Hi Katie - I just purchased your new Marmalade theme (love it 💕) and I noticed that, for some reason, the tabs are crowded together on my blog, rather than having a small space between them. I have on-blog advertising turned off, and I tried troubleshooting it myself, but IDK what the cause is.

This is an issue I’ve noticed with a few other customers, and is not exclusive to Marmalade Suite. I’m assuming it’s tumblr related, but I haven’t been able to figure it out yet and the on-blog advertising trick no longer works. There are a couple of other themes of mine that this affects, so if anyone experiences any issues with their theme elements looking “squished” or otherwise not positioned how the should be, please let me know and I’d be happy to help you!

Until I figure out the root cause of this, I’ve whipped up a quick little code snippet to brute-force the tabs back into place for you. At the very bottom of your customization panel go into Advanced Settings, then paste this code under “ADD CUSTOM CSS” :

.tab {    margin-left:4px!important; }

This should put the tabs back into their proper place. Please let me know if I can help you any further, thank you! 💕

(note: if anyone using Macaron Suite is experiencing the same tab issue, this code should fix that, too!)

Life of Rita

Rita loved to read. She loved it so much, she sometimes forgot to eat, or to go out. Even in the summer, when she could hear the laughs of children outside, she read. She loved it so much, she could stay all day long sitting at her window. From the brisk morning light to the very end of Golden Hour, and all throughout an August afternoon, Rita sat and read and was the happiest child on earth.
