Ohhhh boy...ya'll are not going to like this. Idk if i myself am shocked or not surprised...but literary ALL of the cards are BAD, and i kept on drawing and drawing more hoping at least one good will come out but...🥲 sadly all of them are pretty weird.

That being said i am reading current energy not current energy, and im not getting AT ALL vibes from chan for wanting to get settled down anytime soon. All of his focus is on his career and goals and ambitions etc and theres just no place left for a family.

So i guess it makes sense that all of the cards are really negative as it's just not his time now. I do feel potential in him tho (after some therapy and probably retirement).

Im just gonna go ahead and start with the 9oS which tells me that being a husband and the head of the family will put IMMENSE pressure on him with which he cannot deal with. I think he makes it much bigger in his mind and lets doubts, paranoia, stress etc get the best of him and im seeing him actually having pretty hesitant thoughts on marriage for that time being just for that same reason. I think he's a guy that sees this as a very serious job (can imagine him picking that up from his dad) and its nothing to be taken lightly and as i said it gets very twisted and exaggerated in his head and takes the best of him. If he were to get married right now, he would change very quickly from what his s/o has seen from him and take a huge turn for the worse and put forward his shadow side. Im seeing lots of toxic coping mechanisms too which very conveniently leads me to the next card.

The 3oC usually a nice card but not in this case, especially because of the heavy display of alcohol - im seeing him wanting to escape the crushing weight of his responsibilities and looking for that escape in the face of alcohol & shady friends that may be just too immature and bachelory-mindseted and have a bad influence on him. I can see him missing for nights on end, which also relates to the 5oP as well and him giving...no having to be forced to give the bare minimum, and him even struggling to do that, and twisting it all to look like the victim. But more on that card at the end. So as i was saying im seeing him being very absent a lot of the time, not only because of work but because he's out and about with his friends. Im not really getting cheating from the cards - but im getting heavy vibes of a similar setting where temptation is just around the corner and him just living as if he had no family back at home waiting for him. This - once again very conveniently ties to the next card😂

Which is the 5oW. Im seeing lots of fight, probably initially starting because of his prolonged missing and eventually moving on to different things. Im seeing fights escalating very quickly, starting very quickly, being very exhausting and very damaging. To the relationship, to both their mental health and to some random objects nearby👀

With The Fool im seeing him being way too immature for something like this at this current point and it shows pretty well on the card - he's just not in the right state of mind for this chapter of his life and if it were to happen it will bring out his unreadiness and immaturity forth even more - to show where he has to work on to be ready for that next stage.

And back to the 5oP again, aside from him having to be forced to give the bare minimum and him even failing at that - he very skillfuly turns it out to look as if he's the attacked one, as if he's the bullied one, as if his wife's the one who's starving him and making him out to be the bad guy and he just feels really bullied by the whole situation and behaves that way and expresses himself that way so i would say - a huge victim complex.

Overall i would say this reading was more of a "chans toxic defence and cooing mechanisms if he were put into the corner" reading, which is kinda sad cuz that doesn't really give much insight as to what he would be like as a husband cuz what we just saw wasn't really chan but his "alter ego" that protects him in a way. Yk we all have that one side of us that takes over as if on autopilot when we feel threatened in any way. I think that would be the same for chan, and if he were to feel comfortable with the idea of marriage and feel ready for that, the reading would be way way different. But i find future readings to not be much of my thing cuz thats way to unreliable cuz energy can change in so many ways, theres so many different outcomes... but we'll see how the other readings turn out and if all the guys have weird current energies that don't really answer what they'll be like as proper husband i may try a future reading.

First impression.

It's hard to tell that here's a monster in front of you – after all, "main" body looks 100% human! Ah, yes, for sure, Eve is true femme fatale with this charming looks of hers. It's no surprise she steals attention easily with this seductive eyes and lovely lips- And what about her long, luxurious hair? Perfection as it is!

Ah, but she looks kind of sick, you know? And it's not even about her deadly pale skin- Sometimes it seems like she's talking- even arguing with herself- And her hair moves strangely even without any wind from times to times. Sometimes she can even puke out very strange things... Hmm, have you ever seen her eating them, actually? Or just eating at all?

