I think if Andrew were to give up smoking he’d give up cold turkey. Like the most he’d do in terms of weaning himself off is maybe some nicotine gum for a couple of weeks or he’d hide a little nicotine patch for a little while. He keeps a packet of cigarettes hidden somewhere with his things for emergencies only - for just in case something happens to Betsy or Wymack and he needs a cigarette. Or if something were to happen to Neil, Aaron, Kevin or Nicky. If he quits before Aaron’s trial he’d be chain smoking for a week leading up to the day he’s on the stand.

BUT

That being said I can also picture him vaping if he did struggle to quit the cigarettes. But I don’t think he’d vape any of the nice flavours, though, I think he’s a menace who’d vape the nasty tobacco flavoured juice. His vape would also be one of those huge, obnoxious, boxy ones. And he’d be The Worst Person You Know Who Vapes. Vapes indoors. Vapes in your face. Absolutely billows those massive clouds just to piss someone off who asked him to stop.

hahah thank u lovely! i'm no saint and i do allow myself a couple on special occasions (festivals and holidays abroad) but a big improvement from a full-time smoker. if anyone's looking to quit or cut down, i really would recommend taking up a new hobby or activity where you can see the impact of smoking. In my case this was running (5 years ago now!) because i found it was easier to kick the habit when i was doing something where i could really see the improvement each day i didn't have cigarette
