Sie sind es, die uns zu dem machen, was wir sind – einzigartig und wertvoll. Es ist an der Zeit, dass wir uns von dem Druck der Perfektion befreien und uns erlauben, unvollkommen zu sein. Lasst uns unsere Schwächen akzeptieren und sie als Teil unserer Stärke betrachten. Lasst uns authentisch sein und uns so zeigen, wie wir wirklich sind – mit all unseren Fehlern und Eigenheiten. Denn nur wenn wir uns selbst lieben und akzeptieren, können wir auch andere wirklich lieben und akzeptieren. Nur wenn wir uns erlauben, unvollkommen zu sein, können wir eine Welt schaffen, in der jeder Mensch seinen Platz findet und sich wertgeschätzt fühlt. Also, lasst uns die Perfektion hinter uns lassen und die Unvollkommenheit feiern. Lasst uns unsere Narben mit Stolz tragen und unsere Geschichten erzählen. Denn in der Authentizität liegt die wahre Schönheit, und in der Unvollkommenheit die wahre Stärke. Und am Ende des Tages ist es doch das, was wirklich zählt: Dass wir echt sind, dass wir uns selbst treu bleiben und dass wir eine Welt schaffen, in der jeder Mensch sein wahres Ich zeigen kann, ohne Angst vor Urteil oder Ablehnung.

Apparently, my body’s reaction to a run of the mill kindergarten head cold is to freak the heck out and get an ear infection. I’ve been this close to driving myself to urgent care today because it hurts so damn much I can barely see straight. . And it has put two persistent thoughts in my head: . 1) I can’t believe that my poor baby suffered through this so many times. 2) parents who endure chronic pain while parenting are rock stars. It’s a bit of self pity prompting this post. I’ve spent the day teetering between laying in my bed sobbing and trying to act, in front of my kids, like I didn’t want to do that. And, well, that was hard as hell. And there are Mom’s that do this EVERY SINGLE DAY Day in, day out. WITHOUT A BREAK. And I want to wrap each and every one of you in healing light and love. . You don’t deserve to endure this. . I see that you are exhausted with the effort. And I see you facing every day the best you can. . I’m humbled today by this. I really am. .