Of course, pretty ladies never walk alone – and in case of Eve, her guardian dog is glued to her... Well. Quite literally. Grghaath never delays his early introduction, opening his massive jaw on the back of her head just to slip in some comment every time he hears something intriguing without thinking twice. Or, for example, when he can sense some food nearby- And, well, with amounts he's consuming, here's no surprise Eve doesn't have to bother herself...

How he decide "what is food" is a different story tho. Pft, what a brute.

What are they?

Joke of nature Very strange case of symbiosis between human and... Well, something non-human. Roughly speaking, they're closer to changeling in the matter of literally turning inside out if they feel the need to swap. For the most of the time, Grghaath hides inside Eve, letting her communicate with outside world; in cases of danger, they change, since in terms of raw power Grghaath is a clear winner. It's needless to say that their harmony and teamwork are impressive – no-no, what is truly shocking, that even after years of being in such unique alliance, sharing thoughts, etc., both of them saved their original personalities and clear lol minds. For now, they are like roommates, but with different sides of body... Bodymates? Side neighbours?? Inside-outsties??? 🤔🤔🤔

Grghaath looks like giant, constantly wriggling and moving mass of flesh with a lot of mouths full of sharp teeth (prob will remake it lol). Eye on his body belongs to Eve.

Eve looks like human mostly, no special features aside from long "scar" on her back and big mouth at the back of her head.

Both can use tendrils(?) masked as hair; both can talk with eachother in thoughts if needed, share senses/thoughts/memories/etc. Eve become much stronger after their fusion, Grghaath gained higher intelligence for those of his kind and brighter emotions.

Not a mothering type, but "cool elder sister with knowledge behind her back" type – smart and reliable one, doesn't afraid to take responsibility for her actions. Grghaath, well... He's not a baddest neighbour for sure. If you will ignore his bad eating habits, he's pretty chill dude! Can and will talk with people around him about some silly random shit. Usually mistaken for the some type of parasyte, which makes him so offended........ And leads to funny and emotional protests. Scarily fast learner! Will laugh it off if someone points it out. Very good hunter, adapts to every condition so quickly– well, yes... He doesn't like to get scolded if he gets catched for eating some lame loser. It's a need to be smart and fast enough. Still too animalistic to clean up his meals perfectly, so he still gets scolded :(

What's their motivation?

Grghaath wants to find truth. Both of them has no information about what in the goddamn world fused them nor who they were before their meeting, all their memories are foggy. Must say, it's not a "i want to get rid of her" thing, mostly just interest.

Eve doesn't have any strict plans for life, she goes where wind blows. For now she tries to find someone like them- well, like Grghaath. She knows that he feels lonely. Sometimes she wonders if it's better for them to be separated, so he can live normal live for his kind.

beat Forspoken, and while I probably will write an in-depth review down the line cuz i have many thoughts, I'm just going to pointform my basic thoughts while it's still fresh.

PROS

Great designs all around, the Tantas look so breathtaking with their extravagant designs and yet it doesn't take away from their world, it fits just right in. Absolutely love it.

Good world building most questions i had were answered either through the main story or extra archive stuff. Nothing felt too weird yknow

Gameplay gameplay gameplay. The magic system is literally amazing. I dont think I've had this much fun fighting in an rpg in a long time. Theres so much fun variety so you can focus on whats comfortable for you while also looking sick as fuck. Have i mentioned how good the battle system is cuz i avoid playing mage in every game because its such a slog but here its so fast paced and hits hard. Perfect for me.

The music is soooo good, I love the main theme and find myself humming it literally all the time.

Great graphics but maybe a lil too many particle effects but otherwise really pretty.

The story is technically a pro. Like its good, not bad, not great, just good. Basically something you'd find in the YA Fantasy section, thats the kinda quality it was. Which isn't a insult I did enjoy the story and characters. It just needed polish, fix up the dialogue and trim some of the story fat and i wouldn't have any complaints tbh. Probably would do better as a book series tho ngl, not sure what game format would have saved it.

Shoutout to the accessibility options. I'm glad more games are including these. I'll never understand complaints about them though, like just dont use them if you dont want/need to thats it.

