. Yeah the God of Arepo we’ve all heard the story and we all still cry about it. Yeah that one about the woman locked up for centuries finally getting free. That one about the witch who would marry anyone who could get her house key from her cat and it’s revealed she IS the cat after the narrator befriends the cat.

I was paging through Other Ever Afters at the bookstore, and I noticed that one of the panels in Sweetrock had been altered for the physical release. Why do changes like this sometimes happen?

There were a handful of minor edits I made to the older stories for the print edition, most of them at the request of my editor or copyeditor (which is pretty normal for print editions of online comics!)

For Sweetrock specifically, there was one particular panel I was asked to replace, to remove some nudity from a book that would be shelved as a YA comic. If you’re lucky enough to own one of the old Sweetrock minicomics I used to sell at conventions (before anyone asks: they’re out of print now!) then congrats — you’ve got the Contraband Big Titty version ;)

What kind of inhuman asshole calls a prison "Sweetrock"? Also what kind of prison sells their prisoners? Is this even legal? Also since when do they allow dwarves to leave the ghettos?

Nearby is a town called Sweetrock (they got sweet rocks duuude), hence the name of the prison.

And this isn’t a good prison, or at least the people running it aren’t too good. To the public they say “oh that prisoner decided to volunteer their services!” By services they mean fighting and by volunteer they mean forcibly taken. Besides that though the prison is very much clean legal wise. Probably that’s why they haven’t been caught yet.

Also Dwarves usually live more in Northern Cascadia but some can be found around the south here and there. Especially over in Sweetrock.
