Super belated post, but I realized how maybe we were too hasty because of how much less garbage the Loki show could have been. Back when they were pitching the idea of having it be about his childhood in Asgard, with Tom narrating as a voice-over — I’d trade what we got for that in a heartbeat. It might even have been reasonably in-character! Sure, he would have stayed dead; but at least they wouldn’t have cis-washed him and completely butchered his personality.