ALMOST FORGOT THE COOLEST THING. THE NAILS. I'm sorry but the idea of using nail art to inscribe magic runes to give you buffs is the coolest fucking idea ever, why has this concept not been used till now. We always see rune tatoos or written on gear and stuff im fantasy media but this is such a neat ideaaaa and im forever thankful for it. Her capes are cool too I guess, with there was more variety rather than recolors tho. Kinda wish we could also get different outfits for her tho. Those jeans probably chafe.

THE OPEN WORLD IS SO BIG FOR NO GODDAMN REASON. I honestly wish this wasn't an open world game tbh, its so unnecessary. Halfway through the game, i got so frustrated and ignored everything that wasn't story points cuz getting everywhere takes so damn long, especially early on when you dont have fancy parkour or stamina. Easily its biggest fault for me.

I understand they thought it'd do way better than what happened but planning out a story as a trilogy in the gaming industry is not a smart move. I've yet to play the dlc so idk if we get closure but the loose ends werent a great way for the game to end.

Oh, the dialogue. Its easily one of the gamest weakest points. Like the type of dialogue i was writing in my original stories when i was 13 (not that ive gotten any better tbh). Basically, it's not what you expect from such a vaunted company. Frey is great when shes excited or angry, which is most of the time, but occasionally, they'll hit me with the cheesiest line I've heard in years, and idk how to handle it. Like the stuff she says in the final chapter is honestly so robotic, there is no natural flow present. Which is a pity cuz the actress was killing it tbh, like she definitely carried the lines with her emotion. Unfortunately, it couldn't save them. Like if it was something they dropped on ps3 or wii, it honestly would have done fine. What i mean to say is the dialogue is very outdated in this age of gaming. im actually surprised how out of touch it feels. Especially since otherwise its a solid game all around. Regarding Cuff and Frey banter you do have the option to make it less frequent or just turn it off but i never really found them annoying regardless.

Maybe its just me but the control scheme feels so weird, the games makes you feel like you should be gliding most of the time but holding O while spaming all those trigger buttons feels so awkward to me. But then again I also didnt care enough to change the control scheme so.

Thats okay, although ı didnt have any symptoms to have one. Neat ha? Well, during this period, I actually thought I got hıv or hpv from a guy, I coulndt even fucking have sex with. AAHAHHAAH. Yes, that right. He fucking couldnt manage to fuck me but a little bit contact is enough to transmit a damn virus. Luckily, I worried for nothing. Was negative for good for once. What elsee, oh so because of the cyst I cant really have sex. It can be problematic and ı dont have time to deal with that anyway. Gotta study. So that ı can get into a damn university far from my town. Thats the easy part tho. At least ı got the instructions and doing it without caring much. I need to figure out what to do after this phase. How often do we think about other people? Friends, exes, family members, the pretty girl on the bus, crushes, teachers? All the people somehow related to our life experince but not ourselves. How many percentage goes to us and how much left to others? How much is considered healthy and what are right measures for it? %50 to %50 or %70 us to %30 for others, or the reverse? I think ıts more normal if we think more about ourselves and less about others. Although I dont think our thoughts, our comments, our words are mostly about us. I think what we do mostly judging, evaluating , cutting into pieces, chipping others and hanging whats left to our wall, mind. And play them in the background lol

Bedtime won tonight, but I'll have my revenge

I didn't give the day much though as I was enjoying it but it was a lowkey good kinda day. Not too productive, not too not productive. Me and my brother played Monster Hunter GU for a while and got my new character to HR7, and then in the weirdest turn of events ever we played No Man's Sky for a little bit. Hes been talking shit about that game since it released, but Starfield is so shit he decided to give NMS a second chance. I think he enjoyed it well enough. The game is a little crusty at times but the space travel is so fuckin cool, and when we entered the second planet's atmosphere he was actually like oh I really like this planet, which surprised me. I'm thinking once we have a grasp on the mechanics I'll probably make us a survival game so we dont have plot to worry about. The only thing I worry about is how much content is lost in survival cuz I really want my living ship but the Spacial Anomaly is a story thing so idk if you still go there. Really fun game if youre patient tho

Then in an uncharacteristic display of restraint, I pulled myself away from video game to do chore stuff and make food. I made udon and I successfully boiled an egg for the first time. Youd think I wouldve done that by now since I'm almost 30 but I fucked up the last 4 I attempted lol. But it had egg and bok choy and then I put soy sauce, sesame oil, and some ginger paste in there and it was pretty shmackin I gotta say

Then Steam exploded whilst me and the bestie reading this were trying to play Monster Hunter Rise so we drew for a few hours and I did the first big safe for work thing I've drawn in a while. I forced myself to try less and I maybe shouldve flopped my canvas and zoomed out a few more times but it came out pretty goob. I gotta finish the background tomorrow. But now I like defeated in the field of bedtime, but only for now

so... 2022 huh?

i didn't even write a reflection post last year (well i tried but i never finished writing it) which i'm kinda really sad about because i really like having these snapshots of where i am at in my life every year... and i feel like i'm missing a year! because i am! so while i can't do a whole reflection of 2021, i can do my best and that's the best anyone can do

so 2021 was the start, crawling out of the hellscape that was 2020... in terms of overall quality, 2021 was a major improvement from the previous year. to make things easier, first i'll go thru what i actually accomplished on my list of goals i made at the end of 2020:

☑️ read new books: my goal was 10 and i read 8, three of which were comics/graphic novels and one was a road trip guide book? so technically i read more than before

☑️ watch new shows/movies: i made a letterboxd to keep track of what i watched instead of the notebook idea i had and i watched 48 movies/tv shows !!! wowie that's pretty good i never counted that out b4 :D

☑️ listen to new music: my spotify wrapped had very much different music than previous years so i did the dang thing too ...it uh... got flooded by OM music cuz i had a phase in the summer but other than that its all pretty diverse !

☑️ eat new food: i had kbbq for the first time in 2021 so i think that counts?

☑️ go on a road trip/visit some place ive never been before/go to a club: so i planned a pretty spontaneous trip to LA cuz i saw an ad on Instagram for a city pop night at a club in DTLA... i thought it was a rare thing (turns out it ain't lol) so i got my friends to go and it was really fun and i knocked these 3 things out in one go (tho the road trip one is a little ehh bc we didn't make any stops, we just drove ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) bc i've never been to little tokyo and it was in a club! so check!!

so as far as goals go that's pretty good! other notable highlights of the year include:

⭐ i passed my drivers test (after failing the first time lol) and got a car that i love so dang much!

⭐ tried dating (the first time) and it didn't get far lol (that's on me)

⭐ karaoke night after not seeing people in person for over a year

⭐ played d&d in-person again finally

⭐ HELLA MEGA TOUR!! THAT WAS TIGHT AF 10/10 would recommend

⭐ saw lindsay and kaveh at a book signing event that was pretty cool !! (still have to read the book lol;;)

so yeah ! it was pretty great, all things considered... i think around this time last year covid cases were surging and things were feeling bad again so my perspective of the year was tainted by that cloud but looking back, i think i had a pretty good run...

i had made another, separate doc as a kinda goal list ? but i never finished it either lmao but i did put 3 things on it:

🌠 write something

🌠 join a club at school

i said 2021 would be the year of new and i think i accomplished that

lotta stuff happened... started off strong by getting covid (lol), went to big bear for the first time, technically saw snow (on the ground) for the first time, saw remi TWICE in ONE YEAR, tried dating again (still didn't get very far), saw ORI AGAIN FINALLY, hung out with pals A LOT, ate good food, got really (back) into comics this year??, worked full time at the library this summer, got over my stupid crush FINALLY, went to 3 conventions - 1 of which being COMIC CON... anD OH YEAH I GOT PROMOTED!! pretty accomplished i would say

as far as my goals from last year i actually accomplished something!! and hey 2 outta 3 ain't bad ;^)

i reached my reading goal with 13/12 !! granted 5 of them were graphic novels again but i stuck with my book club (kinda;;) and read some stuff!! i started a lot more books than i finished this year but i want to push myself harder next year (this year)!! my want-to-read list on GoodReads is 500+ and that hasn't even been updated recently!! i gotta step my game up man,, i think i decided i want to try to be an editor someday so i gotta go for it!!

did i write something this year??? in fact i fucking did!! i wrote fanfiction even!! something i srsly never thought i would actually accomplish... and i started a first real draft for J+M and got thru most of the first "season" of that!! so that's cool!! i wanna write more!! i found this writing tracker like halfway thru the year and was trying to add to it retroactively but it was hard so i don't know exactly how many words i wrote this year BUT it's more than 40k!! so WOW!! I'll keep better track this year so we can know fr fr

if 2021 was the year trying new things, 2022 seemed to be the year of getting used to the new normal bc surprise!! covid is still around!! but ig it'll be endemic now instead of a pandemic bc we couldn't fucking eradicate it 🙄 whatever...

the last couple months of 2022 kinda painted the whole year a somber color but looking back, i can see that i had a really good time for the most part... i hope 2023 will be nice :^)

SO... GOALS:

So I had another HORRID exchange with the Bogwick crowd today. We were at lunch and James wasn’t there. Christa must have noticed I looked disappointed, cuz she asked, “How are things between you and James?” Gen and Bradley were absorbed in their own conversation (they’re together again, surprise surprise), so I felt like I could tell her the truth without fear of judgement.

I told her, “I’m not sure” but instantly regretted it as Gen and Bradley stopped doing their weird, Jesus-approved PDA and Gen turned to look at me.

That familiar cruel grin spread across her face and she said, “Oh no, did Cee Cee finally scare you away with his sixth sense?”

I could tell Gen was savoring my confusion.

“Did James not tell you?” she asked in that familiar fake-concerned voice. I glanced at Christa who was staring daggers at Gen. Gen ignored her and continued. “Did he not tell you that he See Sees dead people?”

Bradley cracked up and Gen looked stupidly proud. I still had no idea what they were talking about. Before Gen and Bradley could continue spouting their nonsense, Christa jumped in and informed me, “James goes by his middle name. His first name is Cecil. That’s why we used to call him Cee Cee, but we DON’T anymore.” Christa shot a sharp look at Gen and Bradley.

“Bradley came up with it,” Gen said proudly, ignoring Christa altogether.

“Yeah,” Bradley jumped in. “We called him Cee Cee, ‘cuz he See Sees dead people!”

“WILL YOU QUIT IT?” Christa said sharply. She looked at me sympathetically and said, “Don’t listen to them, Flora” Her tone was comforting, but she was clearly annoyed by Gen and Bradley. And there was something else there that I can’t quite pinpoint... A desperation?

“Chill out, Christa,” Bradley said. “We’re just joking around. Besides, you used to think it was funny.”

“Yeah, when we were nine,” Christa snapped back at him.

I started feeling really weird again. Like that night at the party. I excused myself and left. I don’t even know how they all reacted, I was in such a daze.

I could feel my heart pounding. Before I knew it, my shitty winter boots were on and I was bolting home through the January slush.

As I ran, heaving, my head was spinning with thoughts of James and all this weirdness. I didn’t know who his family was until last week, and I didn’t even know his ACTUAL NAME until TODAY!!! And, of course, HE didn’t share these things with me. Why are his mean, shitty friends more honest with me than he is??? Why is he even friends with them? And what am I to him?? For God’s sake, I don’t even know if we’re together-together or not!!!

I got home and my mom was in the living room, reading a magazine. She looked at me with surprise. Then anger, realizing I had ditched school in the middle of the day. Then concern, as I burst into tears.

She immediately started consoling me as I wailed, “I’M SORRY, MAMA, I’M SORRY” and she held me close and repeated, “Todo esta bien, toda esta bien.”

So yeah. Today sucked. Kinda feels like everything sucks. But my mom forgave me and made me an early dinner (mbeju, my favorite).

I really really really really don’t want to go to school tomorrow. I don’t think I have the strength or resolve to face everyone. Ughhh.

Alt hopes for 2022

As the title suggests this is just me rambling off about characters I hope to see get an alt or some significant representation in 2022. Feel free to reblog with your own opinions or thoughts or expand on these with a post on social media of your own! I'd love to read what everyone has in mind. ~I don't think I'm turning any heads when I am saying we really should see a Shinya alt. It really hurts that  Shinya, even after a skill evolution, is honestly one of the weakest units in the game. I understand he's a launch/year 1 character but it's a shame he really has nothing going for him. I actually really like Shinya's design and think his writing is pleasant enough. Shinya fans deserve to eat good. ~Another set of characters who have really fallen to the wayside are Agyo and Gullinbursti. I just think it's criminal how underused these two are in the grand scheme of things considering they're members of the Summoner's Guild. This is more to give their fans hope and a bit of new life more than anything just because they've been sitting in the corner hoping for a smidgen of content. ~Obligatory gamma g slot. Just pick one at this point and watch me cry as we don't see anything come from it. I think this is possibly the least likely, but it's still a nonzero chance so keep chugging that copium. ~Heracles because please. ~Fuxi. I just really like his art and design and would like to see more of him. I've heard he was a bit of a letdown in Chapter 12 (tho I have yet to get caught up myself) but I'm hoping maybe with an alt down the line he can be improved. Also I always love me a Yugioh reference! ~On the topic of Gambler's I'm incredibly curious to see what they would do with Gandharva. I won't lie I do actually like his design and think he looks really cool with him having an interesting dynamic with characters who tend to play it safe. Plus he's a buff bird man and Thunderbird getting an alt in 2021 was so much yes- ~Mineaki wasn't a character I expected to get an alt, nor was I expecting him to be as good as he turned out being so I'm hoping that Avarga turns out to be at least half as useful. He's the other Yoyogi teacher and I believe the last one of the academy to be getting an alt. Cuz Jugo of all people got an alt as well which I wasn't anticipating which I believe (at the time of writing this) leaves Avarga as our standalone teacher. So yeah Avarga 2022 make it happen please ~Nyarlahotep is a character who had quite a bit of relevance in 2021 that I was surprised about but at the same time not really the recognition he deserved. I just think it's about time he joined his Old Ones brothers and gained alt status. ~Obligatory Marchosias slot. ~Taurus Mask second alt. No I don't have to justify this one. Just let it be a reality and let me have a world where I can be happy. ~Jacob or Kresnik. At this point I'm just a Gomtang simp and would appreciate more ways to acquire Jacob. Kresnik also has that foxy grandpa vibes I can respect. ~I'm gonna throw Oz here too because the poor lad has not been treated the best. Just an alt to breathe a bit of new life into him please? ~This one's a bit more of one that's out there that I simply don't talk about him enough on my social medias, but give us a Behemoth alt. I feel like he's a bit past due for one. The main reason why I'm putting him here is because he was a big part of me getting back into Housamo alongside Ziz when I got the YouTube notification that Valentine's banner and I have had my account since. We've come a long way and I would just like to see it sort of come full circle with a Behemoth alt. I think he's got a lovable design and is someone I should probably write about in the future (?) ~To close out the list I'm just gonna be honest and say this is easily my most wanted alt and that's a Tomte alt. I was a little disappointed we didn't get his event translated in an official capacity since he's honestly a character I resonated with and enjoyed a lot. I've gotten plenty of mileage out of using Tomte- to the point I've made legitimate memes on my Twitter and Discord profiles. He's really cute and I love his design which I know not everyone is a fan of, but he's one of my favorites and I would really like to see him get more involvement. Anyways that's my sort of wishlist for 2022. I'll be honest I got most of my faves between 2019 and now so I'm not too stressed about what alts we get this year. I'm also incredibly grateful I got lucky enough to get all of the units on my radar throughout 2021 and hope that it keeps up into 2022. i have many self-ships, actually!! tho i'm a bit confused by what constitutes one because... i basically ship myself with everyone LOL. and i know some people have very developed backstories for their selfship worlds... i wouldn't say i have one specific "canon" for each character + i's setup... but rather i pick whatever scenario i'm enjoying at the moment and then apply it to them and do that as needed. probs cuz it changes so often and always has.

Most of the time this past year it's been bakugo (what a surprise), so i would say he's def my top self ship??? but honestly whenever i'm thinking of anything for any character, whether it's suggested by u guys or not, i'm absolutely brainrotting for them, too. i mentioned this ages ago on IHB, but for the longest time i actually liked everyone in mha pretty equally, so i lowkey still do

honestly... not so much recently bc i've really been going thru it w/ my writing, but i feel like i do a good job of talking to u guys about all the stuff i wanna! i've honestly been self inserting so long that turning my ideas into inserts is actually very easy for me, plus, since i LOVE and enjoy writing second person, i don't have any issues with stuff being relatable to me personally. it just always is (for the most part).
